  1. It is, Church can prove, I sent it to him at 1am EST, there wasn't enough time to and even so I don't have any photoshop-like devices on my PC.
  2. Everyone loves Metal Gear Solid, and quite a bit of those stupid mobile games, ugh. *spit* I never liked the concept of DayZ or H1Z1 either but people ate those games up.
  3. Good mornin' ladies and gents, welcome to the Weekly News Wrap-Up for the end of January! As we begin our dark descent into the month of loooooove (ew) I want to thank you all for the tremendous support over this past year, as about a year ago I became your MoM and soon rose to a staff position. A year later I'm still going strong and couldn't have done it without you all behind me. Love aside, let's get down to the news of this week! View attachment: WNW 13115.png Battlefield Hardline Beta Bonus in Battlefield 4 + Details! (GameSpot.com) View attachment: battlefield-hardline.jpg If you're a Battlefield fan and cannot wait to play the Hardline beta on February 3rd, you may also have an interesting Battlefield 4 bonus awaiting you after playing. Just for playtesting Hardline you'll snag a nice looking Battlefield 4 dog-tag with the Hardline logo on it after the game's next patch in March. The tag will from then on be usable in Battlefield 4 only going right along with Hardline's launch in March. Playing the beta will not have content transfer to the final game. The beta will be available on all platforms except in Japan where the Xbox players will not have access to it. You can download it on Origin or over your respective console when it launches this Tuesday. Lead Writer of Borderlands Leaves Gearbox! (IGN.com) View attachment: borderlands2_review_massive_gamepage.jpg Borderlands is known for it's quirky pop culture based humour that, love it or hate it, has been prevalent in the series and part of it's identity for a long time, but that might be changing. Anthony Burch, the lead writer of the Borderlands series, who has worked on all of them to date, will be leaving Gearbox to pursue opportunities with television working with Hulu on a new series. While Gearbox hasn't commented publicly about his departure yet, he tweeted his support and thanks to the company and to the fans of Borderlands. This may be why Gearbox is choosing to look for help in building Borderlands 3, it is possible that after the Pre-Sequel many began to look for other opportunities like Burch. Either way, it's sad to see Burch leave the team, though I wish him luck in his future endeavors. Square Enix Announces Ultimate Stealth and Action Bundles! (GameInformer.com) View attachment: ultimate-triple-packs.png It seems that many companies are bundling their latest or most acclaimed titles together to receive a nicer payout and give fans a good deal, Square Enix is no different. The company is releasing two different bundles on March 31st at $29.99 a piece, each including three of their most critically acclaimed titles. The first bundle, called the Ultimate Action Triple Pack, will include Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider, and Just Cause 2. The second, the Ultimate Stealth Bundle, includes Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Thief, and Hitman: Absolution. These bundles are only coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3, so no current gen release for games like Hitman and Deus Ex unfortunately. 5. Absolutely. Level 30 Titan here, almost 31 with a few more Radiant Shards. So I'm up for Crota Normal or VoG Hard.
  6. Halo Waypoint is very 343i centered, you can get to them directly there (though it is harder than it sounds). We are a community forum, and have very few official connections. However, it would be great to have you stick around, even if you still want to get in touch with the REAL 343i.
  7. Wow, I didn't think that this would explode in controversy like this, so let me explain why 'X game' is or isn't on the list, based upon what you're saying. Halo: The Master Chief Collection isn't on the list because it is a remaster, I know that may sound odd, but it's the same reason I didn't put The Last of Us: Remastered, or Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on my best list. It's simply that the original games STILL EXIST and ergo, I cannot judge a game based upon it's remaster, it isn't fair to the game. Assassin's Creed Unity, while being disappointing, was a fun adventure that I overall enjoyed. You must remember that this is my subjective opinion, and in my opinion, AC Unity wasn't a terrible game. It wasn't worth $60, but it wasn't as bad as ANYTHING on this list. The reason The Elder Scrolls Online is on the list despite the fact I think you should still pick up the console version when it comes around is because of the game's horrible launch issues, subscription fee, and weak PvE. To say that I should 'expect' PvE to be bad DOESN'T EXCUSE IT. If you say I should expect to get lashed about 7 times with a sharp spear, that doesn't make LASHING ME WITH A SHARP SPEAR OKAY. And the same thing for Metal Gear, poor storytelling, expensive for it's content, and too little to do. I don't care if they say it's going to be a short prequel, that doesn't make it worth $30 at launch, and it was almost $40. One of the most incredible games of all time, FTL: Faster Than Light, is half the price of this and has MORE CONTENT and a better story. Also blah blah blah blah Destiny blah blah blah I enjoy it a bit more now.
