Cool story. A lot of other people can though so it's okay.

No, it doesn't take much skill. I'm not saying 0% sir technical, but it's so much easier. Swat can be ended in 1 bullet, yes. But is it always like that? No. Sometimes you run into people around a corner, over a hill, etc., and it just comes down to who can pull the trigger faster half the time. IMO, Reach was a step up for swat. My opinion. No, you couldn't get a triple kill off one burst anymore, but I thought it was a good thing. Yes, using a DMR takes a bit more skill than a BR in swat, I'll stand pretty firm on that. In Reach especially (even the magnum), but even so in 4. Oh my, I forgot to mention a rocket. WOW. I'm glad you picked up on the fact that everyone can get a rocket launcher through ordinance drops too. Or any of those weapons, for that matter. And you can spawn with a boltshot and all. And yea, a magnum and boltshot equal out, definitely. Or not. A magnum you have to time all 6 shots, a boltshot you have two chances to get one, well-timed shot. Why does that comparison matter? Secondary weapons should both have their ups and downs. They do, but a boltshot has one-shot potential, knocking both other secondaries out of the water. I'm not saying that because I hate it, I love the boltshot. I use it all the time. Incineration cannons have bigger explosion ranges, and stall there for a couple seconds. Rockets you can at least somewhat dodge. Call of duty there's killcams that actually work. If I get killed by someone camping, I chuck a semtex across the map and can usually get the kill. Halo you have shields and the moment you get shot once you can turn and run. You get shot once in Call of Duty and you're dead, no more killstreak. If someone gets the jump on you from behind you usually can't just sprint away. I didn't realize that each one of my words would be taken into full detail analysis, otherwise I would have used more detail. Sorry, sir.

That really does suck, but nothing a community forum can do for you. Try to contact some higher-ups.

OMG the Mockery that has been made of Team Snipers..YIKES!
SkItZo1041 replied to littletunny's topic in Halo 4
The sniper is so op in this game, I don't see how you can't get kills. I actually haven't snipers in 4 yet, but I heard there is no magnum... I'm in love with this decision. -
Same here. I play with friends a lot and all, and no we're not the greatest Halo players a lot of the time, but we can at least score points in objective, not splatter each other (accidentally at least...lol), etc.. But when I'm by myself, it's like teammwork is out of the question. And yea, the maps never really change for BTB. Or any gametype, for that matter.

I hope you can do something with throwing it... I just don't know how if it is possible.

You should have made this a poll... I do like 4 more though.

new discrimination ban and teabagging
SkItZo1041 replied to eddyoutlaw's topic in General Discussion
If Halo 4 didn't let you teabag, there's a good chance I would have returned it by now. -
Thanks 343, but heres a few suggestions.
SkItZo1041 replied to Zealot210's topic in General Discussion
Campaign was nice, but I definitely agree. 90 gamerscore for lone wolf legend...well, it's not as amazing as it sounds. Wheelman does feel useless, I was pretty let down :/ Post-game stats are a little hard to follow now, and I do miss the old medals. As for firefight, it's basically either spartan ops or firefight, and honestly I'd prefer firefight. -
Future Halo Game Being About The Beginning of the War, Etc.
SkItZo1041 replied to Corpzerot's topic in Halo 4
If Gears of War is doing this... people will just say the next one will be a direct copy of Gears. I feel like Reach going back in campaign was enough, but hey I think they could do something with that. -
I'm pretty sure it's the 20th when you get access to all specializations.

