  1. Well, I personally believe that Destiny just looks like a rip-off of all the popular sci-fi works of fiction and I won't get it, but it will sell well. If it is open world I suspect it will sell even better. Really at this point Halo will get really big, or fade away. It's getting a Star Wars treatment right now, and we will see if that is successful or not.
  2. Fortunately it is becoming a TV series, with Spielberg working on it.
  3. There is no incentive to fix it, either 343 will make everything better with Halo 5, or Halo 6 may not ever see the light of day.
  4. Call of Duty hurt Halo or Halo 4? Right after 2007, it was clear cut what people wanted, the quick paced FPS game was the popular thing. Halo, never being all too quick paced action didn't become the number one selling game, but certainly not dead. I won't be surprised if a new style of games becomes the norm, specifically sandbox games. Skyrim being watered down so much, and selling so much is some evidence of that. If GTA V gets huge profits I won't be surprised if an open world call of duty game comes out.
  5. Look in a mirror and start talking, Microsoft now has all that information.
  6. I'm on then fence, one hand it is an all in one kind of thing, but on the other it should totally be called Big Brother and only be sold in the UK. I'll probably end up getting a WiiU once the big games come out for it, the playing the console on the tablet while in the bathroom is very appealing.
  7. I personally don't think that Destiny will be any type of lead. On the 360 and PS3 you could watch over the years how a ton of that social interaction just died. Halo 3 was a far "friendlier" community when it came to people actually talking and making custom games than Reach or 4 will ever be, but that is because of people and not necessarily the games. Really all you have to do is look at a small scale type of Destiny game, which is Borderlands and Borderlands 2. Destiny isn't a new idea, it is just a bigger idea, and Borderlands hasn't exactly caught that explosion of popularity, even with two games. I think that 10-20 years from now fast-paced FPS games will have mostly died out unless they incorporate some great new ideas. And I think the Battlefield style of game will be what it dies out as. Fortunately for Halo though it is a pretty large multi-media franchise so it probably won't go away for a long time. And once Microsoft sees where all the money is going they will be sure to have 343 make a Halo game like that opposed to what it is now.
  8. I could see us being Chief or some other UNSC personnel going to the Lekgolo planet, that definitely seems to be in the realm of possibility. Just saying playing as a hunter probably wouldn't be too great.
  9. The problem with a hunter based game is that the story would probably be pretty terrible. The worms work in a survival type of way due to their primitive brains, so there would literally be no character development from the protagonist.
  10. 1. Connor isn't a terrible protagonist. You just have to change your viewpoint from Ezio to actually understand Connor and where he is coming from. 2. In that time you play as one of, if not the best character the series offered though. In general the characters in AC 3 are far more compelling that past games. 3. How does that even make a game bad? Regardless you are still an assassin for the majority of the game. 4. I can agree on that one, for something they set up so much in the previous games they just sort of left it out in AC 3. 5. Stealth has always been complete garbage in all of the games. AC was probably the best, but still nowhere close to being a very good stealth game.
  11. I would see that game being pretty bad considering that the NCR has controlled LA for about 100 years now. Besides some crime and gang stuff I don't see anything really happening. No, Fallout 3 probably started a trend. TES game, Fallout game, TES game, Fallout game, etc. Obsidian made Fallout New Vegas, Bethesda just published it.
  12. MIA, lost in space, same thing. Captain Cutter puts everyone but himself into cryosleep, but I don't know how that would affect a person, being in that state for decades.
  13. Didn't the ship in Halo Wars get lost in space? They were never able to inform anyone of anything. The Covenant seem to know what the flood is in Combat Evolved.
  14. If you ask me the decision to make the flood precursors (I doubt that that was the intention in combat evolved) was a bad one. That is just a total let down, the whole using them as a test was a better reason for their existence if you ask me, with the humans finding a "cure" and all that. But now it was just them deciding to stop attacking the whole time. That also just makes the forerunner look like a bunch of chumps. They can beat the precursors in their best form, but not when getting there. Or is it the precursors that are a bunch of chumps? I think they have begun to go to deep into everything. It just feels that we might get a Star Wars kind of incident where force=bacteria.
  15. Well considering that the flood are the precursors (which is a total let down among other things) it could be possible.
  16. The Infinity, personally leading humanity to space exploration.
  17. Halo 4 has better gameplay and a better overall story. Halo 3 has better multiplayer. Halo 4 wins.
  18. That was probably it then, just remember 343 banning people so I associated it with Halo 4. And not ban, but suspension.
  19. "We don't like the DMR" said people when the game came out. "We don't like the assault rifle" says people now.
  20. The penalty was the banning that everyone was so upset about when the game came out. I don't know if they removed that or not.
  21. He wears MJOLNIR Mk VI armor. It is an artistic retcon, so the Mk VI in multiplayer is just fan service.
  22. It is impossible to get all your skills or SPECIAL maxed out without cheating. And I don't see why you would want to anyways having focused skills is more fun if you ask me.
  23. The flood isn't a society as a vital component is missing from that, which is culture. The abolition of culture would make them just working for a ideology, and ideology that ins't even theirs but a gravemind's. Also Utopia means perfect society so without the society they cannot be a Utopia. As we learn more about the Forerunner I'd say they were about as close to a Utopia as one could get without being a drone.
  24. Get rid of those long ones like hopping up the elevator, that does nothing to add to the experience of the game. The single button ones aren't that bad if they make you lose at them if you press the wrong button or wait too long.