  8. Hello everyone, if you remember I recently did my Top Ten Best Games of 2014 list highlighting the good this year had to offer. I’d like to point out that while this is the Top Ten Worst, not all games on here are absolutely abysmal. There weren’t many standout horrible games this year, more or less most were mediocre, not deserving of a best spot but also nowhere near the worst, so there had to be some cuts here and there. I will point out if a game in the first few on here may become decent through time or such, but anyway, let’s start! Number 10! Number 9! Number 8! Number 7! Number 6! Number 5! Number 4! Number 3! Number 2! Number 1! Alright, that's 2014, do let me know down below what you agree/disagree with, what you would've added or removed, and general feedback. Something on this list that you like and I don't, that's good, at least someone got enjoyment out of it! Thanks for reading guys.
  9. Hello there members of the forum! Welcome to the Top 15 Members of January 2015, this list was assembled by myself (Edward Kenway), Squidward Tortellini, Yoshi1176, Tony Stark, and the veteran Zaguroth! This month was definitely home to a lot of older members getting higher up and showing their true potential, kinda like me last year hehehehehe. Everyone on here did an awesome job, and if you didn't make it, don't be discouraged, there's always next month. Anyways, let's begin with the list, after this small message of course. Complaining about not being on the list will have you barred from next month's list as well, so be wary of what you post, and try to be supportive for the members that have made it, believe me, if you're trying, you'll make it. Maybe this wasn't your month, keep trying, dissing the members on the list or complaining about how you deserve a spot isn't the answer though. This is a message from Zaguroth Inc., all rights reserved, 2007-2015. Halo 5 Follower Kid Flash BATMAN Delpen PBrabbit Ash Melody Maggie Axilus Prime Yang E-runner Caboose Rrhuntington AnimeAddict We have no honourable mentions this month, congratulations to all above! I am extremely proud of all of the above, and I hope to see you grow and improve more and realize your TRUE POWER. Mwahahahahahahaha!
  10. IT'S BAAAAAAACK, I HOPE YOU MISSED IT! Back by popular demand from the rest of the staff telling me to get off my lazy butt and you members is the Weekly News Wrap-Up. These will be every week, and will usually premiere on Saturday or very late Friday if my watch is off. While you might not notice many changes in this issue, there will be a format overhaul in the way we do things, and it won't be JUST news stuff that you'd expect, however, the 3 articles packed in one are sticking. The WNW images will be changing as well, once I get the chance to speak to Austin and Jack of Harts. Anyway, let's go back with a boom! By the way, if you're wondering why this is called the JC15 Edition, it's because JC15 won the spot during the Christmas Raffle, so congrats JC15! Sorry it's late, I'll have a mod link this to you if you don't see it. Unto news! View attachment: WNW THE RETURN.png DayZ Sells Over 3 Million Units! (GameSpot.com) View attachment: dayz-ont-he-horizon-wallpaper.jpg Yes, you heard that news right, the highly played PC Early Access Survival MMO DayZ has sold over 3 Million units on Steam! Bohemia Interactive, DayZ's developers, announced this and had some kind words to say so fans, thanking them for their support in this early stage of development. "You all have helped make DayZ the best open world, zombie survival game. This is an amazing achievement, and we are really looking forward to start sharing with you all of our game design improvements, anti-hack solutions and other optimizations we have been working on for a majority of the last year." ~David Durcack, Project Lead Impressive numbers are not new for DayZ considering it's amazing reception at launch and the amount it sold in 4 weeks (1/3 of this). The game still has a long way to go though, as it was recently announced that DayZ would be coming to PS4 and likely Xbox One in 2016, with beta issues being ironed out on the PC along the way. Consider