This isn't an RPG, the marines don't have stats. Anyways I don't remember how marines worked in previous games. Did they ever advance past your character, because I like how they don't run ahead of me in this game.

This is completely wrong, just so you know. Same goes for the Elder Scrolls, but to a lesser extent. I also don't see how Halo 4 isn't a "real game". This thread reeks of historical revisionism being used to rationalise a misguided sense of superiority

I'd really like to see the, try their hand at a Battlefield like map, with a corresponding game type. They might have to make the vehicles speed faster if they did do that though. -
1. Make the Didact a dynamic character 2. Go to Sangehelios 3. Re introduce the Arbiter 4. Arbiter dies 5. Sarah Palmer dies 6. Halsey dies 7. Cortana doesn't return 8. Longer campaign 9. More "exciting" ending 10. Good story in general Two reasons, first is that it isn't MJOLNIR armor, and second technology doesn't stay dormant, the ability to augment humans has improved.

That is what Halo has been renowned for since 2007. In fact that probably the base demographic for all FPS games starting with Halo 3.

Depends, they have a nervous system that can obviously feel pain. But they are covered in an exoskeleton so basic touches might not even register in their brain.

Okay, that makes more sense now. Earlier it just seemed so... weird as to the reasoning that you didn't like it. I can see where you are coming from, but I personally like the weapon. It can control areas quite well while I find that the turret struggles at this. Basically Saw is for indoor engagements (and it obviously excels over the assault rifles due to it being a power weapon) and the Turret for outdoors.

I don't see how the SAW changes that. A marine uses every single other UNSC weapon that Chief can use.

So is your entire game playing just using mounted turrets? Every other weapons would have a marine who uses it or specializes in using it.

They could add whatever in a DLC. If they did add physical things through they would have to make a brand new forge specifically for the new maps to use the new items though.

It will probably take place between UNSC and Covenant trying to get the other key part. Then I'm guessing the very end of Spartan Ops will be Halsey obtaining a forerunner fleet from the key.

The grenade never pierced his armor. It just was stuck on it as you can see it sitting there. Even when it explodes there is no rupture in his armor. He then proceeds to fall into a slip space portal which most likely spat him out on Requiem. From there who knows.

The Covenant don't have a home world. The Arbiter's elites live on Sanghelios, but there is no reason to attack them. The Storm group just live on their ships I believe.

The people who keep playing are just waiting for the moment to say I told you so and rub it in to others faces. Halo 3 was never more popular than Modern Warfare 2, mainly because MW2 came out in 2009.

The reason is obvious. 6 million casual players buy the game. 1 million normal players buy the game. The 6 million drop out a few weeks after launch because they don't care as they are the casual gamer. So BOOM, major player drop there. The 1 million play for a while and slowly trickle away. Of course not everyone is on at the exact same time.

They said the series will stay in America and only move forward in time. Also the resource wars game you mentioned was just an idea and was never to be made into a game. And it also happened in Europe before the Great War I believe. -
Dead Space 4 will only be made if EA finds Dead Space 3's profits to be "good enough". If the games legacy depends on EA it will always come down to profits.

If they added dual-wielding, people would dual-wield the boltshot, then every single person ever would complain about it.

I don't see it working very well. The players in Halo are far more mobile than in Battlefield.

Forerunner armor can be made to survive slip space travel I believe. If so, then the Didact more than likely survived as the only damage he sustained was from a pulse grenade. For 5 I would like to see something like this: Arbiter asks UNSC for help because the Storm group is attacking Sanghelios Chief and friends go to back them up Surprise an army of Prometheans comes from no where and starts destroying everything Chief witnesses the Didact return and kill the Arbiter Halsey plots revenge Chief tries to help Halsey instead of killing her After finding out Halsey was just using him, Chief forces himself to kill Halsey Chief is extra sad at the end of the game. -
Pretend the game would go with the lore and not the gameplay. The Assault Rifle would be far far better than the battle rifle and DMR. What I mean is in the game the Assault Rifle is only really accurate about 20 feet in front of you. Guns (assault rifles) today can be accurate up to at least 400 meters away. 7 meters is really far off of that. So imagine that in a battlezone it can actually hit something accurately 200-300 meters away.
