UNSC 105th Division ODST's
Furi0usGeorgeX replied to Luneth Aerohawk's topic in Clan Recruiting / Advertising
I'll ask Rybo about that. What is your clan called? -
Need a solid clan to roll with? A clan where you don't have to change your name to join? The 105th ODST's are a very organized clan, and started out along with the original release of Halo: Combat Evolved. We have a militaristic ranking structure, and a merit system to track promotion progress. We have over 100 members, and are still growing steadily. We have our own forums very much like this one, where the 105th community can talk to each other and ask questions. We have a dress code, but there are a few options to choose from, so every ODST can be somewhat unique. We have community nights every friday, along with bootcamp for new recruits. We are also currently undefeated against KSI, Demon Fire, TBU, WOS, and Spartan Project. If you are interested in joining, message me for more questions, or sign up here: http://www.helljumper.net/ If you are signing up, don't forget to put my gamertag: Furi0usGeorgeX, in the field where it asks who recruited you.

UNSC 105th Division ODST's

Just registered, now waiting for an admin to register me. About how long does this take? -
Actually, disregard everything above. I just realized that I am not a leader... In fact I never have been. I procrastinate too much to do anything productive. I lack the maturity and judgement to lead an organization that could become something great. This is why I resigned from Black Phoenix. I'm sorry Reaper, but you're going to have to find somebody else to lead this.

Player Looking for Clan
Furi0usGeorgeX replied to dsabin2011's topic in Clan Recruiting / Advertising
If you want/need help in clan matches or just for fun, you can hire a mercenary. The Mercenaries are an organization dedicated to helping other players find a clan. By sending them out on contracts, we allow them to experience how things work in the clan that hired them, and if they like it, they can join that clan. If they don't, they can keep searching. Or you could be a permanent mercenary, and help other players find their clans. You can also be a client. Clients can have mercenaries on their friends list to ask for help whenever they need to. This can be for clan battles, forging, or just for fun. Minor clients are clients who are individuals, not a part of a clan or any organization. Major clients are clients that are part of or control a clan, and want/need mercenary assistance. If you are interested in becoming a mercenary or client, please message me here or on Xbox LIVE. -

Player looking for clan
Furi0usGeorgeX replied to DrStankWang's topic in Clan Recruiting / Advertising
The Mercenaries are looking for new recruits. We aren't technically a clan, we're more of an organization. We need more recruits to complete more contracts. You do not need to change anything, only your service tag to MRC1 (looking for a more permanent clan to join) or MRC2 (want to stay a mercenary). To be hired, someone must hire (no actual transaction happens) the Mercenaries, and the leaders give contracts to mercenaries who want them. You are completely free to look however you wish. The MRC1/2 tag is only required on a contract, but you can have yours any other time. Message me here or on Xbox LIVE ~Furi0usGeorgeX -

Agreed.

Angel of Death, or Reaper2148, created this band of mercenaries a few months ago. The basics of this organization are to help aspiring clans with clan battles. A clan leader asks us for help, and we send mercenaries on "contracts" to aid them. Reaper has asked me to take control of the Mercenaries, permenently or temporarily, I'm not sure. I will try my best to direct the flow of contracts. If you are interested in joining the Mercenaries, send me a message on Xbox. If you would like your clan to be a client, message me here. You can message me here or on Xbox if you want to ask directly for assistance in a clan battle. When you ask for assistance in a clan battle, I will try to have one of my mercenaries join you. If none are available, I will join.

That Mastodon idea made me smile, it reminded me of the Mythos from Halo Custom Edition. It would be very cool if there was something like that for multiplayer.

I wasn't aware that the Rail Gun and Gauss weaponry were the same thing... I was just reffering to the Gauss rifle as a more portable version of the Gauss Cannon on the warthog. I don't see how the MultiShot Detonator is like the needler, because the needler locks onto a target and explodes when a certain number of needles hit the unshielded target. The revolver is less accurate and has less ammo than the magnum, yes, but it does much more damage. The shots fire all at the same time, not in a burst. The battle rifle fires in bursts, because it is only one bullet exiting the barrel at a time. The Shield Gun is like a watchers hardlight shield, but it does not have to be maintained and the wearer can still fire. I was refferring to the weapon that hunters used in halo 2 and 3. I suppose you have a point with the plasma tracker, it seemed much cooler in my head. The needle cannon has only one shot, and has enough needles in that one shot to destroy shielding and cause a supercombine explosion (or several). And the gravity cannon is basically the same idea as the gravity gun, but has depletable energy and cant lift ALL objects, like tanks or a mantis. And by the way, I asked for ideas, not criticism.

Similar to a recent post: Create a Vehicle for Halo 5 UNSC Gauss Rifle: Instant shot, magnetically accelerated slug cannon, small replaceable battery, high damage but not instant kill. Multi-shot detonator: Fire several smaller explosives at once, instant kill if stuck on target but not if on wall or ground, reload to detonate multiple explosives. .40 Caliber Sniper Rifle: Smaller than the standard Sniper Rifle and does less damge, larger magazine and instant kill headshot, 3-4 fully shielded body shots, 2-3 unshielded body shots. Not as much magnification as Sniper Rifle. .60 Caliber Revolver: Large hand cannon, 5 high damage bullets per cylinder. Innacurate at long ranges. HMG: Slow-firing heavy machine gun, innacurate at longer ranges, cannot rip off of mounts, possible warthog application. Riot Gun: Semi automatic shotgun, 12 guage shells, less damage than 8 guage Shotgun, less recoil. Promethean Blaster: Semiautomatic, high damage pistol, more damage than Boltshot. Slower firing but larger magazine. Trio-Shot: Fires three high damage hardlight slugs at once, not a burst shot. Low ammo capacity. Nailgun: Fires large hardlight nails. High damaging but slightly inaccurate, can pin bodies to walls, floors and ceilings. Low magazine capacity. Shieldgun: Encases taget in extra hardlight shielding. Support weapon. Incineration mortar: Mortart that fires incineration shells, larger damage radius and more damaging. Covenant Gravity Cannon: Can be used to pick up and launch objects and vehicles, battery drainage depends on weight of object. Can also push away objects and vehicles. Players unaffected. Fuel Rod Beam: Slow moving continuous fuel rod cannon, lower damage that fuel rod cannon, but higher ammo capacity (battery). Plasma Tracker: Fires slow moving plasmic projectiles that target the player fired at, High damage but large battery cost. Needle Cannon: Large shoulder fired cannon that shoots several needles at once, tracking player fired at and causing supercombine explosion if enough hit. Plasma Spreader: Fired plasmic shells in the style of a shotgun, battery operated. High damage at close range. You guys have any ideas?

