  1. What if Steve Jobs rose from the grave and bought Halo? Oh wait, we'd have to wait for the second of his Halo's to get a good game.
  2. A couple of months ago 343i announced there were no plans for a second season of Spartan Ops. Based on the end of the first season, I don't think a second will arise, as it sets up perfectly for Halo 5. With Requiem gone, it would be hard to make a second season. However, 343i also didn't plan on making more map packs and other things, so, there is a possibility of a second season, however, I believe that if there is one, the events wouldn't be as pivotal as the first season. I think the missions would be more random like the first couple in season 1.
  3. Hey, when is shooting of this going to start? I can't wait to see this all put together.

    Help?

Although I'm not the best Halo MLG player, I do know some simple things that can make you better, without playing anyone. The key is practice, and knowing more than your opponents. Know the game: 1. Load up the gametype and play with your friends on the maps. Look at all of the settings for the gametype. 2. Figure out some basic strategies for each map and gametype. 3. Loom around for strafing tips, aiming, and movement. 4. Learn how spawns work, and the spawn system. 5. Watch some Nak3d Eli's "Breaking Halo," as he goes through many secrets about the game, and some basic things to consider while playing. He will reinterate most of this, but you must also go in and play with the stuff yourself. Know the maps: 1. Walk through each map on you on, playing the gametype. Learn shortcuts, tac jumps, lines of sight, weapon placements. Learn common spots for grenade throws, and practice them. 2. Go into forge and know the spawn times of all weapons, look for kill zones, and the spawn system. 3. Develop and learn call outs. 4. If you can, find an outline of the map, and just sketch out shortcuts and weapons. You can learn and memorize maps very easily this way. Know your teammates and opponents: 1. Just look at other players during the game, and look at old films. You can learn their mindsets and strategies, their knowledge of maps, and their playstyle. You pick up things you have missed and may learn of good ways to do things differently. 2. Play with the same people frequently. If you have a team, its much easier to do well and develop a good team strategy. 3. If you end up facing a clan or someone who posts footage online, watch it, and pick apart their playstyle.
  5. Well, I'm back from a week of sailing, camping, and playing with bears. Great week, and I come home to find WoT Beta invite and new Halo content.

  6. Basicallly the point of this game is to come up with crazy events that members of the forum would do, and how it would change the forums: If Azaxx died, the shoutbox would either die, or his spirit would take over 343ibot.
  7. Pope John Paul II is going to become a saint.

  8. Clarifying Question: So you are forging ahead with forging an updated forge section?
  9. Play Halo 3 actively on mm for about a month or so, then it activates

  12. Alright, I updated post 66 to show that I had killed Pluton, (because I damaged him, then he killed himself). Sikslik7 spawned in the water, almost choking as sea water swept him onto the beach. His side still ached from where he had been stabbed in his last life, but the pain was fading. He jogged up a hill to find Spark directly below him, running along some rocks, but unaware of Sikslik7. Sikslik7 jumped, pushed off a tree and landed on top of Spark, who tried to push him off, but couldn't. With a pistol whip across the helmet, Spark was dazed, and Sikslik7 drove his dagger up through Spark's jaw. Spark began to fade. "You're on the wrong team this time buddy," noted Sikslik7. He turned and began to follow the rocks close to the shore, and suddenly, the edge dropped straight into the water, bu Sikslik7 kept going and found a nice place in the rocks to lie in wait. Sikslik7 kills Spark- Red Team 1
  13. I don't think it was a random elite, but Des', thus the communication after wards "Des' where are you" from the other end of the communicator taken off the elite.

  15. one of my friends uses microsoft's expression encoder 4. There are videos out there showing how to do it as well. Most of Microsoft's programs for pc are free.
  16. Today I listened to "Cruise," while cruising in a Chevy Cruise with my cousin and my brothers. Very fun.

