I would like to add and suggest, a DLC playdate, with the point being that we play only DLC maps. If we have enough members, we could go into mm and therefore have a much higher chance of playing a DLC map and the chance to earn achievements on them.

Well, you might just want to use a premade gametype by other forgers. I assume you just want one Slender at any time, and only the one appointed at the beginning of the round. In order to do that, keep flood lives at 1. That way, the humans will not respawn as flood and will have to watch the cameras of other players. Here is an early Halo 4 version of Slender, this may be what you are looking for. The gametype and map are in the description:

Armor abilities have been confirmed not to be in Halo 5: Guardians. However, there will be new Spartan abilities, like hijacking vehicles etc. (This is all in the words of Frank O'Connor at E3). It will be interesting to see what they have in store for us.

Some ideas of my own: Invasion mate! Forge contest with showcase event (Hint: this is a great one!) League of Legends (Computer, but free to play) Age of Empires 2 with expansions (about $10 total at Target/Walmart, new HD version on Steam for $20) I would not recommend using the Steam variant though, as you have to pay for certain major fanmade DLC ($10 where it would be normally free).

It has been over a year since the last thread, and I feel this needs to be something that is constantly being updated. The staff are doing a great job of coming up with ideas and so is the community, but many of the member hosted events are having only reasonable success.