A few ideas: Covenant Witch: Small but loud aerial vehicle, powerful weapons but light resistance to damage. Covenant Ghoul: Slow moving, heavily armored vehicle. Requires multiple personnel to operate, making inefficient if used solo. Covenant Skeleton: Senghelii exoskelatal battlesuit, similar to mantis but lighter armored and faster moving, witht the ability to jump. Covenant Reaper: Lightly armored but large VTOL, with several powerful weapons, several gunner seats but can be used efficiently solo. UNSC Hummingbird: Small VTOL aircraft, light armored but very fast and agile, and HMG type weapon as main gun. UNSC Ostritch: Large, heavily armored assualt VTOL. Slow and clumsy, requires several personnel to operate. UNSC Tanto: Small support aircraft, used in conjunction with longswords or broadswords. UNSC Hedgehog: Small, agile, light armored and heavily shielded. Light machine guns mounted on sides and back, driver in front. UNSC Armadillo: Two modes- Attack and Speed. In speed mode, cannot attack, but very fast. In attack mode, can attack but very slow. Heavy armor. Promethean Charger: Fast and light armored. Broad front used for ramming, and heavy, slow firing cannon in front, but powerful. Can seat two passengers. Promethean Titan: Large, light armored, slow moving, heavy weaponed assault mech. Incineration repeater and Hardlight laser. Promethean Olympian: Faster and smaller than the Titan, uses dual Incineration repeaters and heavy hardlight shielding. Promethean Drake: Large aerial vehicle, lightly armored with hardlight shields, single incineration repeater and weak hardlight bomb.

Just a list and some details that I think should be in Halo 5. Forge I liked the idea of 3 different forge maps for Halo 4. But those maps aren't as large as the original forge world, and most of the space was taken up by unnatural objects (buildings). I think there should still be multiple forge maps in Halo 5, but larger and more natural. Of course, many of the community (myself included) are very impressed by the Far Cry 3 map creator, which allows you to customize the landscape with terrain paint tools, water levels, weather, time of day, foliage placement, and much more. We would be very pleased if something similar were applied to Halo 5. I think it would be awesome if the forge ball was a sentinel instead, so the forger can defend themselves from other players. Firefight I wasn't particularly dissappointed by the disappearance of Firefight... Originally. Spartan Ops made a good replacement, until 343 stopped releasing episodes a few weeks ago. But the objective to simply survive has always enticed me, and I was extremely excited on the releases of Halo: ODST and Halo: Reach. I think there should be a firefight map editor (or creator), where we can place hostile and friendly spawns and drop points for troops and ordinance. Also, we should get the option as to who is friendly and who is hostile, so you can fight along covenant and hunt down marines. It would also be cool if the flood were involved in firefight, and a thick, green fog rolls in, and spores and flood sacs begin appearing. Weapons There were several great weapons in Halo 4 and Halo Reach. The Plasma Cannon and Plasma Rifle should make a return, as well as the SMG from Halo 2 and 3. The Halo Reach Magnum was a good balance between Halo CE and Halo 2's Magnums, but I think it would be cool if we had the heavy, slow firing, poweful magnum, along with the light, fast firing, weaker magnum, for tactical advantages. I think it would be great if there were weapon variants, like a standard SMG or a Suppresed SMG, or Tactical Battle Rifles (with some kind of alternate sights). Vehicles There should be assault and transport air vehicles, like banshees and hornets, and falcons and a light covenant transport. We should be able to tint vehicles the way we could change the colors of the mongooses in Halo Reach, for aesthetic and identification reasons. Large maps could have special vehicles, like the Elephants in Halo 3. There could also be more vehicle variants, like the heavy scorpion, which is like the Halo 2 scorpion, and the light scorpion, which is like the Halo 3 scorpion, but lighter armored and faster. This is a long shot, but maybe a large scale map with a huge amount of vehicles, resembling BF3's Armored Kill maps. Spartan Ops I think Spartan Ops should stay, but each mission have distinct locations, unless missions are meant to return to areas that we have been. Halo 4's Spartan Ops had several missions replay the same maps. But having several locations would keep Spartan Ops fresh. Matchmaking I think it would be best to go back to the Halo Reach/Halo 3 style playlist selection, with multiple playlists in different sections. And there should be different gametype variants like SWATguns or Hot Potato. And the old gametypes like VIP and Territories, and Assault should return, as well as standard infection, but keeping flood, or combining the two. Theater Theater mode should have different zoom options and post film editing tools, like fade, blur, contrast, etc.. There should also be a follow tool, like when normally following a player, but it stays focused at a certain angle on the player. There should also be camera shake and border options. I think I've covered just about everything. Tell me what you guys think of what I would like in Halo 5, and tell me what you guys want.
