Recruit is no longer LE exclusive. Everyone starts with Recruit. The MK VI is indeed in the game, but past MK versions are not.

You are incorrect, BS Angel confirmed that the LE will NOT be getting the Strider and Scanner Helmet and Falcon emblem that comes with the stand alone War games Map Pass. The Map Pass is not free with the LE, it is in fact cheaper by %15 when bundled with the LE than paying $24.99 for the stand alone version. LE also no longer gets the Recruit Armor that was originally exclusive to the LE, now everyone gets it. And yes the FUD is only available through stream over Halo Waypoint so Ventus is correct about all of this. According to BS Angel, 343i is working on this weeks Halo Bulletin and will hopefully address the LE situation, if it is not addressed, I will cancel my LE and just buy the SE and War Games Map Pass

Well from my experience at SDCC there is far less spread than in past Halo titles...seemingly th advaced tech is finally showing through...although the human sniper still only has a 4 round clip lol. You are correct, there really was only 1 lie...however the amount of ambiguity with the contents of the LE is a little rough to swallow. Not only that but LE owners were promised "early access", not exclusive, but early access to the remaining 6 specializations once we hit SR50. It was also stated: "Receive early access to six Specializations, available at launch on Xbox LIVE, to achieve higher ranks in your Spartan career. Purchasers of the “Halo 4” Limited Edition will get access on launch day, while others will have to wait as Specializations are released over time." Well unless it only takes a couple weeks to hit SR50, than by allowing Standard Edition and Console Edition owners the ability to get all 6 remaining specailizations by Nov. 20th, that nullifies the fact that LE onwers get "early access." Its not so much the fact that things were not as they seemed, it is more of the principal of the matter...343i/M$ pulled a massive bait and switch and left certain details out to get more orders.

Yeah who knows man...I really hope there is. When first announced, the Warrior armor was the default, and Recruit armor was for LE...not so much anymore lol

Throwing my two cents in...I really could care less. I have played every Halo game, I have a 50 and a 42 in Halo 3, an Inheritor and an Eclipse in Reach...I play for fun, I enjoy playing with friends...thats the only reason I got so far iin halo 3, team doubles was a balst with a friend. If the game is fun, I dont care what the symbol is next to my name, it is just a symbol and means nothing. I do agree that there needs to be some sort of skill in the system to pair players so there wont be any more steamrolling like there was in Halo 3 and Reach. But I dont mind the progression system, i would rather continue to improve than lose xp/rank because of a couple of losses (not necessarily my fault, going up againt derankers, and a full team on reach etc.)

Thats true...all in all exclusive items are indeed a way to make more money so I uderstand that. But like I said, its just the fact of promising certain items to be exclusive to the LE and than making them available to everyone...in essence lying. But I do understadn your point.

ordinance drops very, thats why there is a mod through a specialization that allows you to "re-roll" if you dont like what your ordinace drop contians, you can get another. Ordinance drops contain random items. 1 weapon, 1 powerup, and 1 grenade

To me its the premise of everything...LE was announced with the Recruit armor as an exclusive and that was taken away. The early access to specializations was announced as exclusive to the LE and now that has been taken away. The regular standa lone War Games Pass inlcudes the two helmets and emblem, why not the LE which comes with the SAME War Games Pass? In essence those have been taken away. My thing is dont say youre going to give people something and than take them away...I understand I dont see my armor or skins, its all cosmetic, I get that, but the fact that we were supposed to get certain things and now they have been taken away is just not right. I personally find it immoral and a crude way of making more money down the road by releasing dlc packs.

Well i personally I prefer in game goodies over physical objects that will just collect dust. I got the LE from reach and just sold the statue. I enjoyed the in game goodies, and still use the Elite armor. When the LE was first announced it was stated that it came with the Recruit armor as well as an exclusive armor skin, weapon skin, and avatar armor. Now the Recruit armor has been taken away and given to everyone, no longer exclusive. I think it is a rip-off that the stand alone War Games Map Pass comes with the Strider and Scanner and Falson Emblem, yet the same map pass that comes with the LE doesnt come with those. That is unfair. When first announced, the LE was to have the 6 remaining Specializations once you hit SR-50, that was to be exclusive, yet now everyone who plays by Nov. 20th can have access to all 6 remaining specializations. Its not so much the fact that some of these are not a part of the LE anymore, but that 343i/M$ has taken them away and made the LE not so exclusive anymore. As I stated above, I can find the booklets and pamphlets online by Nov. 7th. AS far as FUD is concerned, you have to stream it from Halo Waypoint, so if you are having issues with your connection, you cant watch it. It would be much more worthwhile if it was a disc version. The fact of the matter is, the exclusivity of the LE is not so much exclusive anymore, and the goodies arent really goodies anymore either

A briefing packet that will collect dust on my shelf. I can look up all of the stuff in the briefing packet the day after it comes out on the internet, you know it will be on the internet, and that will last longer than sitting on my shelf. And I realize LE onwers still get the War Games Map Pass, but they dont get the Strider and Scanner Helmet and Falcon Emblem. I prefer in game stuff over stuff that will collect dust. And If you read the LE description on Halo Waypoint, the FUD is only through streaming of Waypoint, so if your connection is slow, you can not stream. Too many issues personally.
