No one really likes to talk about Halo on the Bethesda forums. So around E3 of 2012 I wanted to talk to other Halo fans. Google 343 forums and this was the first link.
I question my riddle making abilities, so I will keep it short.
Power
Leadership
I am the most special of our kind
Those who see me fear me
And those who feel me die
I hail from hell itself
Desiring only blood
Not sure how I have never noticed this thread here before considering I have been a member since 2012...
I am disappointed that everyone seems to be taking a picture with a potato.
Not exactly sure how your phrasing is supposed to be interpreted here, but it is quite obvious that changing Halo 4 to keep up with the norm didn't work out in the long run.
I hope 343 isn't stupid. It is hard to ignore all the vehement feedback they received on the multiplayer. One would think they would change the multiplayer to be more like Halo 2/3 than to make it further from that.
Since I suck at getting headshots I am going to go with the beam rifle. If the Binary rifle is a choice then I choose it, I have absolutely no problem hitting the bottom. Plus it is pleasing to see people run from your sight.
What you want is a strategy game. This one should do, http://www.uberent.com/pa/
Also a high time to kill in Halo would be awful. It's been slow since 2001 and it is going to remain slow.
They're all 'compatible' except Fall of Reach. The Flood is the only other one that takes place during one of the games and that is just a retelling of the game itself. First Strike is the story of how Master Chief got back to Earth for Halo 2. Ghosts of Onyx, Cole Protocol, and Harvest are all sort of independent stories with information on some main characters. The Kilo-Five trilogy is what happens between Halo 3 and 4. And the forerunner trilogy is to enlighten us about the forerunner.
Yep, not a fan. In case you were wondering I wasn't a huge fan of Halo legends either. When I envision a Spartan they don't have big eyes, perfect skin, poofy hair, and chiseled features.
According to the books. The game took like 3 seconds. That is how the scene portrays it at least.
Edit: It seems I overlooked one important detail and that is they time stamped when the Autumn arrives at the ring. I don't know they date they left though so it doesn't tell me anything.
I was totally expecting some 'meh' anime drawings of Halo, but now I am pleasantly satisfied. Except for that one that is anime, my vision of a Spartan is definitely not that.
I especially like the one where Chief is smashing that Elite with his rifle.
If I recall it is supposed to be about something unrelated to the games. Might just be my own fantasy.
I also anticipate a Halo 2 Anniversary at E3. Will be mildly surprised if it isn't there.
If it were up to me I would have had some 3rd party developers make a strong single player game to come out this year. One that won't detract from Halo 5 or ruin the 'Halo 2 experience'. But something to add a good chunk of lore to the universe and keep people satisfied for another year. I doubt that will ever happen though.
I don't mind if they do an anniversary thing every 10 years, but pushing one out every ten years after the game has released seems like overkill. I would still buy them though cause I'm a chump.
