What if in War Games if you lowered your weapon it gave you the ability to run slightly faster and farther??? That could provide a valid reason to use it in War Games.

I don't think that the SMG should make a return whatsoever. However 343i said that they wer going to introduce and "Assault Carbine" that would remind players of a previous weapon that "Mangled Shields." To me this sounds like the SMG is going to make a return. And while I don't see the point of bringing such a weapon back without dual-wielding being present, should it be brought back I would sure hope that it includes the silencer and zoom.

A decent computer running at regular clock speed tends to absolutely blow console games out of the water in terms of graphics. I would sure hope that they put Halo 3 on the PC when it's time is done on the Xbox 360.

When I read this topic I actually went back and watched the E3 footage of this game. I hope it's released in march of 2013 because that is a relatively short wait. If it is anything like the trailer then they will have me buying the game.

Almost anything said by the prophets or by the gravemind tends to be a great example of writing. well they most certainly did not confirm it. And from what we know about Halo 4 through video, pictures, and deductive reasoning it doesn't seem like a likely thing for Halo 4. Bringing the arbiter back is something for far later Halo games or a Covenant Background video game. Welcome to the website! Our wonderful little corner of the internet!

My main reasoning is that while all the other playdates are great they are scarce. I think it would strongly benefit the community to have a weekly/bi-weekly playdate for this community. And then being able to share the recap with the rest of the community would work to entice new participants as well as fuel discussion and good memories for the distant future.

Not sure if anybody will follow my logic here. IMHO the Halo sniper rifle Needs to be built. The Halo Reach sniper was built. It doesn't need to be thin or fat. (its fat right now) They can make it have some weight and mass to it but it should be more of a dense weight than a bulky weight. There is no reason to include anything that doesn't serve a purpose. The side scope they added to the Halo 4 sniper rifle was completely unnecessary. They could have done it ten times better if they did the scope like the Halo Reach sniper.

Added a video of game-play so that people can see it in-game as well. I think that covers all aspects of the redesigned sniper.

So I realized that I never really made an intro thread and therefore should formally take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am SweatyBagels. I am a proud supporter of 343 industries, Bungie, and all good video game development. I am a scholar athlete on the high school level and am getting college intrest for my skills in football as an offensive lineman. (guard) My favorite video game of all time is Half Life 2 (IKR its not Halo booooo), closely followed by H2, then all the other Halo games, and then finally ending it off with Dead Space 1. I like rock music but primarily listen to hip-hop style songs. My favorite color is Bright Lime Green (Its actually black), and my favorite nfl team is the Atlanta Falcons. College team would have to be Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
