So it would seem the FOTUS armor has gone the way of the Recruit armor...available to everyone at a certain point. In this forum article are listed several sites that have been recently updated, in them the description only states the skins and emblems as being exclusive, not the armor. So it would seem the FOTUS armor is no longer exclusive to the Halo 4 Xbox360 console. Supposedly, the FOTUS armor is armor unlocked at SR-130. To clarify, as has now been revealed, when you get the skin for an armor, such as the Prime skin, the Recruit armor is in turn unlocked. Except for the fact that the Regen shield does not stop enemy fire...it just regenrates health and shields Too bad armor lock is no longer in Halo...it was removed as it should have been At SDCC I used thruster pack and it was amazing...it made it nice to get in and out of situations and get to objectives or weapons quickly

I actually like the prime skin, and i like the recruit armor so that works out well. I like the simple design of the lines

Blue is Movement Speed, Green is Overshield, and Red is Damage Boost. As the above posted they are the 3 powerups that drop with your Ordinance drop. It will be random depending on the map and gametype as to which one is in your ordinance drop.

I think that is why at least the Hornet will be in War Games. the falcon does not make sense seeing as it was replaced by the Pelican, which is why the pelican is in campaign.

One lazer blast yes, but so too can a Scorpion now...one lazer no longer kills the tanks, unless you hit it right down the middle or driver section (which in that case only the driver would die and the tank would be fine.) After the initial hit of the lazer, the Mantis' shields take 7 seconds to recharge, thats 2x as long as infantry shields. Now put someone with operator in the mantis and it will be beast

No pelican is not in war games, it is only in campaign. The falcon is no more...the hornet is also in campaign. And accoridng to the link on waypoint, there are no air vehicals in War Games besides the banshee. Well again, there are no air vehicles besides the banshee...although i would not be surpriesd if the hornet is only on a specific map similar to the mantis only being on Valhalla

Yeah i watched this streamed a couple weeks back from EGL...the announcers are stupid and dont really know what they are talking about, but the gameplays is sweet. I am so stoked for the game to come out

Right but in the old trilogy we faced the covie and their main recognition came through either the grunts or elites, so the elite was chosen as the legendary symbol due to their tough nature. Now we do face the covie once again, but the new threat fo this troilogy is the prometheans, thus the forerunner skull is now representing the legendary symbol.

Meh...if people want to upload on Nov. 5th for us, but Nov. 6th for them let them go for it. We know it will happen, so just dont go searching on youtube the day before Halo 4 launch. I think it is ok upload the content, especially of it is legit. I say go for it, get the info and gameplay form your friends in Aus and upload it. I have already played it so it wont bother me...but I am sure it will bother others, but like I said, those who dont want to see Halo 4 footage should not search youtubefor Halo 4. Common sense

Correct, Lasky does not die in FUD, he is in Spartan Ops which takes place 6 months AFTER the Halo 4 campaign. And I agree NJL, the device is probably the Infinity that connects them all

Boltshot was fun, but better when fully charged, reminded me of the mauler. Scattershot only has the range when it can bounce off of walls and ceilings, unless you are point blank with it, it does not kill, it will need to scatter to hit the enemy. They human shotty in comparison has slightly less range, but does more damage seemingly. The LR is prett nifty, its dual modes make it nice for different situations, but it has a medium sized clip and high RoF so you burn through ammo quick. It also seems to have more spread than the BR and DMR and Carbine. The Suppressor (AR equivalent) is pretty sweet...it has dual modes as well, a burst mode similar to the smg, and a full auto, it does pretty good damage when full auto but burns through ammo like crazy. The incineration cannon was sweet, I didnt get to use it, but watched a team mate use it, it is only 1 round, but when it shoots, it releases an explosive projectile that looks like a red fuel rod and explodes with fire like the flame grenade from Halo 3. You can not be too close to the enemy becuase the fire will spread and burn you which happened to my team mate lol The pulse grenade is cool, works well on vehicles just long enough to slow them down for a kill or hijacking. Worsk well for chocke points on infantry, but in the open, the grenade is not as useful, it does a drain of your shileds over a couple seconds and when it explodes can kill if someone is injured already. All in all I think the Promethean weapons are cool, they add a bit ofuniqueness to the game and a bit of balance to players who want a mix of human and covie specs.

You on the other hand had no reason to piggyback off of my reply and turn it into a point of your own that had nothing to do with my reply. We understand you think downgrading is stupid, thats fine, leave it at that.

Incorrect, the LE only comes with the Prime Armor Skin for the Recruit armor and the Prime Weapon skin for the AR. You get the Recruit armor with Prime skin for your avatar, but not for in game War Games. This was confirmed by BS Angel and 343i. Recruit armor is the defualt armor for EVERYONE.

NO the LE DOES NOT come with the Strider and Scanner helmets and the Falcon emblem. Those only come with the stand alone War Games Map Pass...they are different sku's thus different contents. This was stated by BS Angel herself: https://twitter.com/...590355480604672

Again it is not as simple as that anymore though...map size, "flinching", bloom, and spread all come into account when dueling. Yes technically all weapons have similar kill times, but throw map size, flinching, and player compensation of bloom/spread into the mix and those technicalities change.

I fully agree, but at least we can have different pieces of armor with different skins to mix and match. thank goodness its not you have to wear all Hazop to have forest skin lol

That and bloom is not on every weapon as I explained above

So from this newer video posted with the Gold build of Halo 4, each armor and skin are broken up into pieces, for example. Prime Helmet, torso, shoulders, legs, and forearms. Now you can mix and match different pieces with different skins. So I can Have the Recruit Prime Helmet, the Rogue Shoulders with Rogue skin, the Hazop Forest Torso, Recruit Prime Legs, and Pionner forearms with Pioneer skin. Each skin IS armor specific, so you can not have Forest skin on anything other than Hazop. But you can mix and match pieces from each skin set.
