for the love of god this. the numerical ranking system was soooo awesome. it was so rewarding to rank up. now its just like meh i guess i have to play like 50 more games to rank up. sweet. i know some people just want fun and no competition but a HUGE portion of halo fans really do want to amp up the competition, and this is the most key attribute that made halo 2 and 3 so addictive for us. even if the rankings only show up in certain more competitive playlists, it would be a large oversight to completely leave out real rankings that actually mean something.
