  1. Some really sad news coming out tonight as 2K Australia, a Borderlands and Bioshock developer, is being shut down. While I know some may disagree, I found Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel to be a very good game, especially for a studio that had never done a Borderlands title, and I was excited to see where 2K Australia went from there, however, it seems their creative light has been snuffed out. IGN.com reports that a shutdown will be underway and that the last AAA studio from Australia will be closing it's doors at an unreleased date. 2K said in an official statement, "We can confirm we have taken steps to begin the studio closure process for 2K Australia in order to better manage ongoing development costs while improving the working proximity of our creative teams. We are very grateful for the team’s valuable contributions to numerous 2K projects, and are working with affected staff to explore reassignment opportunities where possible." More news will be available at a later date about when exactly the studio will be going and how. View attachment: borderlandspre.jpg 2K seems to be going through a bad patch financing games they can't afford, the scale of games like Bioshock Infinite and Borderlands 2 seemed to have sealed the fate of Irrational Games and 2K Australia as they need to compensate to make their rates. While it's sad to see 2K Australia go so early, they'll always be remembered for their work on Bioshock and Borderlands. View full article

  3. The second coming of Christ video game, known as Grand Theft Auto V, has surpassed a few big steam giants and become a top dog. At this point, you either own Grand Theft Auto V, or you've heard of it, the game is so widespread there isn't a soul on this earth who hasn't. In large part because of this, GTA V's recent PC launch has broken a previous record on Steam, as reported by Polygon.com. You see, taking a few steps back, on November 11th, 2011, a little title by the name of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim released on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, and topped Steam's record of non-Valve games at 280,000 players in one day. Well, a new alpha of the pack has risen, as GTA V topped off at 301,246 when it peaked in players today. The game launched to (still) successful reviews and has been in the running since back in Summer of 2014 for PC. GTA V is one of the only games to have such a life cycle where 2 years can pass and sales stay just as strong. Don't underestimate it though, DOTA 2 is still Steam's overall top dog with a player count bypassing a million, and Counter-Strike is nipping at it's heels. GTA V has a long way to go before becoming the king of Steam. View attachment: GTA-V_franklinsniping_1920x1080.jpg I've heard nothing but good things about GTA V on the PC, with the new support systems for Mods, 4K, 60fps, and more, it's been nothing but fun, but let us know down below if you own it how this port has been handled. Thanks for reading, see you all next time.

Vanguard - Do your Weekly Heroic and Nightfalls, Bounties, and Patrol. If that doesn't rank you up, go to the ROC Strikes. Crucible - Play Crucible.
  5. Who could it be, who could it be, One's a crook, one will go free, Who it is, that we will see, When the innocent is lynched by the tree.
  6. I change my vote as well, but still wrong. Arbiter is dead, another day, another innocent.
  7. I vote Connor Kenway, good to get rid of innocents.
  8. Gameplay - Ppsh, the PS3 has KILLZONE. KILLZONE. Pathethic 360 peasent. Graphics - Looks worse than the PS-2 Online - More abandoned than a shack in the woods. Bugs - Buggy, Killzone isn't as bad. I rate Killzone/10
  9. Hey tomorrow (April 11th) after my event, I wanted to ask if you'd help me with something on Destiny. I need to grind my warlock a bit in the ROC playlist, he's a level 26 so no sherpa-ing is needed. Ty love ya.

  10. WHY WOULD YOU POST THAT?! OH GOD I'M HAVING AN EXISTENTIAL CRISIS RIGHT NOW.
  11. Call of Duty: Black Ops III has been announced with a 2015 release according to a new trailer! It's Treyarch's turn this year, and the creators of World at War and Black Ops are coming around with the third entry into the series. Xbox and PlayStation's uploaded a short teaser with voices from multiple people in past entries of Black Ops tying into the third game. How exactly Black Ops II's multiple endings will tie into this story is unknown. The logo then morphs at the end, turning from I, to II, to III. They then announce a full reveal later on April 26th. No more details are known other than it will tie into it's past entries and that it will release this year. It can however be speculated that it will share similarities to Ghosts and Advanced Warfare's futuristic setting, sadly. Only time will tell in the future if it will live up to Treyarch's very good track record. I have to admit, I'm quite tired of Call of Duty, but I've always had a soft spot for Treyarch because of their abilities to tell a good story. I expect no less for Black Ops III, and even though it's almost confirmed it's futuristic, I'm still hoping for a Call of Duty in World War II. What are your thoughts on this announcement teaser? Let me know below! Thanks for reading!

