  1. Hello everyone and welcome to the the May 31st edition of the Weekly News Wrap-Up! I apologize for this being a few minutes late today, but I finally got my hands on Watch_Dogs for a few hours, and was getting very immersed into the game, and I just got to my PC again a little while ago! Don't fret, for the Wrap-Up is still packed with awesome content all in one place for your reading pleasure! So sit back, relax, and enjoy! View attachment: WNW 53114.JPG The Order: 1886 Delayed to Early 2015 One of Sony's largest exclusives of 2014 was The Order: 1886, following a steampunk styled Industrial Revolution during the Victorian Era, and an unknown and ancient threat, a plot that seems to show promise. I say 'was' because it was recently announced over on PlayStation.com in a blog entry that The Order would be delayed to early 2015, likely February, with a heap of other triple-A titles like Metal Gear Solid: V, Dying Light, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to name a few. The developer, Ready at Dawn, gave the typical reasoning for the delay, explaining how more time was needed to craft the game to perfection. "we have decided to spend some extra time to deliver on the promise we made . . . you can expect The Order: 1886 to come exclusively to the PlayStation 4 in early 2015." They said. View attachment: 2432359-the+order+1886+shot.jpg Are you pleased that The Order: 1886 has been delayed so that it can be adjusted and fixed to the appropriate state a game should launch in, or has this solidified your reasoning that the PlayStation 4 needs more games soon as it's running dry? Let me know below! Destiny 'Art of', 'Making of', and Poster Collection Books Revealed Destiny has had much hype leading up to it's fall release, but we're all left scratching our heads on scarce details for two main deals which Bungie has remained silent on, Destiny Books, and a Collector's Edition, and while the Collector's Edition has yet to be mentioned, we have received confirmation of three Destiny books! A Reddit.com user spotted the books in his June Comic Previews catalog and took a screenshot of them, showcasing the three different types mentioned above. Each is labeled as being ''Available only within the United States" which could be a complicated situation for those in outside countries looking for Destiny memorabilia. The Art of Destiny is 160 pages, the Poster Collection is 40 pages, and the Making of Destiny is 156 pages. The Artbook and 'Making of' run at $45 USD each and the poster collection at $24.99 USD. View attachment: DestinyBooks.jpg Will you be buying the three books, or just certain ones? Discuss below! Dishonored 2: Darkness of Tyvia Fact Sheet Leaked Dishonored was a huge game in 2012, and made a large mark in a year of innovative and new games that aren't widely known or have the biggest budget becoming large hits. It makes sense that reps from the development team would say things like, "We clearly have a new franchise" and this statement is further backed with the leak over on VG247.com, who's source leaked them a fact sheet for an E3 demonstration of Dishonored II. This sheet includes the information that the game will include a DOOM Beta access code, like Wolfenstein, and will be on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, as well as feature a new character with new powers hunting down the Outsider, possibly on a mission of revenge as the previous game's theme seemed to be. It will also include a Versus multi-player mode, run on IDTech5 Engine, and release sometime during 2016. Bethesda did speak to VG247 saying, “we don’t comment on rumour or speculation.” View attachment: dishonored-2-02-1024x521.jpg Do you want this fact sheet to turn out true, or is there some things you'd change, because now is for sure the time for feedback with E3 days away! Debate below about this rumor! Thank you for reading the Wrap-Up this week, if you like what you've seen here be sure to tune in weekly. Same News-Time, same News-Channel, I'll see you next time!
  2. Uh I had attended two of the original Ninjas v Forum events, I dunno if I qualify for the awards but I wanted to bring it up, thanks. EDIT: Just noticed I had 1 NvF already, if I'm entitled to two considering I attended two of them but only got one award, then go ahead, if not it's cool.
