In Spartan Ops, I get a nice solid 3,000 xp every game.

I believe you are getting two different things mixed up. You actually got banned from being AFK, where as those who use the double XP hit the ex limit for the day, which means they have to wait until tomorrow to start earning experience again.

I use default. It is like a combo between Reach and Call of Duty's. Call of Duty has a solid controller layout, and I'm most familiar with Reach, so that's good for me.

There was a quote or something in the game manual stuff I believe that Parangosky was reluctant to put Del Rio in charge of the Infinity because he wasn't a great Captain, but more of a manager. So going by this I wouldn't be so quick to praise him with all my glory about his great captain skills. His actions were understandable though, but he did get a bit crazy in front of his crew, not a good self image there. Especially when no one listens to him. And he was fired for a good reason. He completely abandoned the man who played a pivotal role in the human-covenant war and destroyed the flood in the process. There is literally no comparison in the real world to compare this to. Edit: Also you can't use the USMJ as a valid argument. The UNSC is the United Nations not the United States. Nothing enacted by the USA 700 years ago really applies to the UNSC, or the UEG.

CQC from Reach needs to return.

It will be fixed when they patch the game, and I suspect these maps packs will be better than Reach's as the forge worlds in Halo 4 fon't overshadow every single map.

They can be Spartan-0's.

Chances are some market study was done to see if the double xp incentive would have effected sales anywhere else. And with how it goes chances are that in places that are not America there was no profit whatsoever, or little profit made. They also did some promotion in the UK. https://www.mountaindewenergy.co.uk/

Anyways, I also hate this. I think it has only happened to me once though. I was assassinating some guy that me and a team mate were both moving after. My assassination was the first move at even hitting him, so I wasn't stealing the kill. It appears as he is going to walk away as he walks a few steps ahead. But then he decides to turn around and kill the enemy guy....

Though he is right in a sense. Halo's fan base, for the most part, is really really...really awful. He just went about saying it in a bad type of way. Edit: Also I think we were given a good warning about this happening (I even mentioned it a few times). If this runs similar to Skyrim over at the Bethesda forums they will clear out in about 3 months, unfortunately.

Though you had your problem I have seen less and less boltshots being used. In the past 20 games or so I've seen 1 or 2 actually tried to be used. It seemed to be a more popular weapon a week ago, but since it is a secondary people easily forget about it.

FORERUNNER MISSION NOT RECOGNIZING LEGENDSRY ACHIEVEMENT
WonderWombat replied to mikeuhh's topic in Halo 4
I suggest you don't type in all Caps, no one likes that and it dissuades people from even looking in the thread. Anyways, at any point in time were you offline, because that seems to mess with the campaign. -
Being smart =/= Being a Scientist Plus these are Spartan IV's who began their training as an adult, I wouldn't think the UNSC would teach them math or science very much, but instead Sun Tzu's art of war and strategy and defenses. Plus these spartans seem to like going into combat, while scientists obviously don't. So there are some clear differences here.

Sometimes people just don't like to hear others talk, so they mute them. And there might be an auto-mute system which will keep you muted for a while because too many people already muted you. So chances are it wasn't because you did anything.

It's probably their Promethean lag power. That would be a cool power if it actually existed.

Halo 4 is the biggest disapointment to ever grace the Xbox 360.

See here, this is exactly why your skill has seemed to have dropped. CQC has changed dramatically to a secondary form of combat opposed to a primary form. -

What you have to adapt to is the speed if the game, but you can't forget the fact that Spartans have shields either. In previous games it seemed that each player more or less ran at each other while shooting, and if given the oppurtunity they would beat the other person to death. This is not the case anymore and that run gorward and shoot strategy is gone. What you need to do is strade off to the sides while keeping your accuracy, it seems to work for me. Plus people seem to be smart and go in teams opposed to attacking by themselves, so be aware of this and know that dying will be common. Just try and get at least one kill before each death. Also don't be scared to run away when you are being attacked from long distances, usually if you are hit first you will die. And choose your ordinance wisely, you don't always have to get the weapon. -
I think it has to do with your accuracy. Same with the Carbine. For the DMR and BR it is okay if you are a little unaccurate, but the other two require precision accuracy which I seem to have for the light rifle, but not so much with the carbine.

What controller setting is the best/what do you use?
WonderWombat replied to Rob T's topic in Halo 4
Default, it is like a mix of Reach's and Call of Duty's control scheme. I like the Reach familiarity, and Call of Duty has a good control layout, so it works well for me.- 4 replies

Did you play those campaign missions offline? It seems to glitch when you move off and online while playing it.

Yeah me too. Anyways to the question at hand here. I think lag causes it to not work as I have experienced this before when I have bad connection. Then the one second sprint may be due to the invisible reload time of sprint. You don't get the full sprint back immediately after use, so when you try to use it again right after you finished sprinting it will only last for a second or two.

Holy crap, the color scheme burns my eyes!

Exactly. Just like the DMR. Reach: "Bloom is bad, take it off!" Halo 4: "The DMR needs to be nerfed, add more bloom!"