  17. Alright, I'll try to get on and help you within an hour or so.
  18. "Hmm, our team seems to be at each other's throats, but at least we're winning," noted Sikslik7 to Jacob as they scouted the island, with Jacob teleporting forwards and behind wherever they believed that an ambush or another angle of sight was needed. Jacob nodded, and paused, pointing to the top of a rock hill. There, a brute stood, rocks in hand, obviously waiting for someone to challenge him on his own terms. "I'll sneak up behind and you keep him busy," asked Sikslik7. Jacob took a step and teleported in viewing the Brute, who yelled out a profanity of some sort. Pluton Began to throw rocks at Jacob, who would teleport out of the way at the last second. "Yep, definitely our old brute friend, but alone for once." Circling behind the brute, Sikslik7 slowly climbed the rock face, Sometimes bouldering, other times going straight up, but always making sure that he was not in view of the brute. Finally he reached the flat edge slightly lower than the brute, picked up a small stone, and threw it at the back of the brute's head. The brute turned, with a huge rock raised above his head in two hands, and was about to throw it at Sikslik7. Sikslik7 pulled up his Magnum and shot the brute in one of his wrists, who dropped the rock dud to the pain into his own head. The brute fell over, and lay still. Sikslik7 checked his pluse, none, but suddenly the body began to fade. "What is happening here?" "I don't know, but it happened earlier to the one I got too," replied Jacob, "maybe when we die we respawn somehow." "That wouldn't the be the only odd thing that happened today," said Sikslik7, nodding and remembering the giant bird earlier that had come down in the forest, "and I don't think it will be the last." Also, for those who don't know, this is my special ability that I earned: Flux Capacitor: Ie the thing used in Back to the Future to travel back and forth in time. Basically I am able to, once per round, rewrite the person's post above mine, so it would change the events to something else. For example, if someone's post was about them smashing my skull in, or sneaking up and knocking me out, I could rewrite and alter the event so that I would win the combat. But I have to use it directly under that post, so if someone else got a post in before that, the first post is safe from my ability. In order to use the ability, I start my post with something tk the effect of, "Sikslik7 uses his ability to go backing time and alters the events of the above post" in big bold letters. Edit: Sikslik7 kills Pluton- Red team 1
  19. Halo 4 right? So, here's what you do: Load you map up in forge, but with the CTF gametype, not basic editing. Forge the available flag as normal, and put the team as Defender Then, where you want the flag to be brought to to score a point, you need some sort of box. This box can be under, over, or next to the place you want the other flag returned to. This box is where you set up the flag that can not be touched. Label the same as the other flag, but use team as Attacker. Put a 1x1 block under this flag stand to catch the flag when it spawns. Put the area for the flag somewhere so that someone not in the box can score a flag, leaning towards the side you want to return the flag at. If you need help, I can be available tonight, and I'll try to find a video of what I'm talking about. Edit: here's the video:
  20. Sikslik7 looked up, seeing the two armies going to fight each other, and his team's flag in the clutch of the covies only a few feet away. He twisted in the grip of the two brutes that were holding him, enough to break free and grab a spike grenade from one of their belts. He activated it and threw it onto his flag, which exploded, knocking the flag from the Jackal's grip and off the tower. "Bass now!" Sikslik7 shouted through his communicator. A resounding voice boomed through the forest, "Blue team lost Red team's flag, Red team scored blue team's flag." "A bit of reversal, right?" Sikslik7 was able to get out before being tossed from the tower by the brutes. Also, on a side note: In objective games, is it fair for in one post for a player to not only retrieve an objective from one base and deliver it to their own? Otherwise my team would be at like 5 flags by now.
  21. "Taste Flagnum Brute!," yelled sikslik7 as he thrust the flag through a a brute's skull. He found a stair case and became to descend as a figure emerged from behind him. He turns, swinging the flag over his shoulder and knocks the figure down, "Bass? What are you doing?" "I'm getting the flag, but I guess you already have it," Bass replied, getting to his feet. "Need me to get a vehicle?" "Nah, they don't have anything that can seat two and a flag, but there is something you can do so we can get the flag out of here." A few minutes later, after discussing the idea, Bass nodded one last time and wished Sikslik7 luck. Sikslik7 turned, and ran down the stairs, into the main atrium and outside. he turns around part of the tower to find a group of Elites and Brutes, with multiple wraiths. They turn and raise their weapons, too many for Sikslik7 to handle. "Surrender, or die human," one smelly brute demands. "Alright, fine, I surrender," replies Sikslik7 cooly. "Where's our flag?" "Gone," replies Sikslik7 with a grin. And good luck Bass.
  22. Well, the names of the fireteams were designed first, and in the tradition of map packs for Halo, they are named after something in the game.
  23. From his vantage point on the hill, Sikslik7 grinned as he watched three figures fall from Red Base and into the river. "like we'd just let them use a grav lift to the top of our base. I hope they liked the sewer pipe." He turned, laughing, and then got serious. "Now, for phase two." He set off at a brisk jog, slowly circling around blue base until he found it, the sewer pipe. "they may have left through ours, but I'll enter through theirs," He climbed through grim, and things best left unsaid. Even the filter on his helmet failed, and he had half the mind to turn back. "Next time, I'm giving them a shower, all of them. But at least, I'll smell like them." Finally the pipe became split, one path continuing forward, the other going up vertically. Sikslik7 started to climb, thankfull that the pipe's walls weren't coated with unmentionables. After a few minutes of climbing, he found a access hatch, and unable to stand the stench any longer, he opened in and spilled into the floor on the other side. He looked around, finding himself in some sort of utility room, and seeing no brutes, he crouched, and pulled up his battle rifle. He opened the door and looked into the room beyond. One brute standing with his back to Sikslik7, who sneaks up and beats him over the head with his battle rifle. Sikslik7 then got his bearings. He was somewhere above the main atrium of the tower, but under the flag. He found a staircase and slowly moved upward, He reached the top of the tower to find four elites standing around the flag. He rolls a Frag grenade towards their feet and runs into the open, BR firing. The grenade explodes, removing all the elite's shields and knocking two on their backs. The third stumbles as he tries to pick up his storm rifle, but the fourth pulls his sword out, only to be taken out with a burst from Sikslik7's BR. One elite picks up his storm rifle, only for it to be kicked from his hands and put down with a magnum round. The other two elites have regained their feet and pull up their storm rifles, but Sikslik7 plows into one. They tussel, but Sikslik7 mananges to fire the storm rifle at the other elite, but is pulled down. The final elite gets on top of Sikslik7, and activates his personal energy knife, but when he does, he shifts his weight, allowing Sikslik7 to pull the elite over him, and over the edge of tower. Getting to his feet, all he hears in "wort wort!" and a thud from below. "Time to be gone," said Sikslik7 as he reached for the blue flag. He grabs the flag and hears an announcer yell across the forest "Blue team flag taken."
