  1. I have halo collectables lining the walls of my room, and honestly having that many toys staring at you freaks out my friends, and like King Brony there, I have a Twilight Plushie that somehow moves about my room, and it's like a dog that always runs between your feet and I always trip over it!
  2. I always just wanted to sit down with the writers and learn about what they do and how they turn it into a working project. I f anyone hears anything about an event like this in Chicago, or Joliet il. for some odd reason fill me in with a PM or something! Hope you had fun if you got to go!
  3. 54,932 and counting! Honestly I haven't acheivement hunted in a very long time, I just like to play through games on their hardest difficulty to get both a challenge and my moneys worth out of the time it takes.
  4. That's really neat, I always enjoy it when people take the time to be creative. I find the keyboard creations very interesting. /)^3^(\ I should try to learn a little about Sweden, Isn't Notch Swedish?
  5. Well I've answered a topic like this before, and here's what I had. Make a strategized third person shooter game, thats both gritty, and challenging. Basically combine Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future soldier gameplay mechanics with the Halo universe. Hopefully without all of the glitching and a bit more strategizing, and A LOT more use of equipment and choice of how to take on certain situations. That was my dream when I first heard about Halo 3 ODST when it first was announced. I wanted to see a halo game that took more thinking, with the strategy of a team of regular soldiers, or early stage spartans, going through a technically fragile situation that reqiures the player to both plan ahead, utilize the tools and environment available, to enter a state of play that is variable upon your choice to handle the encounter and accomplish the missions. Teams of ODSTs or Marine Veterans would be very interesting, perhaps they could be doing The ONI spook work like they were in Glasslands. I could definitely expand on this further, and honestly, coming up with some very good Halo characters and a decent storyline wouldn't be too hard, it would just take a bit of thinking and some collaboration. Then get it into the gamestage, always make the player feel like part of the team, and make them feel like they know who they're working with. ODST was a good idea, it just needed to be expanded and worked on a little longer, this would make ODSTs point not to have been lost in vain, because I loved ODST for what it did for the characters, it just needed more.
  6. My friends and I do that all the time and we tend to find it hysterical, Just an hour ago though I had a male friend of mine talking to a female friend of mine in the same room as me talkin' about hookin' me up with a girl that would get along with me well, and my male friend hinted that my female friend was a likely option. I just satyed quiet and tried to figure out who the heck was talkin' to me on xbox live the past twenty minutes!
  7. I've written some drama, some people I know called it romantic/compassionate. It's MLP fanfiction though, the link is my signature. Really I'm just trying to get some readers to see what they think so I figured I'd just throw this comment in when I saw your post. (There is no adult content in them) worth a try on my part right?
  8. To me a player's skill is their determination to improve, love for the game, and overall the mental capacity to tolerate. If you speak on competative terms, then I say that a players tolerance is the key factor. Tolerance is keeping your cool in stressful and chaotic situations. If you are thinking differently than every other player, then you have the advantage, and you have the ability to out think them. Keeping your tolerance balanced manages your abilities to seek an alternative to situations that would regularly make players rage. Staying calm allows you to process information much faster and far more clearly than a player who is blood churning insults and running into bullets in a blind rage because their only goal is to end the player ending them. It most certainly doesn't work this way, losing your cool gets you killed over and over again. Remember everyone, and follow the best advice Halo 3 ODST has given us "Please Remain Calm!"
  9. My favourite aspect of ODST was the ability to free roam through the city at will, I wish they had expanded on that. It was a great game and the music was enjoyable. Though it did dissapoint me that it looked much like halo 3, nothing was upgraded, I loved the weapons though, but the silencers did nothing but make a different sound and had no purpose. I loved the game but I felt many parts of it were just a test run to get things running for reach. I very much do like Halo 3 ODST!
  10. Possibly, I have trouble getting most people to play ODST to begin with so I may be willing to help you out. I just get really busy though, I have school over the summer and do all manner of work at home so even if it says I'm online I might not even be in the room, just playing music off my xbox. I can help with Legendary difficulty.
  11. This is the first forum I've participated in so I am New New, to all of this. I do enjoy many of the miscellaneous topics that appear and everyone seems to play a common role of putting in their good feedback. Even better, everyone I have bumped into, or read about have been polite, and I have recieved no negative comments or someone lashing out at me for no reason. So as a forum first timer altogether, I am enjoying this. What's great is that when most people start a topic, or reply, most know or at least have a general idea what they're talking about, I love it, nobody pretends to know things so much.
  12. Everyone here has some really great ideas on this but we need to remember that if too many individual objects are placed within the game it will lag horribly or just freeze, they have to have a safe limit on how much can be placed. I would like many of the vehicles that appeared in Halo Wars, but that depends on if they are in Halo 4 to begin with. I would also like to place better scenery, like trees and foliage, more common civilian structures and military based structures from all armies, and some animated specials such as doors and breakable glass. Honestly it would be absolutely amazing to literally have forge be a sandbox, to have an empty area, to set a base terrain as desert, tundra, grassland etc., and manipulate it into a basic map. A dip here, a hill there, water in here. Then place more natural scenery like a large mountain like hill the player can't climb and so on yourself, and then all the basic player map items. I agree with Twilight Sparkle that Forge should have enough content to take a second disc itself, but hopefully wouldn't require only that disc to play on it, because we all know that people either sold their Halo 3 campaign or their mythic and realized, "Oh snap, I don't have the maps!"
  13. I absolutely agree with that. Games definitely need to go back to they way they were, as in they required some amount of skill and concentration in order to get through it. So many people I know these days won't play a game because they say it's too hard. I don't want to spend $60 on an hour long campaign, I want to spend $60 on something that's going to literally consume my time. Give me something to do! That's why I spend sixty bucks, for a time consuming challenge.
