Yeah, i'd say that's quite possible that the other players get to play as other Spartans instead of copies of the Master Chief. Or actually, maybe they'll play as their own Spartans again with the same model they'd play in Multiplayer.

And that's why it'd be a sad moment if it does happen.

I'm thinking that maybe somewhere at the end of campaign, Master Chief will have to let go of her, leave her behind, something in that direction. If this prediction is true, that will be a sad moment

I don't think there have been any infos so far about Halo 4's ranking system. All i heard was that the system of Halo 3 won't be returning

Still play as Chief? You don't say! That's something that is completely out of the question for this Halo 4 game and if anyone expresses any doubt about us playing as the Master Chief, i'd say they're in the wrong forum. You're not one of them though

What exactly stopped you from putting those 2 posts together into 1 post? Anyways, that video sounds awesome, especially the interaction part and that Master Chief is like a hero to Earth and to the Spartan IVs

That's pretty effing cool! I think the guy at 0:26 could've done more with that quarter pipe than just drive up a bit and the guy at 0:36 could've been a bit faster, but all in all this video had some nice flips and slides, awesome. The best part imo is that 1st person action close to the end!

That looks 100 times better than the original, i really like the colors! If there's one negative thing i have to say about it though, it's that i don't like how that "from" is all the way at the bottom. But maybe that looks really cool when it's actually seen as a book cover as opposed to just looked at as an image in a thread

That's actually a pretty interesting idea. Just throw in some missions where you play as an ODST into Spartan Ops. Might defy the name, but that wouldn't bother me too much

I have to admit i didn't read any of the books. All i know is that in one of the books it's described that the Pillar of Autumn was built in space because it couldn't be ona planet (reason is probably wrong, don't remember exactly) and that that stands in contrast to the Halo Reach campaign because there the Pillar of Autumn is on the planet. In my opinion, that's something pretty major and so it was a major effup on Bungie's part..

If you mean characters as in main characters, i assume that Master Chief will be the only main character that is a Spartan. Maybe that's wrong though, if the interaction with those new Spartans will be that important Yeah, that's pretty much what i meant. Master Chief was gone, but the enemies were still there. So they needed new Spartans and they needed them fast

Hi, I just watched a video of Anoj's Halo 4 Analysis series, and even though the video is a couple days old, i haven't seen a thread posted about this. First off, the video i'm talking about is this one Around the 2 minute mark, it appears that a 343i employee talks about how the Master Chief is not the only Spartan anymore and how the program moved on. Of course everyone knows that in Halo 4's multiplayer, you will be playing as a Spartan IV soldier. But what's your opinion on this? Of course it makes sense that the UNSC would move on with the spartan program. And with Master Chief, the last Spartan, being gone, of course there'd have to be many new Spartans. So what would be better for them than the return to the Spartan VI program, which can arguably be explained as a mass production of Spartan supersoldiers. Well, not mass, but more for less money. So this makes me wonder about Halo 4's campaign too. How will we interact with those Spartan supersoldiers? My thought on this is that they will probably replace the Marines and ODST soldiers as our AI comrades in battle. If that thought is true, maybe for once our allies won't prove to be just another dangerous enemy again

First, there is no solid proof for this, so nothing is for sure. Second, i really don't care for another Halo Wars game. Third, i agree with Biggles, if there's another Halo Wars, it should be on PC. PC is the platform for strategy games like that so PC is where it should be

Remember SWAT in Halo 3 with all the elites jumping around? And their heads being harder to hit than the spartan ones? It is for that reason that i didn't mind elites not being playable in most Halo Reach gametypes. And it's also the reason why i won't mind them not being playable in Halo 4 multiplayer. When everyone has to play as a spartan, with the same hitboxes, it's just more balanced.

That's true, if they put out a huge new feature like Killcams and find out that most of the community don't like the addition, chances are still that they remove it from the game in an update. I hope 343i's minds are open enough for that