Here's a few things that just get me so agitated when it comes to team-based games. I don't know what's worse. 1) People playing objective, but going for kills? Just played a game of CTF, as I love to play objective. Once again, I was paired up with a group of kids who will go around the map getting kills, rather than grab the flag. Why do they play objective gametypes, JUST TO GET KILLS? UGH. I thought one guy was coming with me to grab the flag once... no, he went with me to grab their sniper, and left me to get a double kill with a magnum and pummel, before getting killed by the third guy. I mean, they don't even get their kills in a strategic way, like defending the flag or something! They just go on their side and try to spawn kill half the time. The WORST games of all, are when you're the ONLY one going for the flag, and somehow you make it back with no shields, then your teammate betrays you, takes the flag, and scores. GO PLAY SLAYER. Or jump off a cliff, that works too. A little sunlight never hurt anybody so get out of your damn basement. 2) Teammates, not being teammates. I understand that teammates can't always help you kill someone, but when they just watch me get shot at... I just wish I could kick them right then and there. Just got done with some BTB (well by done I mean just quit out because I had a team of people who seemingly have never played Halo or a first-person shooter, for that matter, in their life) and I was raging. One of the many scenarios was there were these two guys on their team shooting at me on Exile. I took out one of their shields and ran back to three of my teammates for cover. One guy watched me from a bit of a distance, no shooting, hardly moving. Another dropped a Rocket Launcher and ran away. The last guy followed the kid with the rockets. There were two people, one with no shields, and my team just left me for dead. The enemies were close enough to be on radar, and right in plain sight. The kid who watched me just got killed by the other two, maybe hit with one or two bullets before he died. The only logical explanation I see is that he just bought his very first Xbox today. I like to think of it that way because then it's almost justifiable. Almost. The thing that made me quit... he was watching me take down a kids shields a little bit later... then proceeded to take one, final shot at his head. Didn't help me out one bit, but decided to take my kill. I was about to try out my Halo 4:Frisbee Edition disc outside. 3) Careless teammates... Why do teammates insist on walking in front of you or bumping into you while scoped in with a weapon? If you're in the middle of nowhere, or on the side of a bridge or something, THERE'S PLENTY OF ROOM TO WALK AROUND. I realize that you might be lazy, but you're moving your thumbs for Christ's sake. Other instances of careless teammates include friendly vehicles not caring if you're in the middle of the road (or the side of the road for that matter), or making a heavy vehicle angry, and running TOWARDS your teammates. Oh I just love it when someone shoots a tank with a DMR, then runs straight at me. Is it a secret plot to give the other multikills? I gotta admit, it works out great... for the other team. Those are just a few things. I just think teamwork is a pretty straightforward thing, why is it so hard to understand? It really seems like people go out of their way, just to be a horrible teammate. I mean, playing with Hellen Keller the Headless Chicken on my team isn't so bad, but when almost everybody is like that... it makes me wonder why people even bother with War Games.

Not gonna lie, I laughed pretty dang hard at that hahaha xD That is nothing but an opinion, but you state it like a fact. Just because you don't like Call of Duty doesn't mean the world doesn't.
-
Wrecking kids, assassinating in slayer pro... yea. As for the similarities, it is kinda close.

The AR is actually pretty good in 4, I wouldn't underestimate it at close-mid range. Well the DMR is the best weapon to use unfortunately. I'm a huge DMR fan myself, but I'd rather have all the weapons balanced so that you can freely switch whenever. It's rate of fire is the same as the BR and all, but the BR has to finish 3 bullets in the time it takes the DMR to shoot 1, it shoots a tad bit faster than the carbine and the carbine you have to actually hit with all 7, and the lightrifle scoped in just isn't as accurate. Bloom could solve this, but I'm not saying a word.

Specializations are part of loadouts, so if you don't want them, just make game-specific loadouts. I also have a huge list of things I don't like about 4, but specializations are actually one of the things I like about 4.

The biggest relation between Halo 4 and Call of Duty that people forget to mention is that neither game takes much skill at all.. Halo you don't even need to aim anymore, no bloom turns swat into spray and pray, dmr is so precise doesn't take any skill to use, boltshot, binary rifle, incineration cannon, saw, anyone can go on a killing spree with those, etc.. Call of Duty campings a bit harder, but if you can do it right you got your killstreaks piling up on each other, giving you the most kills on your team when really all you did was control a stupid airplane. I do have fun with Halo 4 sometimes, like the campaign, and occasionally matchmaking. A lot of the time, I wonder if it should go to charity, as they might want a $60 frisbee. The good times and bad times kinda balance each other out on my scale, but I can say it's not as amazing as I'd originally hoped.

That doesn't make it anything like Armor Lock. I use the shield to make a getaway. I think it should be able to regen shields, no reason not to really. If it's so easy to counter, why not? If you can't kill someone using a shield, then that's your problem. A simple grenade behind them, punch to the side, etc.
-
I wish they would.. Feels like I'm always on the same maps. And aren't the DLC's like, spread out across 6 months or something? I don't know the exact amount of time... I was thinking 9 months but that sounded a bit far fetched. Either way, the way people complained about Reach's forge maps, I doubt they'll do much of any user-submitted maps in 4.

Swat used to be my favorite, most played gametype... and this is one of the reasons I almost never play it anymore. I don't like any of the maps used for swat, much less playing them twice in a row. I just kind of... tolerate it. Like, it's not fun, but I give it a shot anyway hoping that one day it will actually be fun when I do play swat.

I'm not saying Armor Lock was amazing or anything, just that I didn't have a problem with it really. I just got used to it, and usually waited in a safe spot and got the headshot when they came out. It got annoying here and there, but I don't think it's any more annoying than people throwing up the shield, walking backwards around a corner, and running away.
