  1. Wow, thanks for the information. I'm actually looking forward to the customization option, i'm just afraid that if you are allowed to choose your primary (AR, BR, or DMR). However game modes like Team BR's or Team DMR's can now be eliminated and Team Slayer will be the only option with everybody using what they want. Anyways, thanks for the helpful information. -MaGIIXz
  2. LOL, this was super funny , pretty disturbing at some parts though. If this is how they reacted to Halo: Reach, just imagine what they'll do for Halo 4. *Shivers* -MaGIIXz
  3. I don't think that the Halo 3 Assault Rifle will be back, even though it wins my vote. Regardless, 343i is coming at Halo 4 with similar graphics as Halo: Reach (maybe tweaked a little bit), and will probably use something that looks like the Reach assault rifle over the Halo 3 look. Let's take into example the Halo: Reach Battle Rifle, it has already been announced and pictures have been released. Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't it look like it has a Halo: Reach skin? It reminds me of the Reach assault rifle because of it's mount on the top. It looks "holographicy", just like the mount on the Reach assault rifle that displays ammo on the blue screen with white writing. -MaGIIXz
  4. I understand that BPR or "Battle Proficiency Rating, is a system used to calculate a players skill from the number 1 to 100. My first question is, does having a one-hundred mean that you are very skilled or not skilled at all? (If 100 is the best then woo-hoo!). Secondly, how exactly is this calculated? I don't really understand where this comes from, does it take into consideration Kill/Death ratio and Win/Loss ratios? Thanks for the help, -MaGIIXz
  5. Spartan, please refrain from posting something that has already been posted bye other users multiple times. As you can see, I have edited it and hope to see some new suggestions. Not to be rude, but I'm just pointing out that you should stick to quality and original posts instead of copying and pasting. Anyways, Welcome to this great forum Spartan! , thanks for the feedback everyone else. I think while I was writing my idea I was not really thinking deeply about how 10 betrayals would impact your team so negatively, now, I face palmed that I actually said ten. -MaGIIXz
  6. Welcome to the forums Destroyer. Your problem is most likely occuring because you have left too many games and have been banned for a temporary/short amount of time. If this is your first offence then this would only last for five minutes, not a very big deal. Just try to not leave so many games in the future . -MaGIIXz
  7. I agree with you, I feel that the maps remind me of previous Halos, (which is good). I liked the ability to move around with a very agile pace, and these maps look like they will allow you to do so. As 343i have said, Halo 4 is aiming to be a fast-paced game and I would like that. Paired up with some great graphics and map design, I think Halo 4 will dominate! -MaGIIXz
  8. That is a great map, I've played it and it is very smooth going and easy to move around. Great map Flawless! -MaGIIXz
  9. Err, sorry. I broke the scale ZB . What is your favorite play list in Halo: Reach?
  10. Wow, I'm pretty astonished how good your signatures look. Great job, you have quite the talent for GFX, I hope you continue to produce these quality pictures. Keep it up! -MaGIIXz
  11. I think that the current doubles playlist is based on how comfortable you are with the title update. Some players may find it great, others not so much. I think that doubles offers a competitive level that is solely based on how you work with your team mate and how compatible you guys are. If you really want a very competitive playlist with Zero Bloom, I suggest trying to play some MLG with three other people that you know you can work well with. I think that there is only a very slim chance that 343i will introduce Zero Bloom game types to more play lists, but who knows? I would enjoy it for sure. -MaGIIXz
