Uhh, Promethean are Forerunner. And Forerunner did use pistols. This is shown on Legends. Dats a Pistol. -

I think it looks like the Plasma Pistol but Forerunner -
For actual Spartans there are few ranks. Just 10 or so. 343 would have to implement the UNSC's army, navy, air force, or marine ranks.

Yeah... no. The Earth is governed by the Unified Government of the Earth. The UNSC is a branch of the Government, just like the Secretary of Defense of (Almost) any Country... Spartans are under UNSC's Special Forces. But they were developed by the ONI, and some serve them. DUDE!!! SERIOUSLY! STOP ASKIN FOR LIKES! We have Youtube, and FB for things like dat.

I don't think its an SMG. I don't think we will be seein' an SMG anytime soon in Halo. I think its some sort of Light Pistol. -
yeah, I've wondered... Why EMP for fighting the FLOOD!? They do not used shields. EMP would not affect the Flood.

They are handpicked, ex-military. They were given the options to accept or decline. Those who accepted, were trained, and given The MJOLNIR GEN 2 armor, and their respective variants. For example, if Johnson had survived, (and many said he actually did) he would have given the Choice to be a new breed of Spartan. He would have been given a Bad-aye MJOLNIR gen-2 armor, and be trained to battle with and in it.

Spartans are ACTUALLY part of the UNSC, which is not Navy, but (I guess) somewhat like a combination between Army, Marines and Navy. But Spartans are also, part of the ONI which is the Office of Naval Intelligence. So I'm guessin' ranks should be a special Spartan ranking.

That's right, Bornstellar didn't hated humans, in fact, he was something like a friend to Chakas. But after the first Didact (I still don't recall on him hating humanity) transfered his mind into the new Didact, and supposedly take over his mind, I'm not very sure about humanity's fate on this Didact's mind

Why do you keep saying the Didact hates the humans? If I remember well, he didn't. On the skull, it could be made by the A.I. Itself just to try to scare Chief. I don't believe that the Promethean Knights, being AI, have skulls.
