Respawn Entertainment has announced that the Titanfall beta will become open on Xbox One and PC shortly. Confirmed by Vince Zampella on Twitter.com, he recently tweeted that the beta would be opening up to all users on Xbox One tonight, and PC later on. His argument was how little players got into the closed beta and Respawn wanting to reach the max rather then have too little. He does however, expect it to hold, with the worse case scenario being that a server or two get temporarily clogged and receive delays. His exact words were: "Ok, just heard from [Respawn programmer Jon Shiring]. His words are 'Let's break it', so the plan is to make the beta fully open and have you max stress it! All the switches need to be flipped, and there are probably lots! It will take some number of time units to do it all!" The period will extend by a single day to account for the loss in time. The Xbox One is estimated to receive the beta tonight, and the PC will receive it the following morning. Major Nelson gave instructions on how to access the beta in his blog at Majornelson.com. Now that the beta is open, are you excited to get your fingertips on Titanfall early? This post has been promoted to an article

So I love Mudkips Suck's little story series The Sniper of 343i.org, and I have decided to put a twist on that. To gear up for Valentine's day, I'm giving a special gift to those lonely people. In short little mini-chapters, I pair up two forum members and put them on a date with each other, to see simply, their hilarious reactions. If you wish specifically to not be used, I will keep you out, or edit you out if you're in this post by any chance. Pairing 1: Bnus and Azaxx Azaxx walks through the outdoor cafe's small barred gate, it is an incredibly sunny day and not many members are in the cafe, Azaxx is wearing his Community Moderator dark blue overcoat and slate pants, a shiny midnight coloured pair of shades, and glossy black shoes, each adorned with a golden buckle, his hand adorned with it's own gold ring, with the words "Shoutbox King" engraved into it. He notices Bnus sitting by the corner table, with a cerulean leather shirt and ripped navy jeans. With this, he looks down and sighs deeply, looking up and biting his teeth hard against each other, he walks toward the table without saying a word, and sits adjacent to Bnus, looking the other way, Bnus speaks first, simply muttering Azaxx's name. Azaxx turns, looking Bnus straight in the eyes through his shades. He cleanly states to Bnus "I feel like incinerating myself." Bnus as well turns and sighs saying, "Look maybe you should leave... Dad." This action causes Azaxx to grit his teeth harder, as he opens his mouth to show them, two of his front teeth sharp and accented with black as a mark of all those he has banned. His skin turns somewhat fiery red, as he looks down and takes a second to cool off. He states, "I'm not speaking to you." to which Bnus quickly replies with, "Fine! You know, you need to take anger management buddy." This starts a loud and displeasing slue of words, which goes on for about two minutes. The cafe then turns completely silent as the two simply stop arguing. Bnus soon breaks the incredibly awkward silence muttering in a low voice, "Much quiet, such argument, wow." Which immediately prompts Azaxx to slam his fists into the table, infuriated. Azaxx stares at Bnus, towering above him with red hot eyes and pale white skin, as Bnus is welled up with laughter, not even looking at Azaxx, he simply cackles until he falls off his chair, still laughing. He quiets down, as does Azaxx, when in storms another member of the forums. His verdant light green sweater pairs well with his brown cargo pants, his shoes a fine green with an image of a... A griffin emblazoned in gold on them. It is the Art Department's own Gryffin, a look of fury on his face, as he begins yelling, "AZAXX! You said you were just going to do Moderator Business with RedStar!" to which prompts Azaxx to put his hands on his face and mutter, "Oh no." but Gryffin continues yelling saying, "Why did you lie to me Azaxx?! You didn't tell me you were going to see this filthy piece of bread!" which offends Bnus, making him jump up and yell, "Hey!" Azaxx, still with his hands on his face, and Bnus and Gryffin both arguing with Azaxx and themselves, the story ends. Take bets and guesses on whose next. I've got a certain mammal and a bot lined up for the next spot. And happy Valentine's Day!

It seems Amazon has leaked the next accessory to the Xbox One, the Xbox One Media Remote. First spotted by Engadget.com, a new Xbox One device, the Media Remote, will be launching soon. According to the original listing on Amazon, which has since been taken down, it will release on March 4th for $22.69. Soon after, it was seen on other countries' amazon sites. In Italy and the UK, it will release a month later. This will allow easier navigation in menus for those who decide not to use the Kinect. Though the listing, as said, has been taken down, it is still viewable in Google chache. Will you be picking this up when it releases?

Now this is the story all about How his life got flip-turned Upside-down, I'd like to take a minute, against the norms, I'll tell you how he became the purple in a town called the forums, In the Outlands of Canada, born and raised, on Halo was where I spent most of my days, shootin' and maxin' and relaxin' and all cool, and making some games instead of playin' pool. When my brain rattled, it was up to no good, started longing for a new way to socialize, if I could, I searched up one site, and my thoughts declared, they said, "You're joining these forums, for a long time too, so you better get a nicer chair." I joined and posted, working day after day, soon I got to 50 posts and was on my way. So I started with this, and Made a small forum game, I put it on my page and said "Well, this better be the key fame." They're getting popular, yo this is good, I ain't using the forums, like a normal green would, Is this what bein a purple is like? Hmm... This might be alright! But wait, I hear they don't have much power, money, privilege and all that, Is this the type of rank that they just gave this cool cat? I hope not, We'll see who receives the harm, I hope they're prepared, For the pretty purple of the forum, I logged on and when I joined the box, there was a dude, looked like a mod, talking there about me, I ain't tryin' to get banned yet, I just turned purple, I sprang off with the quickness like GSD, disappeared, I took some time, watched some anime, when I completed my deed, I thought of myself, "Maestro", and Vash, the Stampede, If anything I could say the name was out of the norm, but I thought "Nah, forget it, Yo, let's look at the forum!" I, logged, on to the forums about 7 or 8, and I shouted to Ledgend, "Yo bud, let's run for Pres. together." Looked at my campaign, I was finally there, offered no pity, Sit on my throne, as the Purple of 343i City, This took me an hour to write, it was worth it, Happy Birthday Maestro!