  13. Y'see, I sorta get you now. Here's what I was thinking you were saying. "If you wanted to change the lore, how would you do it?" But however, I see now, you're saying, "For future reference, what would you change to improve the series in other areas, and how could it affect the future?" I thought he was stuck on changing past lore lol, not evolving past lore into future lore. I gotcha now.
  14. But disregarded lore does nothing beneficial for anyone, because 343i can no longer reverse it. Black Team is dead, there is no changing it, because if you do, you overwrite previously finished lore. Which is why I don't understand why Escalation is being pushed aside to change something already set in stone. Even if they did change it, Black Team's dead was essential in setting Blue Team and the Chief on their path, changing that means changing the plot of Escalation and Halo 5, which is far too much work to do, which is why changing it will never happen and disregarding the lore for personal preference just simply confuses the surveyor.
  15. But you can't disregard lore at your will, otherwise you could disregard the games to formulate decisions. You need to take the whole universe into account.
  16. Nonranked: Angry Joe - Really awesome guy all around, however, he does have a tendency to act childish on Twitter. His YouTube is really where he shines. Total Biscuit - While I don't always agree with him TB knows how to present an opinion in an unbiased and classy way, and does a great job being persuasive. Jacksepticeye - Not all of his content is hilarious, but he entertains me to watch and he seems like a nice guy in real life. Friendly AI - Dude's funny, not much else to say. Sargon of Akkad - Very sound minded and calm person, does a great job at relaying information and speaking truthfully. Almost always agree with him. Nerd^3 - Hilarious content creator, sound minded a lot of the time, and all around, a nice person to watch and talk to. Hope to meet him some day, even if I think his opinion on Halo is wrong. Ready Up Live - HaloFollower done right, great content and very informative. He's sorta tied with Chief Canuck here, so I guess they both get the spot. Emma Blackery - Extremely talented singer and a funny vloger that I can get behind. Love her content. MoreConsole - This is the kind of dude I'd love to spend 4 hours playing Halo with. Solid guy all around and creates some great pieces. Love ya MC! Vee - Lesser known YouTuber that both has some great ideas and thoughts and makes me laugh my butt off. Vee is just a fun dude o listen to.
  17. Great survey! Really detailed and helped explain a lot of things to me and introduce some new concepts. However, a small gripe. SPOILERS: Black Team died in Halo Escalation, it's been confirmed.
  18. A. Saturday is the 11th, and the day is taken by another event. B. What exactly is this event and when is it going down since that date is off.
  19. A brand new entry into the Deus Ex series, Mankind Divided, has been revealed over on NeoGaf! I must admit, Square Enix was seeming a bit dry as of late, but this news looks to have flipped that on it's head. Someone on NeoGaf.com revealed screenshots and a gameplay description of a new Deus Ex game called Mankind Divided. The game will center around Adam Jensen, the protagonist of the previous game Human Revolution. The plot details are light, but it is known that since Human Revolution, augmented and ordinary people have been separated into social castes, and this leads to conflict. As in the past, putting in more effort will reward more payout as your actions affect the course of the game, so going stealth is likely the best option. The AI has been heavily improved to make open combat a bit trickier as the new system's tactics will give players a run for their money. A host of old abilities have been improved, including some new blade/crossbow tricks, and a shield that Adam can utilize. There will be no transfer from your previous game, so as far as story goes, most decisions likely won't matter. The game will release on an unknown date as of yet for Xbox One, PS4, and the PC, no last generation launch due to the game's prowess. View attachment: xaFXddA.jpg I'm a huge Deus Ex fan, so I'm really excited to see where Mankind Divided goes! What do you guys think of this info, are you a fan too? Let me know down below! Thanks for reading.

  21. If you're eager to get your hands on GTA V for the PC, I have some good news for you for next week. GTA V is finally coming for PC, after tons of delays and bumps in the road, PC gamers will at last have their copy to mod and do as they please. GameSpot.com is reporting that the game is on it's final legs and that next week, Rockstar will allow PC gamers to pre-load their copy of GTA V on the PC. They will be able to do this through either Rockstar Warehouse, their own store, or through Steam. The game will require a hefty monitor system and about 65 GB of free install space, so pre-loading isn't a bad idea. The PC version is mostly the same in terms of features, with the exception of mod capability and the new Video Editor mode, but technically, the game will be able to run at 4K, as well as at 60FPS on triple-screen monitors and in shiny 3D. The PC version will officially launch April 14th, unless Rockstar pulls a late April Fools on us and decides to push it back another year. View attachment: gta-5-online.jpg I'm very excited personally to get my hands on GTA V for the PC when the price drops, if you couldn't tell, I love this game, I own the Collector's Edition on my Xbox 360 and re-bought the game for the Xbox One. What are your thoughts on GTA V, will you be picking it up on your PC? Let me know down below! Thanks a ton for reading!
