  1. I haven't seen a lot of T2 since Halo 3 so when I saw this Halo 4 video, I was pretty excited to see him interviewing and discussing the new game with Mrs Violence
  2. Yup, that's the one, I think that's my favourite part
  3. Hahaha, it's true that they were hoping to film a Halo movie. Not sure if Wiki is the most reliable source though.. man, I sound like my lecturers Anyway, there was a 7 min short directed by Neill Blomkamp, that came out a bit before Halo 3 that you can find on YouTube.
  4. I absolutely loved the Halo 2 opening theme music with the guitar solo. Intensely inspiring.
  5. Hey Mr.DirectBiggles, I understand how you are feeling about these potential cons of Halo 4. Hearing about the confusing BR and DMR differences didn't make a lot of sense to me either (though I'm so glad to see the BR back). I'm sure that 343, while being new, has more than enough experience in game making as what I have heard of, there are a number of exBungie staff on their team (like Frank O' Connor). And I'm sure all of the staff are who weren't originally from Bungie are massive Halo fans anyway who want nothing more than to do the title justice by making the game look and feel like a Halo game, only better. What I have found consistent with the Halo games is they are always well balanced. Kinda like the rock, paper, scissors idea in that where one weapon/ability is strong in some instances, they aren't in others. And vise versa with weapons/abilities that are weak here and strong there. So, while at the moment some things sound under or over powered, or just a bit too much like CoD, I'm sure with more information from later gameplay teasers, refinement by they 343 crew, and then our own experiences when we play it, that it'll make sense why this and that are the way they are. Haha, I hope that makes sense. What's with that post two up^^? Didn't know Halo fans would be in the consumer bracket for Mulberry Handbags..
  6. Trueskill made competitve play so intense in Halo 3 because you really wanted to win. I really enjoyed being put up against players of similar skill and praying for my level to go up after every game, it made it addictive! Also being able to see number of games played and experience earned of any player you were teamed up with or against in Halo 3 made it a lot easier to gauge whether they were good or not. Definitely right, DUgF, November, huz up!
  7. I followed them ever since Halo 3 and Tom Taylor's Dr Pepper Tips, was soo disappointed when they lost Snip3down. I think it's well time they started getting better results in Reach, they deserve it.
  8. I definitely agree with the points you raised about the pros of Halo 3 over Reach, i spent hours going over trick jumps and tricks that i saw CaptainCrunch41, Jagged Shrapnel, LedgendPimpz and others do on YouTube, it was a real challenge pulling those off but incrediblly satisfying. Also with the maps of Halo 3 vs Reach, you are right about 3's being consistantly more enjoyable to play on, 343 have said something about most, if not all of there maps for Halo 4 being totally new, as in, not from the campaign, and I wonder if this will aid in the multiplayer maps being more fun? I do wonder if it is harder making maps when there is sprint and all of the other armor abilities? Having to not only design original maps that are visually pleasing and able to play many game types but also do not over-assist particular armor abilities must make it a whole lot harder. I'm sure that if some of the Reach maps were in Halo 3 then they would have been more popular. But with some abilities, like jet-pack and sprint, it makes it a bit harder. Holding an area in Halo 3 was, I feel, easier because there were no armor abilities. Good discussion anyway
  9. Sliiiick kills, thanks for the post
  10. Wicked GamerTag, MrKyuubi, haha i bet there'd be people out there willing to pay good money for that one!
