  1. This is so troubling. So many great people leaving the forums. SJ you will be missed and your return will be closely awaited.
  2. To put it simply... If you were in a match and you got to choose between the Sniper Rifle, the Beam Rifle, and the Binary Rifle in your ordinance drop, which one do you think you would pick? For me it has to be the Binary Rifle. I love that it can kill in one-body shot instead of one head shot or two body shots. At the same time it is balanced by the beam that it produces when scoped in and a lower number of shots before needing to be reloaded. This gun is perfect in that it allows you to trade the element of surprise and alerting enemies to your position in exchange for not needing to have as good of accuracy to kill someone.
  3. There are 435 nuclear power plants world-wide in over 35 different countries. There have been 3 mishaps over the years. One was Three Mile Island where the safety measures came into effect and prevented any loss of life whatsoever (exactly as they are supposed to). Another was Chernobyl which was an innevitable result of bad managment, design, and secrecy at the hands of a communist government with no regard for human life or safety. Another was ***ushima in Japan which was a tragedy, and the most important to the anti-nuclear energy argument, but it could have likely been prevented had the NISA realized the threat of a large tsunami sticking. (considering the region they are in they should have) As of the possibility of a nuclear reactor exploding I will simply state that that is not possible. I don't care to list all the facts behind this justification but I will leave a link at the bottom of this post to a site that explains it perfectly. Most people hear meltdown and they think explosion. That is simply not the case. In all regards Meltdowns, given the correct safety measures, are far more controllable and stoppable. http://io9.com/5782349/why-a-nuclear-reactor-will-never-become-a-bomb

      Congratulations SweatyBagels.

  5. Actually you can't. For some reason 343i left that feature our of Halo 4.
  6. I'm posting this for the express purpose of lowering another one

  7. No I mean that there aren't as many spray and pray players in Halo 4 and the population of this playlist would not likely be able to surpass MLG or Team Slayer Pro. It's not an opinion... it's an educated guess.
  8. He's completely right though. Not to say we could have one in each of our homes but nuclear energy would probably be our best option right now. That is until they develop a clean energy source that is economically feasible and plentiful. Which in all reality probably hasn't been developed yet.
  9. The design of the covenant is fine, at least in my eyes, but I feel like the funny ramblings of the Elites and Grunts is a must for Halo 5. They tried differing paths in Halo 4 and it stuck out like a sore thumb. Halo 5 needs to bring this feature back.
  10. There aren't and it wouldn't.
  11. I literally agreed with every single thing that you just listed. Perhaps they could bring the SMG back as a loadout gun and make it able to be duel wielded by finding another one somewhere on the battlefield.
  12. They probably won't ban any body for this over the course of the game... but just the threat of doing it will have an impact on people.
  13. SweatyBagles Tips To Being Successful With The BR: 1. Wait for MLG playlist... 2. Play SWAT w/ BR in meantime 3. Once MLG comes out play that 4. ..... 5. Profit and Victory...
  14. This is actually a pretty interesting idea. What if there was an armor ability that pushed objects (grenades) close to you away and caused stickies to harmlessly launch themselves away. They could even bring back the Rejected medal and you could get it by using this AA to stick your opponent by pushing the plasma away. How cool would that be?
  15. The Mauler wasn't able to start in a loadout... In all fairness it probably wasn't as useful either.
  16. I really REALLY miss the way Reach's custom games worked. I also miss almost all aspects of the forge system that they had in place. In addition it was nice to have Grifball available in MM as well as a version of Grifball that I don't absolutely hate.
  17. I don't have any clue. They were golden with the Hornet. It seems that once they moved to the Falcon in Halo Reach and that wasn't as well recieved that they decided to remove it all-together. Looking back upon it they probably should have just reverted back to the Hornet. That thing could carry people, fly solo, wreck vehicles and infantry alike, and traverse the battlefield with unparalleled ease. Also there is now no counterpart to go along with the Covenant Banshee.
  18. Pretty clever pun right there. Halo Point = Hollow Point
  19. Well I previously would have said that they would never let us drive a Pelican but they let us do that. So the way I see it there is always the off chance that if it's around long enough or desired enough they would include it in the game. However, I think that do to the bulkiness of the Mammoth it may be very unwieldy in terms of control. Perhaps they might add the Elephant (Mammoths smaller cousin) instead? The Elephant can almost compete as a competitive multiplayer vehicle (Hell, it'd take more skill and teamwork than any currently in MM). I doubt the Mammoth could. I don't think that anybody could watch this vehicle and say that it would not be an epic idea for a multiplayer gametype. Why they didn't try to pursue the more interesting things that could be done with Elephants after their relative popularity and uniqueness in Halo 3 is beyond me.
  20. I think that the question should read "Do you prefer Regicide or Lone Wolves?" I would have to choose Regicide. The community favorite was/is obviously FFA though. In this kind of situation one has to ask...
  21. Yeah I've never really understood the reasoning behind removing the UNSC aerial vehicles. The Hornet was a great vehicle and I believe it was well loved by all. The Falcon, though not quite as popular as the Hornet was also pretty well loved. At least one of them needs to return in Halo 5.
  22. Honestly I don't think that this playlist would be nearly popular enough to encourage it's creation. As a double XP or weekend playlist though It might be justified.
  23. Yeah but think of it this way... 343i and Microsoft are trying to take a stand on a serious matter. They could NOT be taking any stand on ANYTHING which is obviously worse. I might get some hate for saying this next thing but It's the truth. This is kind of like a very rich man donating 5 million dollars to a charity, and getting bashed because he didn't donate more which he obviously could afford. The problem with this is that that man donated more then all of the haters combined donated. Should this be opened up to homophobic and racist remarks? Yes. But should we insult 343i for trying to fix one part of the problem (an un-fixable problem I might add)? No... And just because the problem isn't fixable doesn't necessarily mean that 343i shouldn't punish for it and thereby discourage it.
  24. In all honesty the grenades themselves are not OP... as a matter of coincidence they are incredibly weak. The problem is that there is such a surplus of grenades being thrown around all over the place that it doesn't matter.
  25. The Splatter Emblem... I have been known to be called the Splatter Master.
