I feel that Halo 4 should overhaul the amount of options for custom games, and here are some Ideas.
-Make damage resistance go in intervauls of 10 (110% 120% etc) instead of the random order of 100 110 150 200 300 500 1000 2000
-Make a setting for headshot resistance setting instead of immunity. (instakill, 5x, 4x, 3x, 2x, 1.5x, etc)
-Also make a setting to toggle separate vehicle health (like halo CE and Reach) or vehice health based on people in vehicle (like Halo 3)
-A BETTER setting to decide number/percent of zombies/humans, and maybe a rounding setting for percents if you want to be super accurate(ex 50% humans, round up)
-make a setting that decides the zombie for next round like halo 3 (chump winner random)
-make a species toggles setting (elites only, spartans only, both)
*perhaps also for infection a setting to force a race for zombies & humans (ex. zombies: always spartan humans:
always elite)
-A setting to toggle shield bleedthrough (bleedthrough is damage that surpasses shields, effects health.... It's in halo 3 and reach TU playlists)
-perhaps an infection gamemode called evacuation where you must reach a certain area/point(like a haven) by games end
-a setting for shield recharge and delay(though this wouldn't work in reach because these settings are race-specific... elites delay is less)
-If AA's are in, perhaps a recharge setting, and usage setting (ex 200% usage= 4 evades)
-bots for forge(yeah right lol)
-option to toggle sword-block/parry (some hate it, others like it... I like it for infection)
-option for reload speed(not sure about this though ha)
-More settings to alter team-specific traits (ex. defending team moves 90% speed) this would help with alot of gamemodes(not for slayer though, that would be cheap)
-Keep loadouts for custom please, and a setting to change the loadout-screen timer.
-Fall damage setting
-A VIP variant called rescue/hostage something (Captured VIP traits, rescued VIP traits, rescue timer & radius)
-A setting to make a vice-host(haha) in case the host leaves or lags, that person will be promoted
-The ability for people in the party to view, but not change the game settings, so they know what they are in for
-A setting to change damage while on foot & in vehicles
-Give party leader ability to decide teams I hate when people won't cooperate D:
-Settings for spectators(allow freecam, or just teamcam)
-Keep the promote to leader, and boot from party buttons separate!!! (or an "are you sure?" window for promoting)
-Allow custom powerup timer to be infinite (until death)
-Perhaps a tier related infection gamemode (things that activate tiers Ex. When 50% players infected start tier 2 or at 8 minutes start tier 2) and structures/weapons/loadouts that appear @ specific tiers like in invasion
-A setting for forge that only allows players specified by the host, or just the host, to go in forge-ball mode (deathabove1)
