Alright, explanation time. This idea has been suggested to me several times by numerous members in the past, so I'm finally going to give it a try. This poll's job is to shorten the number of candidates down to only two. After that, they'll campaign for the rest of the time, or at least that's the plan, until Sunday, when the final poll beings. This may or may not happen with. This is just a test run.

Okay, nomination period is over now. I'm going to assume that the Drizzy's are for Drizzy_Dan in the end, if not, please PM me about it or something. Anyway, adding him to the list now, the final candidate in the running for the USF Presidency! Let the campaigning....begin!

NOTE: THIS IS PURELY FOR FUN AND IN NO WAY DO YOU GAIN ANY REAL RANKING OR POWER IN THE COMMUNITY. NOT OFFICIALLY ANYWAY. Alright boys and girls, it's that time again. It's time to give the current presidents the boot and get a new one, or two possibly. To those who are new to this, I have a presidential election for the forum every 4 months on the dot. Okay, more or less. Election day is always on the dot though. I know that one for a fact. Anyway, I started this a while back, it's a fun little game on the forum. I attempt to run these things as independently of the moderators and other staff as possible, since this is unofficial. There are rules to be followed and if you choose to not follow them, a request will be made to have your post removed from this and all election related threads and you will be bared from future elections. Seems fair, right? Okay, here's the important part right here. The rules. First, before I list them, all rules and they're meaning as to whether or not one was broken will ultimately be decided by me. I'm a merciful behind the scenes ruler though, so I'll give warnings if I don't think it's a bad breach. (Also, RedStarRocket has the right to change the rules) THE RULES: 1. In order to participate you must get two nominations. 2. You cannot nominate yourself. 3. You can only nominate ONE member. 4. All nominations must be made in this thread. 5. All candidates have the right to a manager and to campaign on the forum in the offbeat section. 6. Absolutely ALL advertisement of any kind for any candidate is strictly prohibited from the main thread. (this one) 7. Moderators are not allowed to run for president unless they have been a president in the past. 8. Every past president has the right to be re-elected if they get nominated. 9. READ ALL POSTS MADE IN THE THREAD BEFORE YOU NOMINATE SOMEONE! 10. If someone already has two nominations, you can't nominate them. 11. No being a jerk to others in any way, even a joking manner. It hurts and offends others. So don't do it. 12. A candidate that has received two nominations can withdraw from the race at any time. 13. A candidate who has withdrawn from the race can join back any time before the end of the nomination period. 14. You must have fun at all times during the next two weeks. After that the campaigning will begin for four days. You are free to campaign from the moment you are nominated fully. After the four days, it gets interesting. Have fun everyone. :3

Zaguroth, I know you're only leaving for a short amount of time, but you're still a dear friend who will be missed all the while he is gone. You were one of my firsts friends here, and I hope you stay my friend for a long time, even after the forum comes to an end in the distant years. I know life has a way of getting in the way of things you enjoy or like to do, but don't be a stranger please. If by some chance you can access Wi-Fi with your phone, or go to Starbucks or Forge Cafe, please, don't hesitate to hope on and say hey. I will personally miss you for more than one or two reasons. You're a friend Zag, not a virtual one that I say hi to and then forget during my time offline, a real one. One that I enjoy talking to about what ever comes to mind. You have supported my ideas on the forum since I got here and I can honestly say that as a member I wouldn't be were I am today if you hadn't been nice enough to me my first few days here. So hurry up and fix your life Zag, because now I've decided. I won't miss you while you're gone, I'll merely await your return as impatiently as a child awaits Christmas day on Christmas Eve. Nope, in my mind I am of the average purple. I blame the USF and the laziness of our staff for not looking for and finding a more suitable MoM. :3

Okay, so I've been kicking this around for a few days now trying to get this written, and I've finally decided to sit down and do it. So, I apologize if it is of lesser quality than the average MoM post. Anyway, let's get this done. I started out like every member here, googled 343industries, found the Forum, and signed up thinking it was the official site. Luckily, I decided to stay even after finding out it wasn't. I don't want to bore you all with how I got to where I am now, so instead I'll tell you who's fault it is. If you want to blame some one, I have a few people. These are people who have kept me coming back again and again, and no it's not some huge list, it's simply two main people. Zelda and Azaxx. I thank you both for being such good friends for my entire stay on the forums and I hope we remain friends for as long as this wonderful place exists. I guess I should talk about what earned me MoM in the first place: the USF Elections. It started as a one time thing, just a little playful thing I did when I was a new member, trying to get a name for myself around the forum and make some friends. Yes, I will admit, at the time it was an attempt to win the favor of the mods and hopefully become staff somehow, but after receiving so much positive feedback on it, I decided to do it again after four months. What many members don't know though, is that the second election was almost the last. There was way too much going on with it, people were getting others to make accounts, vote, then never come on again, and it was all around too much fighting and it really killed the whole point of the elections in general. So be glad that Cooliest convinced me to keep it going after that. (Thanks by the way, never did thank you for it.) After that the third and fourth elections went by smoothly, but then the interesting one happened. The fifth election was the most interesting because it was the first time Azaxx chose to remain in the running, and as we all saw it coming, he won the election. Anyway, now soon after the 6th election, we have BZ and Vitamin as our presidents and I'm currently planning the next election, which will hopefully be more organized. :3 Anyway, to wrap up my MoM post that really doesn't seem all that great to me right now at 2:30 AM, I'd like to specifically say thank you to Twam, because, I don't think enough members really appreciate how he keeps this place going, and if it weren't for him, I wouldn't even be typing this right now. So thank you Twam, thank you for our beloved Forum where we gather and make jokes, and argue, and make up, and make friends and laugh together. Thank you for giving us all a second home and a second family.

Well, it had to be said, and I guess I'm glad it was said by someone I consider a close friend. Thanks Azaxx, a whole new way to look at the MoM.
