I think there should be different animations depending on where you are in a map. For example: If you're on a high bridge, you spin them around, and do a this-is-sparta kick off to their demise. Or by water, you just sweep them off their feet and smash their head in the water with your foot (partially breaking the visor, clearing that up). Others could include smashing their head into a rock, picking them up and throwing their body onto a short pole and have the pole go straight through their body, smashing their face into a monitor then finish them off, hanging them from a low-hanging cord, etc..

Another easy way to get Assassinations is protecting a base in Dominion. Sit back in a base and let them start to capture the base you're defending, then while they're capturing it, walk right up and break their neck lol. They can't do anything about it, that's the best part. Especially since it's kind of glitchy, as to where you can't move for a couple seconds after capturing sometimes. This happened to me once... so I went right back to that base with a boltshot in hand, acted like I was going to capture it, then when they walked on over to me they got a boltshot to the face haha.
-
Definitely agree with that part. The boltshot might not be op, but it's definitely overpowered for a secondary weapon, available at each spawn. And IMO, they should add bloom back into the game. Yea, Reach's bloom, everyone's biggest pet peeve. Sorry the game took a lil bit of skill and patience.
-
They are really cheap... everytime I have a Binary Rifle I've gotten a killing spree, never fails. I just don't give away my position until I see someone, then quickly scope in. Boltshot can take out a guy with a rocket, and make that person very very angry lol. And the SAW is especially cheap on Dominion when the opponent has last stand. A guy with a SAW can wreck an assault rifle guy with overshields. Or most other primary weapons for that case.

The only parts that suck is that Banshees go down easy, and you can't jack it from the front.

I'm not saying my point is more valid, you're trying to make it sound like I'm a pretty bad player because people melee me when I'm not. Melee was much better when it took TWO hits, that's all. I'm sorry that I play in the living room, and can't have the volume up high enough to actually hear the footsteps until they're right in my face, and I don't use my turtle beaches. Besides, no one even runs because of the stupid missing crosshair after sprinting, so it's hard to hear them anyway. After numerous hours playing SWAT on Reach, it's a little hard to get used to turning corners in slow motion. I don't need instructions to play, and I'm certainly not the only one who thinks one hit melees are overpowered.

The shotguns in COD only kill from long distance if you got range on it, and you have some deadly accuracy. The only op shotgun in that game is the striker. Sniping? Quickscoping is far harder than Halo's ever been. Yea, two body shots. You also have a HUGE distance between you and your target. In Call of Duty, very few maps have long enough distances as to where a sniper can effectively hardscope, meaning you're almost always quickscoping. And no, it's not anywhere. You can still shoot someone in the waist or below with just about any sniper and not get the one shot. If you do get a one shot, the sniper has a lot of other drawbacks as to why it's so easy to kill something. Snap targeting? I've never had any help quickscoping. Yea, you get your enemy in the middle of the screen, hold left trigger and fire, but if that's so simple, the same can be done in Halo. Halo also gives a sniper defenses. If you start taking hits, you have time to turn and run. COD you start taking hits and you drop dead. You get a new person to the games and have them try sniping in Halo, then on Call of Duty, and see which one they do better on. I agree that each weapon has their own pros and cons, just it's pretty easy to tell what the overall best weapons are. Yea, Lightrifle and Carbine are good in certain situations, heck even the storm rifle, just the situations are often harder to find than just having a DMR, AR, or Suppressor at the ready. I just personally don't like the Covenant weapons, and still trying to adapt to the forerunner weapons slowly, that's the only reason I don't like them as much really haha. But I still don't think the sniper requires much skill in Halo 4, I'm sorry. The very first game that I used a sniper rifle in Halo 4 I got my first Rampage. I was saying then the sniper is way too op, and after almost having it up to master commendation now, my opinion hasn't changed much.

DMR isn't the problem. That's probably the hardest one to get a kill with in SWAT. They're all easy, but the Magnum and BR I don't even have to aim.
-
I thought the banshee was there in CTF, guess I was wrong. That's pretty dumbb.
-
I've seen the laser come back, and yes how fast the weapons dissapear is ridiculous.
-
There's like a thousand of these posts dude, and you forgot a couple. Like Perks and Instant respawn.
-
All bloom does is make it more realistic and take more skill. Just because a game doesn't have a BR doesn't mean it should get shunned, those are pretty bad reasons.

You can't compare Call of Duty and Halo's loadouts.. If Halo had multiple different automatic weapons, snipers, shotguns, etc., then I guarantee the loadouts would be similar. Loadouts just don't even make sense though. The covenant weapons are just a waste of space, suppressors overpowered, I'm convinced everything but the AR and DMR are useless, and somewhat the BR. They wouldn't let you spawn with a sniper in this game because the sniper is overpowered in this game. It actually takes skill to use a sniper effectively in Call of Duty. Spawning with a shotgun in this game will provide nothing but campers, but in Call of Duty people actually sprint around with a shotgun getting killstreaks. Loadouts, killcams, and instant respawn just weren't ever necessary, Halo was fine the way it was.

