Yes, I agree with Biggles. Halofest this year will be located somewhere in California, most likely Los Angeles. Maybe in addition to some Halo 4 information, they will also shed some light on the upcoming trilogy that Halo 4 is supposed to start. -MaGIIXz

I'm really on the border of thinking whether or not this is true. If he was telling you all of those things, they seems pretty reasonable and very plausible. I'm just not sure that a 343i staff member would be allowed to leak information to random people on the internet. He would be at risk of losing his job if word got out that he was leaking bits and pieces of information to you. That is why this all seems so highly unlikely that he is in fact an "Inside man". -MaGIIXz

Well, I have read that there are also going to be customizable classes in Halo 4. Not anything major like being able to choose a power weapon of the spawn, but a BR instead of a DMR, or something like that. I think that this will be a pretty cool addition to the Halo series as now, players do not have to run after their AR or BR or DMR, and they can just spawn in with it. A thing that I don't like is the Halo 4 power weapon spawning system. I think that shooting them down from drop pods and having them land anywhere on the map is a bad idea. This will ruin the flow of the game, and the tides in a game can change as quickly as me saying "Pickles". Weapon timing is also a crucial thing that separates great Halo players from, not so great Halo players. Although I haven't actually seen this system in play yet, I am not completely sure that it has been confirmed by 343i. -MaGIIXz

I waste ammunition, spam all armour abilities, toss grenades without looking, use weapons of mass destruction without checking areas, and attack ALL areas by myself. Am I hired? -MaGIIXz

It seems like a cool enough idea, even though I don't really play much firefight or infection. I would think that this is kind of following in the footsteps of Treyarch's zombie mode, and that Halo should just stick to dedicated firefight with some minor tweaks. Instead of having a dedicated "flood-fight" mode maybe just incorporate the flood into a couple waves of real firefight? -MaGIIXz

I only wish, I'd ever been to HaloFest. Hopefully I'll make it out sometime when they announce Halo 5, as I have always been so busy around that time. I also wish that I could have a Halo costume, it would be just purely amazing. I would just wear outside for Halloween, I'd wear it everywhere. "Honey, can you go out and buy groceries?", would not be so boring anymore. I could do it in my Master Chief costume, and whenever somebody gives me a weird look, I would just stare them down through the visor. -MaGIIXz

This is a good thread explaining all of the angles that community members have on the general Halo series. I agree with you that 343i should be taking into account still updating and making Halo: Reach better. An interesting thing that a member discussed in the shoutbox was that 343i was making Halo: Reach look bad so that Halo 4 can look good. It seems like a very false situation, but on the other hand, it could be true. Just something to think about. -MaGIIXz

Oh Halo, the game that packed the largest punch, stayed in our hearts, remembered us of our younger days, a foundation of our childhood. Yes, this game... This amazing game, that brought together such a wonderful community. I have to say Twin, this has been the ONLY thread on here that has properly, and professionally explained the issue with this broken community in such a sophisticated manner. You put this incredibly well, Halo was once a foundation for gaming everywhere. Halo 2 was the cornerstone of the gaming industry at it's hay day and NO OTHER GAME could even compare to it. The Halo series had the best community in the world! They were kind, friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, and offered so much support in every way. Today, most of that has fallen apart and the community and the game are starting to crumble and get swapped under the rug by other games. I agree Halo: Reach needs better top medals, I would say that killing sprees are pretty popular among many different playlists. However, I would say otherwise for the "Perfection" medal, I would say that they are very rare, but whenever I get them they do not show up in the top medals. Also, for your opinion on the "First Strike" medal, I would say that it should not be a medal shown in the top medals section, but it should be just default. Right before the top medals post-game portion, there should be something that says, (for example), First Strike: xPrO o MaGIIXz (me). -MaGIIXz

I don't think that the playtime that you were looking at accounted for all aspects of the game. Maybe they just played a lot of campaign and firefight, and not as much matchmaking. There is also no Halo: Reach cheaters, and definitely not a bug. -MaGIIXz

Twin, that is a very interesting point. I'm starting to see a trend in members saying that the DMR will in fact be a long range weapon and the the BR would stick to close. Making the BR a single shot in matchmaking would be great for BR users, it would be a great all around weapon. A couple shots then a melee at close range. A couple shots to the head at medium range, and for long range a single shot. -MaGIIXz
