Desmond woke up and saw some Covenant leaving. He was knocked out and they must have thought he was dead. His rifle was lying on the floor next to him, he got up and retrieved it. Looking around, he realised he was still in the same area as before. He moved forward to a hallway, where he noticed some small pieces from something destroyed, and a weird-looking device next to them. He picked it up, and saw it rebuild itself on his hand. "Whoa!" he said surprised, and realising that this device was actually a weapon, he fired a few shots of yellow-orange projectiles on the nearby wall. He hadn't seen anything like that before. Suddenly, a red dot appeared behind him in his motion sensor and he quickly turned around, only to see a big, metallic creature glowing orange charging at him. Unable to dodge, it jumped on him, but before it could do anything, he wielded his Magnum and emptied a whole magazine on its head. The creature backed off and then teleported away. Desmond, catching his breath, picked up his BR and the recently found weapon, and started searching the area for something interesting.

It's probably the Wheelman Support upgrade, it increases the durabillity of vehicles and shortens the time it's stunned by EMP. I hope that helped

Desmond heard more voices, this time hostile too. He enterred a room full of Covenant and saw an Elite ready to strike a fellow Spartan with an Energy Sword. He reacted fast, and with a quick burst from his rifle he knocked the sword out of the Elite's hand, who left an angry growl seeing the Spartan. Now all the troops there focused their aim at him, ready to shoot. "What a great idea" Desmond thought, preparing for a tough fight.

I play campaign or multiplayer at LEAST 3 times a week

Yeah, I have a sense that Halo 6 is going to end Master Chief's story, by either ending the threat(s) once and for all, or maybe even killing him, which I don't want to happen D:

Desmond saw more dead Covenant troops and was sure that someone was in there. Suddenly, he heard a cry for help, but also an echo of another voice. He decided to follow voice shouting for help, and go check the other one later. As soon as he got there, gunfires could be heard, possibly a battle, he thought. Turning around a corner, he saw a Spartan holding of many Covenant. Desmond had the element of surprise, so he stabbed an Elite in the back with his Holo Blade, and used his body as a temporary shield from incoming fire. He threw the dead body on a Jackal, and quickly took out his BR, finishing it off. The two Spartans cleared the area in no time. They both took off their helmets, recognizing each other. "Taylor? Is that you?" "Black! A bit late, don't you think?" "We had to extract some civillians, and when I arrived on Infinity, I was sent here to investigate. Did you find anything worth for the scientists?" "No, as far as I know." "Alright, let's go find the others." said Desmond, as they both ran to another area.

Halo 3 is by far the best to me, the campaign is incredible and the multiplayer balanced and fun. I've spent thousands hours on this game, and I think it will be my all-time favorite game for a LONG time

Davis walked up to Desmond, with one arm on his COM / TAC. "We have reports that there's an abandoned science base north of Requiem, Aristotle Base." said Davis. "Your mission is to investigate the base for any hostile activity; we've got crucial intel there." "Any info concerning my squad, sir?" "Still nothing. But I'll keep trying to raise them." Desmond walked towards the Pelican, and while the door was closing, he heard a "Good luck" from Davis. He went to the cockpit to inform Jeff. "I've already got my intel, going to that base now." "I'm not sure about you, but I'd like more intel with my intel." After a while, they arrived at the science base. "See that's why I want more intel? They didn't say it would be THAT cold!" said Desmond seeing the snowy enviroment. Getting off the Pelican, he noticed the dead Covenant and wondered if someone was already here. He went deeper into the facility to investigate.

A Pelican was approaching Infinity from a distance. "The whole airspace is full of Covenant!" said the pilot. Desmond went next to him. "Jeff, can you get us in there?" "Hey, no need to be insulting! Might be a bumpy ride though." The Pelican dodged incoming fire, and approached Infinity's hangar. "Brace yourselves, we're going in a little hot!" They landed at almost full speed, the landing gear sparkling on the floor. The crew exited the aircraft, quickly taking out a small group of Grunts and Jackals. After they were clear, another Spartan came to Desmond. "Greetings, Spartan! I'm Spartan Davis, your squad's new handler." "Hey. So where's the rest of my squad?" "Yeah, about that... They escaped in a Pelican a few moments ago, they had wounded." "How can I-" Desmond was cut off, the ship started shaking all of the sudden. It stopped a few seconds later. "What the hell was that??" "I'm not sure. But I'm afraid that it has to do with that Forerunner artifact a fireteam found earlier..." "An artifact?" "Yes, but we don't know what it does yet. The scientists are working on it now, I hope nothing went wrong..."

Unable to rejoin his friends and realizing the battle is all but hopeless, he sacrifices himself by detonating a fuel tank, giving the rest of Desmond's squad time to escape. He kept his dog tag in his memory. Now, enlisted at the Spartan IV program, Black is deployed, along with other squads on Requiem, to wipe out the remaining Covenant and Promethean forces.
