    People need to get more involved in the introductions / goodbyes I feel I'm the only one there sometimes :(

      True, I have been buy and ndglected the area. It really does make a new member feel welcome and good about the site.

      I concur. Also I think people should try to welcome new members when the 343ibot pops up in the shoutbox. That is the first thing new members see and should help to make them feel welcome.
