Wow... what an idiot.

Boooo! Boooo! Nothing but spam! *heckles some more* Seriously though, that's an impressive number, and it looks like you'll be the first to reach 4,000 too. Congrats!

The real reason is that he cheats. On a serious note... question time! What was discovered in 1774 by Joseph Priestley, and how did he discover it?

Glad I could help! Of course, there are my blanks to deal with still, but they seem to be minor things, and then there are the few items with ?'s after them that I believe is what was said, but can't 100% confirm. I'm wondering if the second set of blanks is "Science" or something along those lines. I meant to take a look at breaking it apart last night, but completely forgot once I got home. I'll try to remember tonight, and in the meantime, if I find anything else out during the day, I'll edit the original post and put the new words in green. Edit: So yeah, don't know why I didn't do this yesterday, but downloaded the file and played it through Winamp, modifying the EQ settings until I could hear it a bit better, so that's how all the green is in the original post already. Still a few blanks, though.

You're talking about specific times, though. Honestly, when I was going for that achievement, I could have cared less about my legs being in the shot, and in fact, I didn't even noticed them until that video. Why do you need to see them? What purpose does seeing them serve? How does being able to see your legs/feet affect the gameplay?

So I just spent the last half an hour blasting the audio in my ears, trying to make everything out. Listening, rewinding, listening again. With all of the background noise, and no software at work to break it apart, it was fun. How often are you jumping off cliffs, really?
-
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you're looking at your feet while fighting, you're doing something wrong.
-
Or the second disc could be the whole of Forward Unto Dawn with the extended scenes they're talkinga about. *shrug* Just a thought.
-
This is actually a fairly common question that's been answered before, but I'll go for it again here. The Covenant are spread out throughout the galaxy, and maybe even beyond. There are a couple of opinions as to why the Covenant are a part of Halo 4. Opinion 1 is that they are a part of the Covenant that haven't learned of the Brute/Elite deal, and still believe that the Prophets are correct. Opinion 2 (and is more likely, in my mind), is that they are a rogue group of elites that don't wish to follow the Arbiter in his ploy to have peace between the races, and just happen to stumble upon the Forward Unto Dawn and Chief. We won't have a real answer until we play the game, though.

Can't be dates, we've already discussed that in another thread. If they are dates, the timelines don't make sense. And if they were dates, why were they appearing in the Terminals in CEA, and then the same date be appearing 5 years later?
-
We were discussing them there, because some of the artifacts had similar numbers in them. The fact that they're appearing again makes me believe there's more too them than we currently know. 343 is very frustrating, I want more information! Still, great find Choot.
-
So the numbers, 4657.04.21.21.34.56.... coincidence that Terminals 1, 4 & 9 from CEA all have the same last 5 sets of digits? Each of those terminals has the numbers 044657.04.21.21.34.56. The difference being in the first set of numbers. I don't know if they've ever been determined what they are. It's been assumed they are some sort of filing system, but who knows? *shrug* Edit: Changed first set of numbers to match, didn't look at the images, just followed cHeAse's numbers.

Question about friendly fire/betrayals/suiciders......
fzdw11 replied to DeadlyKlappy87's topic in Halo 4
But that's the problem, the system cannot determine between accidents and intentional. A betrayal is a betrayal. The problem right now isn't the system, the system in theory is great. The problem is players just booting for the fun of it. Which is why an auto-boot after two betrayals is the only way to take the control away from the players. -
Question about friendly fire/betrayals/suiciders......
fzdw11 replied to DeadlyKlappy87's topic in Halo 4
I like friendly fire being on, but maybe make it so friendly fire can only pop shields, and then you can't kill them. They'd still be in massive danger from an enemy shooting them, but a friendly rocket couldn't kill them outright. You're still taking a chance of somebody just picking them off in the aftermath of said rocket, and giving the other team kills because of it. I dunno. Like somebody above me said, the only time I betray is because a teammate runs infront of my vehicle or infront of my sniper shot, never intentional. If somebody get's to the sniper before me? So be it. If I get there before them and they kill me, without the option to boot? That just ticks me off, so I spend the few minutes of the match just popping their shields every chance I get, screw the game, let them betray me again so I can get the option to boot. The ideal solution is to keep friendly fire on, but add an auto boot function. Take it out of the players hands. 2 betrayals in a game and you get auto booted. I'd also say that it shouldn't be 2 betrayals per player, 2 betrayals period, per team. Right now, 9 times out of 10 when the option to boot appears, boot is always selected. Occasionally you'll get somebody like me, who actually looks at the situation in how I was betrayed, and then decide not to boot the player immediately. If I got run over by a vehicle coming around a corner? It was an accident, I'll forgive the player. -
Friends setting their xbox status to offline
fzdw11 replied to Lazmarr's topic in General Discussion
If I'm on and want to play alone or do something else, I set it to offline. For a game like Reach, I just set it so my party is invite only. Otherwise, I have a certain friend who always, without fail, joins my games, and it drives me crazy. -
The current rumors for the 1.8.2 update are late September or sometime in October, no sooner. You've gotta remember, we did get two "updates" in quick succession, but one was just a patch, the other a full blown update, and it was nearly 2 months after the game launched before we got it. At that rate, figure another minimum 2 months before the next full blown update comes. We may get another patch between now and then, however, to fix any other bug issues that may be around.

In an objective game, if that's all you do and don't play the objective? Yes, you can get banned for that.
-
O.o; I've gotten popular here all of the sudden? Interesting. I'm gonna say Zag!

Welcome back, Twilight. Hope to see you in the shoutbox soon!

We're not the official 343 site, just a community fan site, so unfortunately we cannot help with regards to the achievements, other than giving friendly advice. Currently, as far as I'm aware, there is no way to contact 343i directly, and thus you cannot open a ticket with them. XBox support should know this, and be willing to work with you on this matter.

*Mental note: vote in poll before or after replying, not in the middle* While I loved all three, I have to agree that The Dark Knight was the best. I was very unsure about Heath Ledger playing the Joker when it was first announced, but I fell in love with him, two thumbs up from me.

Well, they did make a comment that playlists will have default loadout choices, perhaps plasma pistol won't be available in BTB or vehicle heavy choices? That's my hope, at least.
-
This was possible in CE, it was called "Kill-In-Order" and it was a gametype my friends and I loved to play. On the radar, your target would appear white, while everyone else was the normal red, and you had to track them down. It didn't give you their target to kill next, I don't think, though I never delved into it that deeply to see if that was how it worked.

Definitely my first choice would be the BR, followed by the DMR or covenant carbine. The AR, meh. Sure, it's great in closer engagements, but I prefer to not let my enemy close in on me.