  12. No I do not. What is your favorite Nintendo 64 game?
  13. A Possible Solution to the "unfair", Halo: Reach Booting System. (Before I go into depth explaining the possible solution that I have thought about I would like to say that it is only my personal opinion, that is backed up by what I have heard other players commentate about. Feel free to post any additions or any constructive criticism). For example: The system in Halo: Reach is a tad bit random. Many people have said they have gotten betrayed twice, then they go to betray the guy who killed them out of sheer frustration and get booted. This is just a mere example as to why people think that the booting system in Halo: Reach is at times unfair. I don't think that 343i will be introducing a new update to Halo: Reach to fix this problem, as they are already using Bungie's booting system for Reach, and are in the process of producing Halo 4. So far, this problem seems a little out of hand to some players desperately looking to 343i to answer their cry for help for a better booting system. I find this to be the case because there is no artificial intelligence to monitor the game and see if a betrayal was accidental or not. Now, I think that we are definitely far from having artificial intelligence monitor all of our games ... Never the less, I find the system to be at times, indeed, unfair. I think a possible solution here is present. Having a system like Battlefield 3 (but tweaked just a little bit), where players have the option to "forgive", or "punish". Please forgive the idea of Halo following another game, but I think that this is a very plausible solution at hand. I think that in order for players to be booted from a game, they should have the whole team vote either forgive, or punish. This allows some more leeway for an accidental betrayal so if the team mate that you killed by accident decides to be irrational and boot you for an accidental kill, he/she no longer has the power to do so, now the whole team has a say in whether or not your betrayal seems fit for a kick, or a forgive. I can see some problems occurring with this, like people abusing the system to their advantage so they can betray somebody over and over again without getting kicked but I think maybe a limit of say 10 kills should be implemented, (let's be realistic, who has ever gotten 10 accidental betrayals in a game?). Other problems like that might arise, but I still have great faith in the Halo community and I see problems like that to be very minuscule, because of all the rational and sensible Halo players out there. Anyways, thanks for listening to me blabber on about this whole topic. Please feel free to share your opinions and ideas with me. Thanks, -MaGIIXz Edit: Okay, Definitely three betrayals would be enough for the game to boot you. Thanks for the feedback guys!
  14. I agree with both your points, but mainly 343i bringing back the "party-up", option. I have made a ton of good friends and teamates with that system. I'm not really sure what you mean by "perma-mute", I don't think I've ever seen something like that. Does it mean if you talk too much you just get muted and other players can't hear you? Thanks, -MaGIIXz
  15. If you are looking for your stats on an official Halo website then Luke has pointed you in the right direction. Otherwise if you are trying to find out how to check your stats on this forum then I can help . First you will need to link your gamertag to your forum account. In the top-right hand corner of your screen click your name and then click "My Settings", then scroll down to gamertag and input yours in. After doing all of that head over to the tab beside shoutbox that says "Halo: Reach Stats". Now you can click that and find out all of your stats by browsing around that section of this site. Enjoy! -MaGIIXz
  16. I personally love the sniper. Just a great all around weapon in Halo: Reach, easy to use and if you are efficient with it, it boosts your team's score. -MaGIIXz
  17. LOL, I can't stop laughing. Now I wish that 343i would actually do this... Nice find. -MaGIIXz
  18. First of all, I would just like to point out when creating a new topic, please try top use proper spelling and grammar. Also, the fact that you made every single word bold is a bit of an eyesore. For the most part your idea is creative and could make a nice addition to the game, however if you're trying to get people to play the game as a team and work together to win, I would simply recommend the Halo 3 system. Winning = Getting Exp / Losing = Receiving no Exp, this system in my opinion gets people to play much more competitively. I like your idea for the fact that winning consistently allows you to gain even more Exp for winning, so furthermore taking the game to an even higher level because players would not like to lose their winning streak. Also, i'm not sure if you know this or not, but this is not a forum owned by 343 industries, this is a community forum that 343 industry employees sometimes check, so your idea might not be noticed as much as it would be on the Waypoint forums. Great thinking, -MaGIIXz
  19. Hmm, seems like a cool little "show". After watching the two clips I can say that it is pretty well done, and i'm pretty impressed. I think that this show has a lot of potential and with more funding it would become very popular. However I don't think that the show can survive on only fan-based donations, they will need to push this even farther to earn sponsors to publicize this. For now, I would enjoy more segments of this and hope to see it grow. -MaGIIXz
  20. I'm not quite sure where you heard this from, and i'm 99% sure that you will not be able to customize your load out it Halo 4. If anything the load outs will be armor abilities just like in Halo: Reach, and if not, they will be like they were in the previous Halos (Halo CE, 2, 3). I agree with you that Halo started to follow CoD, but only a little bit. The ranking system in Reach is the only thing that resembles CoD in a very direct way. I also agree that Halo should stay separate from all other games out there. -MaGIIXz
  21. It would be a bit overpowered just as mentioned before. Especially what Luke pointed out, a whole team using that same AA would be scary. I think that if there was an AA similar to that, for example the same thing that you suggested, but instead of actually dealing damage to the enemy, they just acted as decoys. -MaGIIXz
  22. This was a great April Fools day! This forum is just incredible, and I hope it does stay that way. Thanks for the laughs, -MaGIIXz
  23. Great first introduction post, very informative and fun to read. Welcome to the 343i community, and even though I haven't been here for as long as some of the other members, I think you will find this forum to be a great place. -MaGIIXz
  24. Mainly expect to see most of the play lists that we have seen so far. Also, I would like to see a playlist more lone wolves oriented than rumble pit. I guess you could say more of a "MLG" oriented FFA play list. -MaGIIXz
