Im also happy that Halo 4 has been updated with the new ranking system and also the new weapon balancing on next monday. But comparing halo with CoD is like saying every war game is CoD, yes I know that all these new tactical packeges and armor uppgrades are new and similar to other games, but new games needs new ideas and development, if not they are exact the same as the old games, like cod.... 343i was helping bungie to make the first trilogy so I do belive in them that they know what they are doing, they have experience and most of the misstakes they made in the beginning are being/have been fixed in updates. Ofcourse there are always things to complain about, so was there in halo 3 and every other halo too, Just give 343 some time and youll see that the new trilogy will be the best halos of all time. not that im a psychologist or anything but from experience i can tell that for some poeple the best halo will always be the one they played first, for them its the "original" halo.

I heard some rumors that you will get a new armor if you rank up 35 ranks by only playing castle map pack. I haven't found any other sources that would prove this. So I was just wondering is this true? or have I been tricked? If it is true, that you get a new armor, I'd be happy if someone would share some pictures showing what it looks like. // Jerry

My opinion on Forge Island and the community in general
Jerry replied to Jack Of Harts's topic in Forge Discussion
oh yes so I noticed the minute after I poster the comment. But anyway, I have already made a few maps, but on one of my maps the budget prevented me from finishing it. so I have heard rumors that you could glitch the budget so it increases sames thing with trees you can get infinit trees if you want, anyone else heard of this? can I find a tutorial of how to do it? I have played a map in reach where there were more lights than you can build so I belive its some sort of same thing, but you have to download much mods to you xbox and so on, am I right? -

What Kind of Vehicals Would You Like to See in Halo 5
Jerry replied to Sam Jones's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
343i have introduced a "new" specie in the game but with no new vehicles for them. I like your ideas for forerunner vehicles BaconShelf! Transport Hornet is missing, (or any other UNSC flying vehicle to counter the banshee), though the current maps for halo 4 isnt designed for it so maybe leave it to the next halo. Somebody mentioned that a scarab would be nice, well its a big vehicle but a good encounter for the elephant, Elephant vs Scarab gametype would be cool, but maybe leave it for the next gen, where there are more players on one server. Somekinda covie transport are also missing, just like the prowler, spectre or shadow Gorgon or locust (or chopper and revenant) as a covie encounter to the mantis. As for now, all the vehicles in halo 4 today are all pretty weak since you can spawn with plasma nades etc. For example if you compare the normal warthog from halo 4 to the elder halos it isnt as scary anymore to see a enemy warthog running at you, all you need is two plasmas in your backpocket. -
Want to get easy plasma pistol kills? heres your loadout and some tips! Tactic, tips: Play regicide (small maps, no teamates who killsteals), Tip 1: "The killsteal tactic": hunt for other players who are having a 1v1 fight after the fight pop a few shots with the PP on the winner who have no shield = easy kill Tip 2: "The avarage tactic": take the shield down with your primary and shoot a little more, switch fast to plasma pistol and there you have a easy kill, Tip 3: Use plasma pistol, two shots melee one shot, Kill! Tip 4: AFKs? hunt for them, learn the spawns on the maps, afks are always easy kills! but spare your ammo use Tip 3 to kill them! primary: Automatic (I preffer using storm rifle since you dont have to reload, and it doesnt kill immidietly after the shield is down, plus it has a good range) secondary: plasma pistol ofcourse (NEVER CHARGE IT) grenade: Pulse grenade becouse if you run into trouble throw the nade at your enemy, their shield will be down but it wont kill them and then you can get a easy PP kill armor ability: I used hologram since you can always fool your enemy one second or two it will give you enough time to kill and win the enemy, hologram is also a life saver if your shield is down hide and send out a hologram, then hit your enemy from the back tactical package: Mobility, most players will run away when you have dropped their shield, you need to be able to catch them before it regenerates! support upgrade: ordnance priority, (or ammo) you will run out of ammo pretty soon, its a good idea to hunt for power weapon commendations too Look at my file share "how to get Plasma pistol kills gameplay", watch and learn! gt: Sangheili 25

Only thing im dissapointed with halo 4s story is some of the physics aren't really logical, just to mention one example, when requiem went into the sun it only took a few hours, if it only had taken a few hours to travel to the sun from its original position, no life could have ever lived there since it would have been too hot also when requiem went to the sun it exploded and infinity came out just fine from being very close to the sun... to me this seems unrealistic and I dont like unrealistic storys, thats one reason why the previous halos win my vote. A hero who have saved humanity several times gets this welcoming greeting when he returns from the dead "You are taller then I expected". I really thought there would be some kinda party when cheif made contact to humanity after many years, apparently not... Another thing, when halo 4 was announced it was all about the mysterious ancient evil which really got me excited and I wondered what it was, but when I played the game i just clicked a button and POOF; I have killed the most evil thing in the universe. About the MM I like it, the only thing thats maybe bothering me abit is that there are too many fancy things to choose to your loadout, armor upgrade, tactical package, armor ability.... Remember the time when it was player vs player not super loadout vs fancy loadout? you know what i mean? Anyway its always easy to poke out the negative stuffs about things, truth is Halo 4 have been the best halo of all time, cant wait to Halo 5!