purchasing the game now though if you intend to as the price will raise when the game gets out of beta stage sometime in 2015. (IGN.com) View attachment: borderlands_the_handsome_collection_coverart_2k 2.jpg With the recent announcement of Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for current gen consoles and the recent release of Tales From the Borderlands, it's shocking that the next game may be on it's way soon. Borderlands 3 could be revealed at PAX South 2015 this year, as hinted from Randy Pitchford, the face of Gearbox and CEO. He slyly hinted at a Borderlands announcement when a fan asked about the sequel, though not confirming the third game. It could be a possible Borderlands 1 remaster as well, but seeing as The Handsome Collection isn't shipping with it, it seems odd for Gearbox and 2K to push two sets of remasters out at once not bundled together. What's also surprising is that Gearbox is currently (maybe not as much as we thought) pouring all resources into a MOBA for consoles called Battleborn, which looks to blend the artsy style of Borderlands with the gameplay reliant on coordination of DOTA. Either way, it will be an exciting year for Borderlands fans, you can be sure of that! Dying Light Recieves Free DLC For Region Launch Issues! (GameInformer.com) View attachment: Dying_Light_cover.jpg Games these days are no stranger to launch issues, bugs and glitches, even gamebreaking, are common, but launch issues pushing boxed copies back in release date because of shipping issues aren't as common. Dying Light unfortunately suffered this as the game's retail copies failed to ship properly in some areas and ergo caused a delay. North and South America will still get the game on it's intended release date of January 27th, and digital copies are unaffected in these countries as well, but others may be out of luck for a while. For some reason, the digital versions will be delayed about a day in Europe, Asia, and other regions and physical copies will be delayed for a staggering month! No game has received launch issues like this in a while, which is why the game's developers will be giving out free DLC for the delay. Anyone purchasing the retail game in any country will get the Cuisine & Cargo DLC and the Ultimate Survivor Pack for free, and the best part, the 'Be The Zombie' mode will be free for all, first labelled as a pre-order bonus. 12. All of my yes, it fits perfectly and could open up new gameplay doors, nothing too overpowered or too underpowered.
  13. The upcoming Battlefield spin-off, Battlefield Hardline, is getting the full treatment with new maps and modes, all revealed now! Battlefield Hardline looks to be packed to the brim with content, while it might not all be working content at launch (let's hope it works) it still looks quite fun. On battlefield's website, Battlefield.com, new images and descriptions were given to the game's 9 launch maps, compared to Battlefield 4's 10 launch maps, and the previous entries all being 9 as well. The new maps are, Downtown, Bank Job, The Block, Dust Bowl, Hollywood Heist, Growhouse, Riptide, Everglades, and Derailed. To top all this off, the game will ship with 5 different modes, the newest one being Crosshair. The other modes are Hotwire Mode, Heist, Rescue, and Blood Money. Crosshair will follow a 5 v 5 gameplay trying to keep VIPs alive for as long as possible while trying to eliminate all of the opposing team as quickly as possible. The maps will range from medium to small and will feature the past game's levolution. The game launches March 17th, 2015 with all this content for PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as the PC. View attachment: battlefield_hardline.jpg I must admit, even though Hardline doesn't look to do much to identify itself as a Battlefield game, it has some nice graphics and an overall interesting tone to it, nothing like I've seen outside of Counter-Strike. I'm not pre-ordering after the travesty that was Battlefield 4's launch, but Hardline is sticking on my radar. What about you, what do you think of Hardline so far? Do the maps and modes impress you? Let me know down below, thanks for reading folks!

