    This is a ridiculously easy question to answer. In 2004-2005 Halo 2 was the only big game on xbox live. People saw this and wanted to make xbox live games themselves. Expecting Halo to be better than a game as large as Call of Duty is foolish.

    The Assault RIfle is fine, can't speak for Storm Rifle as I never use it. The Carbine does need to be beefed up though.

    In the first games Bungie wanted the player to feel as they were the Chief. This is definitely apparent in Halo 2 and 3 as his already limited dialogue in CE were extensively cut. The only other time that any real character development was happening was with the Arbiter in Halo 2, but at some point it just fizzled out, like they really tired in his first few levels, but then quit.

    When she and Chief are in the hardlight shield, she says something that seemed to imply that she would be back, forgot the words though.

    The flood had thousands of years to build up, prepare, and evolve against humanity and the forerunner 100,000 years ago. In 2552 they had a few months to prepare. If the year went to 12552 then I'm sure no one would have beat the flood without the Halo rings.

    I imagine that they type 343 forums or Halo 4 forums into google. This forum is the first link to pop up so they come here.

    What about the flood that took over ancient humans then acquire their armor and weapons. Or flood that targets civilian locations and immediately makes a massive army. The flood is completely handicapped in the gameplay, so you have to think about the lore.

    I hope they give a bit of detail right at the end of Spartan Ops during their last season.

    Like what multiplayer? Unless the entire game is multiplayer (counter strike, Battlefield) then it should not be what carries the game. It is not hard to see that 343 wants to make the game more about the story seeing as they have w web series, books, and Spartan Ops to compliment the campaign. If it were up to me I would just give it Halo 2 multiplayer. That way so little work would actually go into the matchmaking more attention could be put into the story.

    You are talking about the Didact's personal opinion right? There is your answer right there, personal opinion. He is basically spoiled. Either way the humans defeated the flood because they injected like a third of their population with some virus, then left them to die. The flood attacked these people and died out, and to get away the humans took forerunner worlds and destroyed those that were infected by the flood. From my understanding if it weren't for the flood the humans would be able to battle the forerunner and potentially win. It was the flood that caused the humans to lose in the first place, not the forerunner.

    He is probably walking around in his sweat pants in some ONI base just relaxing or whatever. Taking off his armor doesn't mean they put new armor on. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to retire him, but he is informed that there may be a way to get Cortana back, so he will go fight dudes again.

    You know when you go on the mega grav-lift thing that brings you to the Didact. Cortana mentions that a large slip space rupture is opening up under the Composer. Well from Spartan Ops

    He fell into a slip space portal, so he is wherever that leads to.

    Fallout 3 had a bad plot that was stolen from Fallout and Fallout 2, and the game had so many inconsistencies such as the entirety of Broken Steel. While New Vegas has a solid story with different types of morals to finishing the game. Bethesda gave Obsidian a whopping year and a half to make the game. They would have to release what they had at the end of that time. In doing this Obsidian had essentially a day to make every location in the entire game. And you mention weapons, but that is the thing people enjoyed far more in New Vegas, plus the unique weapons actually look different, so I think you are just making that up. Regardless Fallout 4 will most likely get the Skyrim "treatment" and be full of "cool things" over a logical game world. (Todd Howard)

    I don't think it is any event, just an epilogue of what is to come.

    You can't unearth mysteries, when you aren't on Earth. Anyways if Halo 4 wasn't what you expected, you better start lowering your expectations drastically or you are going to disappoint yourself again.

    Not if you look at the story, characters, logic, and connection to the previous games. Fallout 3 is like a black sheep that was more or less designed to appeal to the masses, which it did successfully.

    Spartan Ops is far more enjoyable to me. I really enjoy the story and episode things.