On this week's Destiny Drawing Board, Bungie took a look at a new all terrain vehicle, the Shrike. The Shrike is sort of an all terrain mobile bike, it is quick and nimble, and somewhat standard issue. It lacks in it's ability to be offensive and is used more as a means of transport or exit. The shrike is a fully modifiable vehicle and comes standard issue with three different paint schemes to match your guardian class. Tom Doyle stated: "The Shrike is something that you'll upgrade over time in Destiny, Right off the bat, the Shrike has three distinct paint themes that correspond to your particular Class." View attachment: shrike_concept.jpg The vehicle was made as a way to get rid of pesky menu fast travel and to create a more immersive experience on Destiny's worlds. It is made to represent your guardian and how you play. Though the article was rather short, it included a selection of photos and renders of the Shrike in action. All photos in the spoiler box below. What do you think of the Shrike so far?

You know the usual drill, where I get the stars of this forum's reactions on pieces of gaming news from around the globe, today I have a very special member with me today. This month's member was a recent addition to the Promotions and Events and has been my friend for a long time, give it up for... Onsoku- Wait wait wait, I made a mistake. I meant give it up for... D-38 Boss! EK: Since Battlefield 4's buggy launch, fans of Titanfall worldwide are incredibly scared that Titanfall will launch in the same form or worse, do you think that EA has wiped that slate clean, or that we will see Titanfall brought in a messy state, based on past EA Performance with triple A titles? D3: Truly, no game is safe from bugs nowadays. Battlfield 4 had many issues, but predominantly because it was rushed to match CoD Ghosts. Do I think Titanfall will have bugs? yes. Will it be to the extent BF4 had possibly, but unlikely. EK: With the recent pushback of the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall, do you believe the last generation of consoles should stop distribution of new games as they seem to lack hardware for next generation games, leading those games to be brought down? D3: I don't think the older systems should NOT have new releases, considering the hefty price of the next gen consoles, however, there are certain games, such as Battlefield 4 and GTA V, that struggle with the older gen systems. I think companies should take a bit more time to make the older console versions a little more compatible. EK: Do you think the fact that Titanfall is an Xbox and PC Exclusive actually harms the game and it's sales and that Respawn and EA should consider broadening the title's launch platforms? D3: I don't think it would hurt to expand to PS4/3, but I dont think it's necessary, as the large number of Xbox fans, and PC only gamers will do well enough sales-wise. EK: On the subject of sales, do you believe Titanfall may sell less due to it's exclusion of Single-Player features and an only online system, as players will see this as not being worth the $60 price tag? D3: That may be an issue later, as player populations drop. without a singleplayer, Titanfall will eventually become unplayable. Even Chromehounds (One of my favorite games) had a singleplayer, but now there's no online servers, the game is practically pointless. EK: Do you believe that Titanfall will match or even exceed the sales of it's rival's system seller (which releases just weeks apart) Infamous: Second Son, or will it bomb compared to Sony's flagship PS4 seller in March? D3: That could go either way. Titanfall is a new IP, with a lot of hype around it, whereas Infamous: Second Son is the third game in the Infamous Series. Personally, being a huge fan of Sucker Punch Productions, (Sly Cooper FTW) I'm leaning a little more towards Infamous. But like I said, it could go either way. Thanks to Boss for the wonderful interview and tune in next time for another volume of Reactions with the Stars of the Community!

EA Predicts their new franchise, Titanfall, is going to be around for a very long time. With Titanfall's exclusive Xbox and PC launch coming up shortly, EA is already in discussion on Downloadable Content and Sequel titles. Originally during the Stifel Technology, Media, and Entertainment Conference, covered by Gamespot.com, Titanfall was spoken about. As most have already heard, Titanfall may not be exclusive to Xbox and PC in the future as the license is limited. Adding to this sequel news, Blake Jorgenson, EA's CFO, has predicted a long-term success for Titanfall. His statement said nothing but compliments to the new shooter, as he stated that Titanfall: "piece of IP that is now very different from anything you've ever seen, very exciting gameplay. As you can imagine, [Titanfall] will be a franchise that's around for long, long time." Titanfall will be releasing on March 11th on Xbox One and PC, the Xbox 360 version will be launched about two weeks later. A closed beta has been confirmed and details of the way to access it have been kept under the rug with Respawn. Will you be purchasing Titanfall sequels and DLC?

If you plan to buy the Wolf Among Us Season Pass, be wary, as you could be asked to pay twice. The Wolf Among Us Season 2 was seen as a bit of a slide down from the intensity of Season 1, but it still ranked very well among the charts, and with it's launch came a cluster of glitches, one being exclusive to Xbox Live users. When the Season Pass is downloaded, and users attempted to access Season 2, they were asked to purchase it again from the marketplace, despite already owning it. In a post on Telltale Games' own website, Telltalegames.com, they stated that they are working with Microsoft to resolve the issues, and are, in the meantime, passing out free codes to Season Pass owners as a reimbursement for the issue. The company expects the issue to be fixed within the next several days, and asks users to be patient about the problem. What do you think so far of The Wolf Among Us and are you excited for Season 3?
