Halo 4 has recieved the "Call of Duty Treatment"
Man of The People replied to Man of The People's topic in Halo 4
Really Video removed for to much swearing on a site that discusses a Mature rated 1st person shooter game series... I didn't say Halo receiving the "Call of Duty Treatment" is a bad thing, and who's complaining, I think it's nice for 343i to adopt a Herb Mentality and make halo more like Call of Duty like all other game developers are doing,... This site is about an M rated game which involves swearing, you don't like swearing don't watch the video...- 10 replies

Halo 4 is expected to be released November 6th and has been provided the "Call of Duty Treatment" by 343i. This video published by YouTube user "VeryTraumatic" briefly explains the "Call of Duty Treatment", how Halo 4 has been given the "Call of Duty Treatment", and how this will effect the 1st Person Shooter genre. The "Call of Duty Treatment" is real and this is happening to Halo 4, the contents of this video have been known to cause people to experience feelings of anger and despair after watching so Viewer Discretion is Advised. Here's a link to the video: < http://www.youtube.c...yer_detailpage" Few other "Call of Duty Treatment" characteristics not mentioned in this video are: Custom Loadouts ( destroys game balance), Ordinance Drop ( Care Packages), Sprint Button, No Firefight, No Elites in Multiplayer, No Invasion, etc

The importance of Grammar and Spell Check should be a Topic.

Everyone ignores the plasma pistol until they see a tank, suddenly getting the plasma pistol becomes the number one priority. Where was the love when the tank wasn't there huh???

Rank means nothing, it's true skill that counts. But Halo Reach has the hidden true skill system, so no one will ever know how good they really are. My True Skill in Halo 3 was "42" My rank in Halo Reach means nothing to me ( It's just a second emblem)

EMP grenade isn't such a bad thing, as long as people can't spawn with them and their limited on maps it'll be just like the Halo 3 power drain. If they can be obtained like plasma and frag grenades then they'll create a problem.

In Halo 3 you earned exp for a win, and you only got one exp point. Halo Reach works on a hidden true skill system. In Halo 3 you didn't earn more true skill for winning, the true skill system would take into account every player in the games: true skill, games won, and games lost, and deem if these players were better then you or not, and then decide whether you went up or down in true skill depending on if you won or lost to better or worse players. If you were versing opponents that the game felt you should beat, but you lost, then your true skill went down If you were versing opponents that the game felt you should lose against, and you lost, then your true skill probably wouldn't change If you were versing opponents that the game felt you should lose against, but you won, then your true skill would go up And if you were versing opponents that the game felt you should win against, and you won, it probably would change The game also took into account the team you were playing with This true skill system was developed by Microsoft ( Lone Wolf was a little more complicated, but had a similar system) -
Just because someone doesn't want to accept the changes doesn't mean their not a true Halo fan. If someone's played a current or previous game in the series, read the Halo Novels, or watched videos on waypoint and they love what Halo has to offer then they are a fan. If you don't like Halo 4 that means your not a fan of Halo 4, you can still be a true fan of the series though. ( I'm not a True Halo fan you say, well your not a True Nord!)

Please don't ruin Halo 4 matchmaking like Bungie did with Reach...
Man of The People replied to Mezz's topic in Halo 4
A game needs constructive criticism to get better. When people ( as you say) complain, it's because they care about the game. Someone who's played through the Halo series or has come to love the game can't just go buy a different game, there's no other game like it. -
I quote, P-1609 - "There is nothing you can't do" ( lmao) I don't want to go back to the Ordinance Drop Thread again, but I must say it was more based on how it will unbalance Halo and is similar to care packages, and etc. Not just skilled first versus less skilled, and I was repeatedly asked the same questions ( people didn't read the previous answers). I too found some of ShadyBliss's concerns to be a bit silly, but I felt he still should not have been flammed like he was before for his post. ( It's discussions like these ( until P-1609 got involved) that make the forums an informative place)
