  1. The LR is sweet/ was sweet when I used it at SDCC but due to its dual modes and decent clip size its trade off is the faster RoF with more spread than the others.
  2. If there is a ranked playlist section along with the other more "social" playlists similar to the setup of Halo 3 I would really enjoy that, and so too would a lot of other people.
  3. You can turn off aim assist and killcams...they really are making the game more customizable to your own playstyle
  4. Well according to Frank O'Connor its a toss up between the DMR and BR. From my experience at SDCC and playing campaign, I would say its between the Covie Carbine and Light Rifle. The Carbine has a fast RoF and decent spread with a good sized clip. The LR has mixed RoF (3 round burst unscoped, single fire scoped), larger spread, but good sized clip.
  5. Huh? I put in 4 codes and got 24 matches...each code gave me 6 matches
  6. The only thing is, A. you get the meter filled form assists and kills not just kills B. you do not have a choice of what is in the ordinance drops, they change depending on the games and the map (hence the Re-Roll ability from one of the Specializations)
  7. A buddy of mine has had it for a week...he is a manager at Gamestop and they got theirs last wednesday so he was allowed to take one home. We have only played Forge and Campaign...awesome
  8. All armor except for the FOTUS will be unlocked in game. The Loscus helmet will be in the game for everyone, but the pre-order skin will only be available from pre-order and form the future Pre-Order DLC pack.
  9. My last MM build was SDCC...Havent been able to play online at my buddies yet due to no lobbies open lol. But from what i remember it was a lot like Halo 3...but when you use grenades there was no aim assist seemingly. Which made it nice, unlike Reach which had terrible aim assist and would ruin the grenade throws.
  10. I like it...I think it will add a nice variable to the game. Weapon drops are random (from a sequence of pre-set weapon) and drop at random times. So I think having the ability to call in your own Ordinance Drop contianing a grenade, a powerup, and a power weapon is pretty cool. The pace of the game is faster now and I think this will flow well with it. Plus it will be awesome to see players killed by the Ordinance Drop lol
  11. I am in...I posted on the thread...send me a message when you all are on and about to get the action started
  12. agreed...I dont really use props anyways...the armor would be cool after having the BR skin, and theme
  13. Haha...true, and GI has been better lately witht heir reviews...not as biased it would seem lately. Yeah idk why they use blocks either lol. Perhaps I shall eneter and see how it goes, when is the playdate?
  14. Meh...I will wait until these new Halo 4 headsets have been reviewed before I drop $60+ on one. I use my official xbox MW3 wireless one righ now andit is awesome...I usually stick with official....better quality in general. But I will give these a chance if they review well
  15. I fully agree, and I think that is why they made sprint the way they did. It is now an inate ability so everyone has it, no longer an AA, so it doesnt need a downside anymore. Yeah it was fun, havent played MM since SDCC though so it will be way different on Nov. 6th.
  16. I think they scrambled your own radar because if you are camping with AC, which is usually the case, they want to make it a bit harder for you to tell where the enemy is coming from, even though if you know how to use the radar you can pretty much figure it out. Like I sadi, it supposedly cant ben seen by PV so they had to introduce a balanced drawback between AA's. But who knows...at SDCC there was no scrambled radar and all ofthis is from videos and interviews I have seen/read so it all very well could have changed when the game went Gold. ANd it still could changes, AC in reach changed a couple of times.
  17. FUD is on DVD for $12.99 and BluRay for $16.99 on Amazon..and it is the exact same 90 min extended FUD, yet it is on a disc...instead of some bs stream over Halo Waypoint...
  18. Yeah ps2 was the last mad catz I purchased as well and they were terrible...never again
  19. next voting options are an armor and a ghost avatar prop...revealed on twitter lol
  20. I too can not stand the DMR it is a garbage weapon...I am sure it will be better in Halo4, but I will stick with the Covie Carbine and LR...oh and the BR for its nostalgia. But as far as the spread goes, in the vids I posted, you can see the spread of the BR and DMR...in one of them in particular the player even shows the spread while shooting a building
  21. Than you are done discussing this with me...have a good day
  22. If it was a statue like the Reach LE I would agree with you...but the Halo 4 le only has paper... I wouldnt hold my breath...343i would be willing to add something, bu M$ will not...they are a heartless company
  23. Yes it is confirmed that Gamestop gets the BR Arctic skin...take a look at the other pre-order bonuses of Gamestop coming up. http://halo4vote.com/
  24. Thats fine by me...I dont have a problem with anyone wanting the physical, I was just responding to Killer's statement.
  25. The physical items are papers, booklets, and pamphlets. Those will all be online within at least a week of Halo 4 launch
