  1. Very good eye you have there. Yes it does look like 343i is giving their spin on EOD.
  2. Maybe there was a game-type named YOLO that had shotguns in it but I don't think that is what is being debated. You can still add the shotgun as your primary weapon in the load-out creator. That means it is in other game-types (regular slayer) too.
  3. 3 Votes. This is great news. If left to the community to decide the role of MLG in Halo 4, I am almost certain that the community will pull through in support.
  4. Whoever invented this idea should win the Nobel Peace Prize!!!
  5. I'm going to open this thread up to the idea of TV show quotes as well as there's a lot of good ones there as well. As a fan of Mafia Movies here is one of my favorites from a TV show called The Sopranos. "Anybody else would've had their intervention right through the back of their head." This is the boss of the family basically telling his made nephew that he would be dead if he were anybody else.
  6. Post your favorite movie quotes of all time on this thread for others to see and enjoy. "What we do in life, echos on in eternity" "Leave the gun, Take the Cannoli" "STELLAAAAAA"
  7. Now that we have the shotgun as a primary weapon choice I will be updating my loadout. Primary: BR Secondary: Shotgun Grenades: Plasma Perk: Hard-light Shield Package: Firepower I think that this topic should be made into an official topic. It's gotten a ton of replies and will be interesting and useful to discuss all the way up to the release of Halo 4. Should be pinned.
  8. Unfortunately, months ago we would have considered the Shotgun a power weapon. So everything is still up in the air.
  9. It is a different idea. I would be happy to recieve either a sniper rifle (maybe Forerunner sniper???) or Scatter-shot in my ordanance. Either one looks like it can be used to absolutely massacre opponents. Whatever weapon I recieve would determine my playing style until I die or the match ends.
  10. Very well said. Looking forward to the new changes. On the note of the shout-box... I think that it is incredible the quality and cleanliness of this sites shout-box. It's mind-blowing when compared to the shout-boxes of other sites.
  11. This is a very informative thread Choot 'Em. Props to you for putting this all together. I'm still not sure what all of this means and how it fits in with what we know so far. The Didact's new symbol is very interesting. Perhaps a line on top could mean the Librarian? On a side note aren't they usually very careful in designing stuff like this? Usually, it seems, when somebody discovers something like that Didact gif it was hidden there and meant to be found. Liked good sir.
  12. Very nice looking. I wish that I possessed the talent to create something like that. Liked my good sir.
  13. Two discs is a great thing. Whether it means one will have commentaries and interviews or game mode lobbies, it surely means that the LE 343industries will be delivering will be very hefty. More than likely it will probably be commentaries and interviews as that is common practice with limited or collectors editions.
  14. I agree, Mr. Wolfy is one cool guy. Good job on these shout-outs
  15. Welcome to the forums
  16. Yes as far as we can tell this looks to be legit. Here is the picture before the mods over at Halo Waypoint deleted it. It must be getting nerfed a lot if it is going to be a primary weapon.
  17. All of the LASO challenges... I can no longer be bothered to play Halo Reach's campaign and having to do it with all the skulls on without dying once is insane for me.
  18. Yeah this would be a great feature for them to add. I highly doubt it will be in Halo 4 though seeing as that would be something they would have shown us in the video. My suggestion is to wait for Halo 4 to be released, then when they make a Halo 5 discussion sub-forum you should post this idea as a thread in there.
  19. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2012/07/30/dead-space-3-video-preview.aspx "Gamers have nothing to fear except Dead Space 3" Amidst concerns that Dead Space 3 would be moving away from the survival horror gameplay that we know and love in favor of open battlefields and cooperative play., Gameinformer editors Ben Reeves and Andrew Reiner sit to talk about what they saw behind closed doors at E3. Visceral Studios will overcome the security of surviving with a partner by way of introducing new gameplay mechanics. Firing your gun can now lure out hordes of enemies, so communicating with your partner to keep his finger off the trigger will be vital in the third segment of the franchise. Another major concern after E3 was the open battlefields present in the demo. Ben Reeves and Andrew Reiner are quick to dismiss this concern as wrong. Behind "closed doors" they witnessed Dead Space gameplay that reminds of the previous two games.