After a week of Halo 4, I decided to comeback and try Reach again. To my surprise, there were just as many people online playing Reach, as there were on Halo 4. Am I not the only one doing this? hah. Anyways, after trying Reach again, I found myself actually not screaming at all the bs. I played 4 games, two games of SWAT, one of infection, and one of Invasion. After going positive with 20+ kills in both games of SWAT, 28 kills in infection, and going 43 and 5 with three killing sprees and an untouchable in Invasion Slayer Hemmorhage, I can safely say I miss Reach lol. Halo 4 is definitely fun, but there are so many good things in Reach that I wished they hadn't taken out. Am I the only one thinking this?

I tend to be put up against really good teams as well, but hey, only one way to get better I guess.

Growing pretty fond of grenade classes as of recently, I either use: Assault Rifle Magnum Frag Grenades Promethean Vision Grenadier Explosives AR because I want to run up my commendation really...and because in this game it's seemingly better just like any other automatic weapon. Magnum for commendation.. again..lol but if there's a lot of ghosts, wraiths, banshee, etc..yea, I'll use plasma pistol. Frag's for bigger more deadly explosion with Explosives Promethean Vision because I'm using a close range weapon, get the jump on the enemy around a corner. Grenadier for that extra grenade, most people wait for 2 and then run out and die on the third one, or die by one of the three Explosives for use with the grenades, really fun. Also, I die from grenades ALL the time and this definitely helps. Or larger map class: DMR Boltshot/Plasma Pistol Plasma Hardlight Shield Mobility Dexterity Boltshot for the up close, Plasma Pistol for pesky vehicles Plasmas for vehicles mainly...not very good with sticking people, but getting better lol Hardlight if I'm shooting one enemy, and get my shields dropped from somewhere else, I'll throw it up and use Mobility to make a very effective getaway. and Dexterity for when I'm against a group of people and need all the shooting time I can get. Ammo is also nice.

When you round a corner, and someone happens to be there, if you don't get that first shot or if they come from the side or something, it's a little hard to dodge. No, I don't suck, I have a 1.33 k/d in this game and climbing, and I still find people punching me especially around corners. A compass would be a little hard to get used to, but since every map is so large and symmetrical, it would make a lot of sense. I definitely hear you though. A map like Haven, your landmarks are "underneath in one of those hallway things", "up above by that wall", "in the middle", etc.. As opposed to a map like Sword Base, with landmarks like green lift, blue lift, red room, coming up the stairs, across the bridge, etc. That was terminology my friends and I used at least, not professional, but oh well haha
-
Well sprint was in Reach as well, and most maps were pretty good. Most. Ahh, thanks lol that's what I was thinking when I typed it, but wasn't sure. And yea, I didn't mean Complex to be symmetrical. I actually do like Adrift, but it still feels like I'm running in circles half the time not finding anyone. Unfortunately, Adrift is the only map I like really for SWAT lol

How many 4 fans will float now that BO2 is coming out?
SkItZo1041 replied to ThisCrackerKils's topic in Halo 4
I used to be an avid MW3 player, but I've always been told Black Ops sucked, so I've never gave it a shot. The same will stand for BO2 lol -
Was it on Dominion? I've had the same problem, either thousands of Rocket Launchers or Snipers... really sucked. If you're talking about Longbow, that's where it's always the worst haha

SWAT's so annoying... just little things ruined my favorite gametype. The maps are too big, one-hit melee's really seperate the noobs from the actual SWAT players, and the BR and pistol don't even require aiming. >.> The symmetric maps are annoying too, feels like we're just running in circles, like every map is like Arena Zealot, just you still can't tell where you are half the time. And you used to be able to tell where some people were by looking at your teammates dead body marker, and that's just gone. Last but certainly not least, the instant respawn ruins exterminations, and is just SOOO frustrating. Having a good 5 second delay allowed people to cool down between deaths, and prevented people from getting huge multikills. Now I can get a triple kill off the same person, which is cool and all, but I'd HATE if that happened to me. At least fix some of these things? It's kinda suckish :/
-
Idk about fast paced, but I agree. The maps are too big, and I'm sick of the asymmetric maps (I think that's the word...get symmetric and asymmetric mixed up lol) like adrift, abandon, Haven, etc., as well as complex. I'm sick of getting sniped across the map on Complex >.<.
-
Forgot about Doubles hah, yea that too!
-
I know it's in, and yes that's exactly what I thought. I can see it now, people would be getting triple kills off the same person, just instant respawning. If it happens to me... well Halo just might get shunned for about a day or so lol.
-
Honestly I don't know how much you can get a day, I was just having fun lol. But I know it resets at midnight, as I finished a game at 12:04 and got my xp again. I've heard the cap is about 200,000, but don't quote me on that.
