    In Combat Evolved and 3 marines say the cavalry arrived when they see the chief, so since the cavalry arriving is a bad thing I am going to guess this is Covenant related. But the peace thing is throwing me off. Since it is an organization I am just going to say the Covenant.

    I think this Agent Locke is tracking down Chief. Not to kill him, but to talk to him, or more specifically bring him back to Earth so he can be talked too. To me it seemed like he went to the Arbiter because Chief might have visited him. Why would Locke just show up on Sanghelios and ask where the Chief is without a good reason, that wouldn't make sense. The Arbiter probably told him something philosophical about how his actions are needed to save the day, but Chief is just like "I need Cortana man..." then leaves abruptly. Locke comes along and wants to know what is going on, but learns nothing. So the Arbiter tells him that he needs to learn everything about the Chief to find him. Not because he wants to help as he explicitly states but he is needed for something important. So then Locke studies all there is (which is the Master Chief Collection) and then goes on his way.

    Will Spartan Abilities actually replace armor abilities or is that just speculation? If it is an option it just seems like a renaming of armor abilities and Frank's comment didn't make it sound like that. In the video we clearly see a guy ramming a person with his shoulder, a guy sliding into cover, and the ground pound thing. I just think these are things we will be able to do. Just seems like the shoulder thing would be a weak melee attack that could stumble an unexpected enemy possibly by holding the rb button. Sliding could be while sprint press button to slide. And the ground thing would just be while high enough hold button to fly straight down.

    The Master Chief collection. I don't like Co-op in Assassins Creed, and everything else I don't really have an interest in. What they showed of the Witcher looked awkward and was just alright. Far Cry 4 was pretty cool though. Everything else was expected or pretty lame.

    Why is the Beta so far away from the release date? Will they really need 9-10 months to add and fix everything? Maybe they will have a second beta release. I'm glad they made it Dec 27, let a log of people get it for Christmas before starting.

    I'm curious as to how a skill based system would work considering it is 2015. I can't recall a mainstream game that has had a skill based system since Halo 3. Wonder how it would be received. Anyways I think there should be a skill system, but more to it than just winning and losing. There are times in Halo 4 where I had been with a team that was just garbage and I would often do better than most on the enemy team. I think it should be possible for a 'loser' to still gain skill points. Maybe you are so good that you get +3 units of points after a game but the loss gives you -1 unit of points. But some guy on the winning team killed himself a couple times and just sucked overall, so he gets +1 from the win but -1 from sucking. I just think there should be more variables to skill instead of winning or losing.

    I preordered the normal game without any premium who-ha. Even though I never ran into any problems I got bored with the game. I was more disappointed with the game and not the bugs (as I ran into one of them), but I wasn't furious. I just figured oh well, it is just a video game and I spent $60 when I should have spent $20. Plus this new one is at least a completely different subject. It would really be a slap in the face if they released another modern military shooter. It has the potential to actually be a new experience.

    Jeez, it is just a video game company. I don't want to ruin the lives of several thousand people because I am displeased by a video game. Regardless it isn't BF5 so it won't be anything too new technology wise. And Visceral is making half the game while DICE is just sticking multiplayer in it, likely a refined version of BF4.

    No one knew about the Holocaust until the end of the war. The US was there because after Pearl Harbor and the declaration of war on Japan Hitler decided it would be a good idea to then declare war on the US. So the US entered the war in Europe because Hitler declared war on them and Churchill was practically begging at that point in time. Eventually the big three powers met in Iran to discuss their plan. Stalin wanted a Western front open and in exchange the USSR would fight Japan after victory in Europe. So Operation Overlord was planned, DDay. It wasn't until after the allies were successfully in France that they decided to go into Germany for their self interests in order to prevent the USSR from spreading it's influence further west. I would like to know where you got your facts from and your certainty that the US soldiers had no idea why they were fighting Hitler.

    If it came out this year then publishers and developers would have been making last gen titles up to this point and the game would likely come out in late 2015 or 2016. I've mentioned this before but this generation is very similar to last generation in terms of games coming out. Not sure how old you were in 2005/6 or if you remember it but the consoles really didn't get huge until Halo 3 and Call of Duty came out which was in 2007, 2 years after the 360 released.