  3. The newly announced Visceral Games project Battlefield: Hardline, has had a detailed trailer leaked to the web showing off some new features in the game. Battlefield: Hardline has had the gaming community buzzing since it's announcement several days ago by Steve Papoutsis, the company VP and general manager, and today in typical fashion we have received a leaked trailer. Polygon.com, the only ones with an intact trailer after Electronic Arts took down the original video and any copies, posted the trailer which showed off the game's fresh new style of a Cops and Robbers scenario. They showed off the campaign, taking place in Omaha as you take on the role of a detective hunting down criminals and stopping heists. They also showed off new multiplayer modes like Rescue, in which you try to rescue hostages, pretty straightforward, and Heist, in which you either commit a heist or try to stop it. It's all very exciting, and will launch supposedly this fall on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. View attachment: Omaha.png Are you excited for Battlefield: Hardline with it's new dramatic theme and interesting and fresh modes, or will it take some more convincing for you to drop down into the Battlefield? Let me know below, and I'll see you next time!

  5. Guys guys guys calm down we all know who the REAL best option is... <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Just look at the profile name, then the like number, then vote.
  6. Voooote for meeeee... If you want that is, I had no clue I was in the running
  7. Seems like 343i is doing a lot of retconning with the things people didn't like in Halo 4, if that is they are the ones overseeing this series? Flood, Elites, Brutes, and more focus on the UNSC like it used to be. I honestly give them MASSIVE kudos as they are doing a lot to calm the old fans who hated Halo 4 (not saying I did). Good article my man
  8. Bnus: Sorry to say this but... You have Zoidbergitis, it's likely you were too close to Zoidberg related material and it spread to you. Symptoms are hard red skin, 'Whooping', or running around yelling "WHOOPWHOOPWHOOP", and an addiction to dumpsters. Solution: Apply 1 medium sized arrow to your left knee.
  9. The flag assassination in which you impale him in the face with the flag as you sit on top of him.... My god that's brutal, even by Halos standards. I just love the awesome poses and flow of it all and it's actually DIFFICULT to achieve, wow, an actual challenge?
  10. 10/10 Badass tones and hues, perfect shading and contrast, and everything fits well with it all, it feels 'complete' to me, like it's an actual piece of H5G propaganda. 10/10 would Halo 5 again.
  11. This is an amazing update with clarity that was definitely needed, a suggestion though? Mind plugging this into the 343iBot Auto Welcome PM with all the links to helpful rules and stuff so when people first arrive they can see it and don't get confused? Just think it'd help but up to you. Again, fantastic update Red!
  12. Halo: Escalation Issue #9's cover art has been revealed, showcasing the Didact landing a deft punch to Master Chief's visor, confirming his return and hinting at Master Chief's cracked helmet from trailers and promotional art and how it came to be. Halo: Escalation has done it's fair share of teasing and confirming new things in the Halo lore and hinting at future events in the newly announced Halo 5: Guardians. This post comes from Dark Horse's publishing website, ComicBookResources.com as today we received another tease as Halo: Escalation #9's cover was released, showcasing the Didact landing a hard blow to Master Chief's helmet and possibly his body armour before or after. The description reads, “In the days following the events of Halo 4, the Master Chief faced one of his greatest challenges . . . the Master Chief from the fires of Halo 4 to the pages of Escalation in “The Next 72 Hours” Part 2!” The price of Escalation #9 is $3.99 USD, launching August 27th with 32 available pages. 16. 8/10 It looks visually very appealing and the quoting and all is nice but... What the frack am I looking at RIGHT NOW?!!?!! It needs to be a bit sharper so the images can be seen clearer.
  17. FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRST Congrats guys! The community couldn't do without any of you, whether you made the list this month or not. Just keep working at it, and your achievements will be recognized, I swear! Anyways, congrats again the to the awesome Top 15 and the Honourable Mentions.
  18. This was already done several days ago http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/35032-frank-oconnor-speaks-out-about-leaks/ Still a good article yang
  19. As Bnus said, I tried and it failed. However, the reasons for failure are NOT because we're an Xbox centric forum. You see, the PS4 is a new console, out for less than a year, meaning only early adopters have it. However, if we were to organize a PS3 play date, we might see success. It's the same reason there hasn't been an Xbox One play date yet.