  15. Today, Bethesda and Zenimax announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will be coming to consoles free of charge with the new Tamriel Unlimited Edition! If you don't remember, I did an article about a week back stating how Bethesda was hinting at the console versions of The Elder Scrolls Online being Free-To-Play, turns out, I was right. Today Bethesda announced over at PlayStation's (no word on the Xbox version yet) that the game will be launching this June 9th, earlier than expected, with the ability to play without a subscription fee. If you're wondering how much that saves you, consider the fact that the game costed $15 a month on top of your regular Xbox Live/PSN fee. As well, it has been decked out with a new white box art compared to the old standard version. Word on whether the PC version will be experiencing the free-to-play update is unknown, but likely, and same goes for the Xbox version, though both are nearly confirmed. Pre-orders for the Tamriel Unlimited Edition have not been updated yet, though I'll link them if they go up soon. View attachment: esof2p.png I'm quite pleased that Bethesda is doing this, though I can understand why PC players might feel that they've been used as scapegoats and beta testers for an unfinished and fee-ridden game. So if you feel that way, it's understandable, I won't argue, still great for console players though. What are your thoughts, will you be picking ESO up now? Let me know below, and thanks for reading! By the way I wanna thank Yang Xiao Long for linking this to me!

  17. Three? What? The Pre-Sequel and 2 are the only ones included in this, but yes, the series is great if you love loot dropping like hotcakes.

  19. 343i has released a set of Patch Notes for the Master Chief Collection that feature some new tweaks to the game and essential error fixes. If you don't consider the recent constant updating and tweaking to Halo: The Master Chief Collection after it's disastrous launch a huge red flag of 'Damage Control', I don't know what you would replace it with. Thankfully, 343i is doing their best to fix the game with a new patch now available for download, notes available on HaloWaypoint.com. The update makes massive changes to multiplayer searching increasing the success rate for matches and downplaying the 'Awaiting Privileges' error people received, among other small fixes such as sound tweaks to the countdown timer. The major general update to multiplayer was in the form of updating Halo 2 Anniversary's connection and decreasing bandwidth spikes. Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4's campaigns received stat tracking updates, and Halo 3 and 4's scoring for penalties for empty vehicles have been updated. The menus had minor changes such as the booming music volume being lowered and updates to multiplayer status messaging and drop out removal of emblems. If you are one of the six total people who use the Legacy controller scheme, you might have to adjust a bit as the scheme has been enhanced a bit, and finally, stability across all titles has been improved. View attachment: BHzv1iz.jpg It's great that they're looking to fix this stuff, but I want to see more focus on glaring issues such as connection between countries and states being improved as well as the game's blatant empty matchmaking system. There aren't enough game modes right now to make matchmaking viable, even with most people having an easier time getting into a game, and campaign is a mess with friends from different areas with bad connections, hell, I tried playing with Self Destruct (who lives in the US) and Halo 5 Follower (Australia), and only my framerate dropped with Halo 5, but I'd get kicked with SD. Anyway, what do you think could be improved besides the above? Let me know in the thread below, and I'll catch ya'll next time. View full article

  21. Hello everyone, welcome to my Top Ten Best Games of 2014, it’s that time of the year again. While this year was (for a lot of generic people) a disappointing year, I personally saw it as a… disappointing year. Yeah, not a lot of great gems this year, but with all the delays hopefully 2015 will be a bit better. However, there were still some beautiful games this year, so let’s talk about them! Number 10! Number 9! Number 8! Number 7! Number 6! Number 5! Number 4! Number 3! Number 2! Number 1! That above was my list, some honorable mentions that didn't quite cut the list but are still great include Forza Horizon 2, Assassin's Creed Rogue, Infamous: Second Son, and basically anything on a Wii U because the Wii U's entire library is fantastic and I do not own it yet which makes me angry. So what's your list? What made you feel the most happy about purchasing a console this year? Let me know down below, I'd love to hear, I'll see ya'll next time for the worst of the year!
