  1. I once had a kid challenge me to a 1v1 after an infection game. Haven't played much Halo since.
  2. If you want a high end headset and are going to play pretty seriously, go for the a50s. If you're just going to play casually you should probably consider a lower end headset.
  3. No money, then? I'm afraid I have to tell the mods. I don't know what kind of fine is given to a crime like this, but you better hope it's a small one. May Twam have mercy on your account.
  4. You've violated the rules. Pay the mods a math problem or serve your sentence! 4 + 4 - 9 x 0 = ? pic unrelated
  5. I haven't heard this joke in months, I don't know why you felt the need to make this thread. But if you frequent any part of the internet where you regularly see this joke, I suggest you leave and stop going there.
  6. I'm not gonna sit on the sidelines and watch the Men in Red take over this great country. Sign me up.
  7. I know this is done in Counter Strike, I think it would be worth implementing to see how well it worked. To the Director, if you just had your teammates with high BPRs leave, the game wouldn't give you bots that were ungodly in comparison to your friends, it would defeat the purpose of your friends leaving. And if you signed in guests and signed them out mid-game, even if you weren't kicked out of the game, you would still have been matched up against players with BPRs at the same level as the gamertags you signed out. But I am quite skeptical of this as well, so if they did put this in the game, I would think that they should probably make a separate playlist for it, and maybe adding it to other playlists later on if it proved successful. I would also like to see a gametype similar to Black Ops' Combat Training, where you can play against bots. I think it could be great for warming up. Just realized Absolute Dog said the same thing, I'm still leaving it in my post though.
  8. Either tag or hide-and-go-seek. Can't remember.
  9. As my father used to say, brevity is the key to wit. Please try to keep your posts a bit shorter and much more to the point. I don't know what compelled you to share with us your definition of skill or what you tried to prove, but I would have to disagree with you about armor abilities. Particularly armor lock, but I think the idea of AAs in general is a bad idea, even though this has been argued over and over again, I'd just like to add my two cents. A huge part of being successful in Halo is knowing what to do in certain situations. If someone has rockets, you distance yourself from them because they aren't a long range weapon and the person carrying them is unable to use them at a distance. If you push someone with rockets, you die. Armor lock lets you make mistakes and get away scot-free. It's a crutch. If someone is beating you in a gunfight, you can sprint away one shot. Without armor abilities people are punished for their mistakes, as they should be. They cater to lower level players, and maybe that's a good thing in social, but don't ever try to tell me that they add "skill." Just because something makes you change your line of thinking doesn't necessarily mean it makes you grow from it.
  10. I really didn't think Skyrim's story was that great, the game was just fun. and, also, this: But I would have to disagree with you about Skyrim being awful. It was my least favorite of the Elder Scrolls, but it was still pretty good.
  11. I'm interested. I have four controllers. Send me a message sometime, I don't think I have any of those achievements, I don't play much Anniversary. My GT: Count Quacula
  12. In juxtaposition to RedStarRocket91, I believe downloading the game to your hard drive would solve your problem. My understanding is that downloading it to your hard drive puts all of the disc's information on the drive and all the disc is needed for is to verify the game or something. I had the same problem when I first got my copy of Bad Company 2 a good while ago. The game would only read every now and then, and when I finally got it to read, I downloaded it to my hard drive and never had the problem again. I could always be wrong though. It's worth a try. Unless you're having this problem with other games, in that case, your disc-tray is probably damaged.
  13. Lots of really good ideas in this thread. I'm a man of simple tastes. I want to be able to place a forklift that I could drive, keep me entertained for hours.
  14. I've heard a decent amount about this. Is there any evidence to support this theory?
  15. No, person two loses money. He has to pay $30 in addition to the 20 he put in the box.
  16. Really enjoyed it, much more than the other films in the series.
  17. We can't really be surprised. While Halo played a large role in creating MLG, they loose money holding tournaments for it. Reach was unpopular and it wasn't earning them much of a profit keeping it at events. All we can do is hope Halo 4 is good and has a strong following, good enough that a large amount of people that left Halo because of their disappointment in Reach come back. Fingers crossed for Halo 4 and 343i.
  18. Maybe I can revive this thread, Spaghettification is the word used to describe the process of dying in a black hole.
  19. I have a ton of these. If anyone's interested, I'll dump 'em and if they can't be read I'll write them out.