Thats not the point here but if you must know, its like Cassi said, I dont like it, and its a silent protest against it by not using it. Anyway, Thanks for the answer Bloody Initiate, though your explenation went beyond my understanding, I think i can live with just having one DMR kill, atleast as long as its not more than one im cool with it.
-
Im going straight to the point, I have one kill with the DMR according to www.halowaypoint.com, but I do not have any DMR kills according to the commendations and I know clearly that I have not killed with it a single time in matchmaking nor custom games, campaign or spops. So im just wondering can you trust the rest of the stats that halo waypoint says?

Play through halo 4 campaign and spartan ops season 1 before reading, otherwise SPOILER ALERT! Im just wondering what 343 will do next, they have made some drastic changes in the story. Removed cheifs armor, killied cortana, killied didact, destroyed reqium and turned Halsey against the UNSC. So what do YOU think will happen next, in the next season of spops or halo 5? Im asking you becaouse me myself have no idea...

The Official What You Do and Do Not want in Halo 5 Thread
Jerry replied to SatanicBagels's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
The ranking system i halo 4 was once again a flop, in my opinion the rank should show how good you are, not like in reach how much you have played or as in halo 4 how much you have boosted or done easy 30000 exp challenges. In halo 3 was the best system so far where you actually had to work hard to get a high rank, since you had to earn highest skill points and harder earned exp, and if you didn't win the match you hardly got any exp at all. Another small thing 343 could improve to the next halo is when you zoom with your rifle and get shot it should zoom out again just like in the other halos, because sometimes its disturbing, for example when you shoot a sniper from a distance he can still easily snipe you before you get him killed. Otherwise I actually don't have much more to say, you guys have already said everything about forge, custom games, playable charaters etc. and I can agree with the most of it, let's just hope 343i sees this thread before starting on halo 5! -
Name: Rusher - Primary Weapon: Storm rifle Secondary Weapon: Plasma pistol FTC Grenade: Pulse grenade Armour Ability: Hologram Tactical Package: Mobility Support upgrade: Ordnance priority - Description: I only use this class in small maps. Its very good if you want to get many plasma pistol or pulse grenade kills, take the shield down with the storm rifle and shoot a few shots with the PP or throw the pulse grenade, your enemy will be K.O. in one sec. If you get in trouble just send out an hologram or block the way with the pulse grenade. Then you have either won enough time to regenerate your shield or been able to run far away thanks to the mobility. Since not many players use the storm rifle, you will run out of ammo pretty soon, but thats why i use ordnance priority. It gives a boost to your game and easy commendations. This is the class i use the most, but if it is a bigger map with many vehicles I often use (Vehicle mannen) carbine, PP and jetpack with all the vehicle upgrades, if the map is big but with no vehicles ill prefer to use (Grenadier) carbine PP and regeneration field with more nades and explosives, this is also my spops class.

Halo 2 co-op is the hardest halo campaign i have ever played, besides halo 3, reach, and 4 LASO.

If we look at the first contact with the flood as we know it, it was the ancient humans who spotted a ship of unkown orgin on the edge of our galaxy. The ship contained loads and loads of containers full of spores, which seemed harmless. As the humans were experimenting with the spores some escaped and spread through the planet. Soon the whole planet would be flood infected, and slowly the flood would take over more human planets. The humans fled in fear and took over new planets, which already contained life, to survive. This was unaccaptable for the forerunners and so the human-forerunner war started. The forerunners came out victorious unknowingly why the humans were so desperate. When they found out why the humans were afraid, they built the installations to spare some time to come up with a cure against the flood. Too bad no cure was found in time and they had to activate the installations to save the galaxy, sacrificeing them selfs in the process. Though some flood spores were saved for futher studies. These spores which were saved for further studies are the ones we were fighting against in halo 1-3, even though we might have succeded to kill all remaining flood spores in our galaxy. I still belive we will have to fight them again at some point. "a ship of unkown orgin" from where did they originally come from? Will they seek vengeance?

look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7dqtgkSWeQ look when he gets scanned you can see his skeleton, looks like a human, also you can see him as a child between 0:27 and 0:50 aswell in the very beginning of the halo 4 campaign. to me he looks like a human, but then again I have also heard that he might be a forerunner, maybe he have old forerunner relatives or something?
