Is Halo 5 going to be a Halo game?
WonderWombat replied to Isaac Kleiner's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
Your avatar is Jar Jar Binks, therefore all your points are invalidated. -
Your problem seems to be that you're stuck in the first decade of the 21st century and have yet to move on. Expecting a franchise that is 11 years old to deliver a completely new and unheard of experience is foolish. And you used one of the cheesiest lines I know of as a feeling of greatness, so I thought that was funny. I understand why some may not like it, but I think it is unfair for Halo 4 to be bashed and all the previous games are praised, especially since they were also riddled with problems.

Thank u 343 for destroying halo 4's online player capacity
WonderWombat replied to Lee James Garry's topic in Halo 4
You should probably get a new provider of information because all your figures are blown out of proportion. -
Just imagine if Bad Company 2 had jets and the amount of custimizing in Battlefield 3. That would be great.

So I have been of the forums for some time...
WonderWombat replied to Unease Peanut's topic in Halo 4
Same goes for Halo 3. Basically it is normal for every game sequel. Come 5 years from now people will be begging 343 to make Halo 6 like Halo 4, and they will be utterly pissed when it is different. -
They should make it like Halo 2, but not as bad. It should have many variables to rank you up instead of a few.

I like the Halo 4 intro music, don't remember any more of it though. But it is an appropriate change as the original music doesn't seem to fit into Halo 4, it isn't as triumphant or joyful as the other three games. All Halo themes are better than Halo 2's guitar one, that was pretty horrible.

World Record finish campaign legendary solo in 9:41
WonderWombat replied to Jeffrey Detoisien's topic in Halo 4
No I doubt it. -
What made the first one great was the story. Any person could be amused by the gameplay, but what made it interesting was the story. Halo 2 and 3 did not quite follow suit here, Halo 2 more so than 3. Halo 4 is really invested with the story, but unlike Combat Evolved they didn't allow for everyone to follow along. Now coming from a multiplayer standpoint, Halo has always been "meh". This is because it was meant to sort of be a bonus thing to the actual campaign. But a focused group of people have always enjoyed this "meh" for whatever reason. 343 tried to expand beyond this and broaden the crowd. And common sense says make the smart decision instead of the risky one. So they made an appropriate business decision and implemented ideas from the most popular games and added it into their game. So instead of having many people complain about this new "bad" multiplayer they now have a handful of people complaining about how it is similar to a game they hate because of its popularity. What I want 343 to do is give the multiplayer less attention. In doing so they can strengthen their story and gameplay, while the multiplayer falls back to a Halo 3 sort of status and just be "meh" again so the small crowd can enjoy it.

Not playing H4 again until something is done about the bolt shot
WonderWombat replied to rush0024's topic in Halo 4
Not since World at War. -
But it is incredibly easy to predict where people with it are if you are that worried about it. Then if you just can't muster up the ability to thwart that boltshot users evil plans then just hang back and shoot at people from a distance.

I doubt it, the hit box issue would be a much bigger problem for knights than elites.

I don't either, but people swear that it is too far. From my experience the range is 3-5 feet in front of you, hardly anything.

I was helping you see another viewpoint, which I have succeeded at. Now apply your current views of these things are ridiculous to some of us who see your points on Halo 4. -
But the problem with that is that the gun will basically become useless at this point. Why use it when you can use the much better plasma pistol. If they nerf it at all the only thing they should do is decreases its range by a couple feet or something.

To me it isn't that great by itself, but when you're working with team mates it is a great weapon.

The first Halo wasn't about precision weapons, the Battle Rifle and Carbine ruined the entire game. You could play as the Arbiter and almost have infinite camo. There was no health bar, so that sucked. Killing the flood got too easy, the challenge they brought in the first game flew out the window. And they added multiplayer, way to ruin my LAN parties bungie. And dual wielding, that was like way overpowered, especially with needlers. That's not a Halo game!!! -

Halo 2 wasn't a Halo game, it changed too much, and altered gameplay. -
Well if the file share worked you could always set it up like a child bully. "This map, this time, be there!" But it is currently broken, so that wouldn't work.
-
Why don't you forge a 1v1 map?
-
I'm wondering how you managed to spend more than $500...
-
It wouldn't have made any sense as War Games has been made to have logic behind it.
-
Well I guess single player game can die in a hole too?

How to understand the Slang in Internet World
WonderWombat replied to Cassandra Saturn's topic in General Discussion
I've only seen 2 of these before... -
I believe it was along the lines that the Forerunners had failed the galaxy and it was time to give up the mantle to another contender. Of course the Didact didn't feel this way, so whatever happened with him happened. So I'm guessing that the guilt emotion in forerunner is way stronger than ours.
