all we can do is wait, until that date, or we can speculate, on what would be the fate, of the series we don't hate.
-
Love the separate maps and I love the magnet. But did I spy FALLING DAMAGE!!!? oh no
-
Thanks for the honesty. Since the Flood will not be a part of Halo 4, this Precursor may not be either, but I do believe this will be a major, if not the central theme of the series seeing how important the Flood is to the Forerunner story, and seeing that the name of the book written, Primordium, is a term used to describe this Precursor/Gravemind.
-
Another reason that proves that the Didact is a good guy
-
I don't know if he will go willingly but I think he will have a change of 'heart' when he meets the Librarian again. It also makes sense seeing that their name is 343 Industries and at the end of Primordium, Spark is shown to still be alive. It fits well that Spark and Chief should become partners.
-
Your former statement may be valid, but what evidence exists stating that the Forerunners didn't fight the Precursors?
-
That seems thought out but how would the Flood have created the Precursor artifacts. It is the Forerunner's belief that they were created by the Precursors. The Precursor/Gravemind says to the Didact, "I am the last of those who gave you breath and shape and form." How could this be if this Precursor was the Flood the whole time?
-
Yeah, it's safe to assume that Bornstellar is the full-fledged Didact
-
I think she would die at the end of 5 or beginning of 6 and you will have Spark for the rest
-
There is no evidence to support this theory except how 343i has set up the plot of Halo 4. Theory: 343 Guilty Spark will become Chief's AI -With the deterioration of Cortana, Chief will have dependency issues -When she dies, he will need a new AI -343 Guilty Spark, who is not in his monitor body, has highjacked a UNSC ship in search of the Librarian who is the wife of the Didact -The Didact will probably be a major character in Halo 4 given the evidence from the E3 trailer -Spark will probably find the Librarian and bring back the her back to the Didact, and Chief will probably be with him -In the presence of his creators Spark will have a change of heart and side with the Chief to defeat a greater threat that will require a combined effort of these Four, and Spark will do something (I'm not sure what) that is significant enough for 343 Industries to name themselves after. (this plot sets up nicely) *Keep in mind that Spark is the subject of all of the Halo: CEA Terminals *I believe this is the reason for 343 Industries' mysterious name, which they said they would reveal in the trilogy. *It's only fitting that this should happen because Spark is so deeply integrated into the Halo Story, considering he is at least 100,000 years older than Cortana, and so familiar with the Forerunners.

P-1609: It appears that they knock him out, not kill him. Victory Element: I think that it will be Bornstellar's body (since the real Didact was executed by Faber), but the Didact's imprint apparently transferred his consciousness into Bornstellar, making him a reincarnation of the Didact just like Drizzy_Dan said.
-
Ok. I was somewhat responding to The Director as well. Faber executed the Didact, but the Didact gave his 'imprint' to Bornstellar, which basically transformed him into the Didact. I remember your topic and voted that he would seem like a bad guy at first and then it would be shown that he is actually good.
-
I appreciate the thought but as of right now, every other thread about the Didact has been posted before yours. I guess the Didact is just a popular guy. That's a good idea that the Librarian is on Requiem though.

The Didact is the best candidate to be controlling the Prometheans since he was the leader of the whole Forerunner military. Also, I don't think that Greg Bear wrote and entire book about him for nothing. Apparently the Librarian is still alive. At the end of Primordium, a preserved fragment of Guilty Spark highjacks a UNSC ship and sets course for her. Greg Bear, the author of the Forerunner Saga said, "What we've created in these books will definitely play a part in HALO 4. Those who read the books will be well backgrounded on significant details." Here's the link: http://www.gregbear....lay.cfm?id=6293

Cremator - Kill 5 people by incineration via Forerunner guns in one life Frenemies - get a betrayal and a kill with one shot/grenade/splatter (I don't encourage this) Sticky Business - Kill someone with a sticky on them before they blow up Chiropractor - Assassinate everyone from the opposing team in one life Not Your Typical Badass - Kill someone with no help from anyone or anything but a plasma pistol (no beat downs)
-
Purple Nurple - Kill Cortana (She's had it coming for a while now)
-
I believe it's the same guy. This has inspired me to post a thread about his awesomeness: http://www.343indust...t-man-on-earth/

Jeff Steitzer, the voice of Halo, will be returning to Halo 4. Listen to the sound of his voice.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiajRBb-nAo

It looks good, but it looks just like any old 4-wheeler. The Halo 3 Goose is so much cooler.
-
I wrote a similar topic to this if you want to see. I think that the Didact will appear evil at first, and then it will be revealed that he is good. http://www.343indust...__+didact +will

I like this theory but how did you conclude that the Flood and Precursors were of the same species? (Other than the Gravemind saying, "I am the last Precursor.")
-
Can I vote for a character that is in the storyline but not a clone of Chief? I think it will be the spartans on the INFINITY

Well the only thing I can figure out from the video is that it definitely shoots alternating fire. 0:26 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1qa4fcqBxY&feature=related