  20. Subtitle is actually pretty awesome I think personally, I mean Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag had a subtitle and a number for the first time in the series and it was a great game! The name won't effect the game itself, so there's no need to worry.

View attachment: WNW 52414.JPG Evolve Confirms Release Date Evolve, from the creators of Left 4 Dead, has received massive hype following the announcement of four new character classes, as well as it's presentation at PAX 2014. According to Polygon.com, 2K has announced some exciting news for fans of the game, a confirmed release date in the fall line-up of October 21st, 2014. Evolve could receive some trouble at launch however due to the fact that a wealth of other hit titles will be releasing during that month like Batman: Arkham Knight, Alien Isolation, and Driveclub just to name a few. As previously announced, it will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 world-wide. You can pre-order to get a few bonuses like the Monster Expansion Pack, which includes a skin for your Goliath. View attachment: 2K_EVOLVE_E3_Character_Bucket2.jpg Are you pre-ordering Evolve for pick-up on October 21st, or can you simply not afford it with the heap of other triple-A titles releasing? Let us know below! Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Trailer Released Batman: Arkham Knight, the fourth and final game in the Arkham Franchise, is expected to release this fall in October, and we recently got our first glimpse of in-game content rather then just High Definition screenshots. On Xbox's channel, a trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight was released, showcasing a few new things. In the trailer, called "Evening the Odds", we got our first glimpse of in-game scenes with Two-Face and Batman, and our first look at Scarecrow and Rocksteady's new villain, the Arkham Knight. We also see some scenes of the Batmobile and it's ability to drive through the streets and sewers. The video is mostly narrated by Scarecrow, like the first trailer. Star Wars Attack: Squadrons Cancelled by Disney After the cancellation of the promising Star Wars 1313, fans were skeptical about a new title under the name Attack Squadrons, but with a fairly successful closed beta, we were hopeful that the game would outlast, it did not. According to the official site, StarWarsAttackSquadrons.com, development stopped after careful deliberation about other star wars outlets. They said specifically, "After much consideration, we have decided to cease development so that we can focus on other Star Wars game experiences. We truly appreciate the time you spent engaging in the beta." No other information was released on the unfortunate cancellation, but this could lead to good things such as other ventures in the Star Wars franchise, that will hopefully not be cancelled. View attachment: 1400876695-star-wars-attack-squadrons.jpg Did you see promise in Attack Squadrons, or is this an unintelligent move on Disney's part? Debate below! 25. 343 Industries' own Frank O'Connor, who's been with the team since it's start, has spoken out about leaks regarding games and their faults. Halo is a series well known by a large number of supposed leaks before a Halo game's launch, often revealing key points that would have otherwise been a surprise. Frank O'Connor, Halo's development director, took to NeoGaf.com to speak about leaks and the drastic problems they cause for developers, likely referring to the large number of recent Xbox related leaks and Halo leaks, but speaking about the Industry in general. He said, "Ultimately he [the leaker] is taking or being given information and leaking it, illegally and often erroneously. And he isn't doing it for some noble or worthy reason. He's doing it for attention." He also referred to it's proclamation as a prophecy, saying that it's "just annoying" and not assisting or helpful in any outcome to the developer or player. Frankie also discussed the overall dissatisfaction and worthlessness of leaking, even mentioning termination of employees for such issues, "It's not fun, and for what? So you can have a mildly interesting surprise 8 hours early and lacking context? Or get hyped or disappointed disproportionately? Or get someone fired or someone innocent yelled at?" This could hint at some of the previous Anniversary or Master Chief Collection rumors being completely true, or the opposite as the leaks could cause false hype. View attachment: 1halo5.jpg Do you think this is a ret-con or hint at some previous Halo rumors to go out publicly and make a full speech about leaking? Let me know below, thanks for the read!
