Exactly! Graphics are just like sound and music, you can have a game with bad music but good evertyhing else and it still be a good game. You can have a game with bad graphics but excellent everything else and it be a good game! Graphics, like anything else are only a component they all serve to enhance the experience. If a game had good everything, but graphics that's fine. But wouldn't it be better if it was good in ever category? Of course! But people seem to forget a good story doesn't make a good game because horrible gameplay may completely ruin it. I still get extremely emotional over Final Fantasy VI, doesn't matter if it doesn't look good. It's a great game in every other aspect.

Better players do better then bad players. Obvious right? If you really need a little number or symbol to make yourself feel better about your "skillz" well then...not our problem and certainly something you need to get over. Your skills at the game should be all you need. Everyone dies in the games, even the best players. I'd like to see half the people who talk about "Skill" play a few rounds of CS 1.6 and see where the real gods of the gaming world reside. They don't need symbols or ranks to demonstrate their skill at a game, they prove it nearly every single time they get into a game. Your numbers mean nothing to me, and to a lot people. What impresses most people is your actual skill at the game, not some dumb number next to your name that makes most people go "lol try hard" and face it. Me being rank 100 in Battlefield has nothing to do with my skill, but the fact is when I go 56-0. I could be a Level 23. Rank doesn't matter, the player does.

A and B are both equally good really, it's more dependent on the person. My sister will own them and trash talk back, and another I know just ignores it all. Of course, this also easily applies to everyone in general. I've seen more then my fair share of hate mail, I generally just mute, and if I get a message, I laugh at them and block them.

You guys forget that driving or being in a passenger seat in first person looks a lot more cool and fun. Also battlefield has the perfect solution, one button click, third person. One button click, first person. It's really not that hard to include both.

As is though, you do know that having fun, and winning aren't mutually exclusive right? I play Battlefield 3 with a 2.02 K/D (very very good for that game) and a 2.38 W/L (also very good) and I do play to win, but I also play to have fun and I have a lot of friends who are the same way. We nearly always win, and we nearly always have a blast, even when we lose. My point is, try having fun for once as well. Winning and having fun don't have to be separate.

I meant more, yes it won't stop it, but if they are going to be jerks and asking politely to stop doesn't make them stop, may as well own them. For instance, despite the fact that my sister gets a ton of hate from people for being good at COD, she also gets a ton of respect as well, or at the very least, shows the hater who's boss. Don't know, I think they are equally bad at times. COD just happens to be worse because more people play it. Amen brother (Don't hit me!) As long as we keep civil about it, we won't be hypocritical at all. It's like the USA saying "stop fighting" they aren't hypocrites because they've fought in the past. It's a valid statement to make, and someone has to say it. Gaming can be a hostile place, only by discussing its problems can we start making it better bit by bit in our own way.

Okay no. First of all, ever since Battlefield 1942 came out a new battlefield has come out every two years (Actually, more like three years since the games release late into the second year). They are not pulling a "call of duty" especially since excluding Battlefield: Vietnam, every single game has been a large leap forward in many areas unlike COD. Secondly, it's "3GB" because it includes the Expansion Packs. Thirdly, its not that hard to find good servers to play on at all. I spent five minutes and I've never joined a bad server since.

The best ones are the ones who complain a game is to much like another game. Halo 4 has "specializations" so it copied COD. In that case, Halo has guns, clearly COD copied that.
