  1. It's getting better. The story has really picked up a lot these last few episodes.
  2. Boltshot is not OP... *Requires good timing *Makes loud sound when charging *Realistic One-shot kill range is small (any long distances tend to take a perfect shot which is hard) EDIT: And tbh... I have seen very few people using the boltshot in comparison to other loadout weapons. If I had to do the math I figure the Boltshot would account for a small amount (lets say 0.05%) of the times I have been killed.
  3. I'm gonna go ahead and call BS... If it was true you'd have been considerate enough to post numbers and facts. Fail troll is fail.
  4. It's essentially a skill based version of the rocket launcher. *Can't rapid fire shots (Have to make it first time) *Lower splash radius *Requires good timing I think it is meant to be a sort of midway point between the strength of standard loadout weapons and that of the rocket launcher. So in a sense it's only weak if you compare it with some of the other weapons. I wish it would show up more in personal ordinance.
  5. Halo 2 by a long shot. I got to that one sniper alley part of the Outskirts level and then completely gave up.
  6. Yeah they messed up Flood pretty bad... the worse part is that it's impossible for us to fix it because they killed it even worse when it comes to custom gametype options.
  7. This is the perfect example of why assassinations are great. I think Bungie envisioned these kind of situations when they opted to include them in Reach.
  8. But the good side of Join In Progress is that if you are on a team that is losing bad because they are understaffed.
  9. Join in progress - It's a bit of a double edged sword... If you look at it with a level head you'll see that it probably benefits you more than it hurts you. AR's do not beat precision weapons... at range. I haven't seen a problem with grenade spamming yet. Throwing the oddball was just the refreshing idea oddball needed. It made it a far more strategic gametype.
  10. I believe that Frankie told us that we would be able to predict where ordinance would be popping up. From what I've seen though it isn't true.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Uqh2-TsCAY Secrets are revealed, trusts betrayed and the Sangheili leader Jul 'Mdama's ultimate plan nears sucess. As Infinity's command crew makes a discovery that changes everything we thought we knew about the Forerunner Prometheans, the Spartans must attempt to rescue one of their own.
  12. Yes the hunters are quite numerous (Episode 3, Chapter 5). I wish they would add their little boss type encounters in some other ways. (Elite General, Scarab, Lich)
  13. Regeneration field is good for suprising an enemy that thinks he has an easy kill.
  14. Yes the game is great... can't say I don't agree with the people who are complaining about the specialization codes though. 343 industries really botched the way they handled that... and that probably accounts for 9/10 of all the complaining currently.
  15. A rift or rupture (physical or ideological) often as a result of a diatribe, or disagreement, between two or more parties. Think of how many different forms and takes on Christianity there are. Once back in the past there was some discord within the church and then boom... they split into two groups. Same thing happened with the elites.
  16. Perfection medals have to be done in slayer. It's considered too easy in other gametypes so they don't count it.
  17. I wouldn't release the game with a lackluster forge mode and restricting custom gametype options.
  18. Team Snipers and Grifball should be permanent playlists while ones like FFA Throwback should be done on rotation.
  19. Yes they get completely wrecked as soon as they take to the skies. Personally I like my banshees a little more dominate and strong but I know why 343i did it. Do you remember Paradiso in Halo Reach where good banshee pilots could get kill-streaks of 80+ kills. I think that they wanted to prevent that in Halo 4. Now the banshee is more of a take to the skies rack up a couple of kills and potentially make a power move, and then get shot down.
  20. It was always really hard to balance in Halo 3 with the dual wield SMGs and dual wielding Plasma rifle + SMG combo. However, now that all of the main primary loadout weapons are obvious two handed weapons (save for the Suppressor which could be either) I think it might have actually been a cool thing to include. Dual Magnums and dual boltshots would be pretty damn badass.
  21. He talks about his opinions on the boltshot. His ass smashing of noobs with the Scattershot is pretty good too though
