Killcams will not be in every gametype...just the slayer based games. There are no killstreaks, there are Ordinance Drops which appear after kills, and assists for kills and obejectives. Pretty much helping your team will build up the Ordinance Drop meter. I like the additions, the loadouts are streamlined and provide just enough for each player to feel comfortable on any map. The killcams will play a role in slayer based games which is fine and do not last as long as CoD killcams. The Ordinance Drops are a nice addition supporting players who support their teams and change from gametype and map. The new weapons and vehicles are awesome, the AA's, Tacticla Packages and Support Packages are balanced. From playing it at SDCC I think it felt balanced, and a lot of it has changed since than for the better so I am extremely stoked

I do agree with you. I really am hoping that they remove the Falcon and insert the Pelican to fill the role. The Pelican was an early stage transport vehicle...the Pelican has easily filled that role since CE. So why not have the Pelican in Camp as well as MM

UK and AUS may still have some pre-orders, but I know that North America is all done with LE pre-orders. Hopefully you can still get one

Yeah....it is lame that M$ would do it that way. DLC movies is lame...pretty much makes it so if you want it for the long haul you need to buy it twice...kinda like Spartan Ops season passes to get the cheevos attached to each season, just a marketing ploy to make more money. Evil M$ lol

Chopper is not returning, spectre is not returning either. Hornet was seen in a Spartan Ops vid but has not been confirmed. Mammoth is a newer bigger Elephant. Revenant is not confirmed but would be cool to return.

Super powered weapons would remove the need for skill..it would make for too much of a reliance in the weapons. Halo has always been about the players skill...whoever is more skilled wins the fight, plain and simple. Power weapons in their current state allow for a bit of an upper hand, but not one where you can wipe out the enemy team repeatedly. A Super powered weapon would take away the balance between skill and weapon reliance.

I agree that although Spartan Ops is cool...it is lame that it is only for Xbox Live...just another ploy fot M$ to make money

Also just to note, it would appear that there will be 4 large scale maps (Longbow, Meltdown, Exile and Valhalla), 3 medium scale maps and 3 smaller scale maps. Should be some good choices for when Halo 4 launches

Meltdown looks pretty sweet...I am loving these new darker toned maps. Abandon and Meltdown look like my faves so far...but Solace and Haven are close behind lol

The woman I thought was Linda is in fact Commander Palmer. And to the above, Sierra1117 is correct, John-117 is not the only Spartan II left, along with Linda, Kelly and Fred still being alive, Jai, Douglas, Jerome, Victor, Adriana, Alice and Black Team are all still alived. Plus there are those that were discharged that still work for ONI. There were more Spartan II's than what many people think. The books do a much better job of explorign the different Spartan II's than the games do.

I love skulls and am glad they are returning...I think 343i will impelment them in an interesting way but still remain familiar to the fans. I am really hoping that the skulls will be similar to the ones from Halo 3, but thats just me. Also I hope they bring back Grunt Funeral from Halo CE...it was cheap but way fun for Legendary lol

Well according to the new walkthrough of Abandon with Kynan (lead designer of MM maps) the maps are all tailored to slayer but have been balanced to incorporate CTF and other Objective based games. So they will feel perfect for slayer games and will feel balanced for objective games like CTF. They all look good to me. Only thin I have noticed is that there really is no need for the DMR unless you are playing BTB maps. The mid range weapons like the LR, BR, and Carbine will work great on all maps essentially. From my experience at SDCC the Carbine and LR are the best rifles in the game..the BR was good but couldnt come close to the RoF of the Carbine and the dual modes of the LR.

So I need to state that I was incorrect in regards to Abandon being on Requiem. In the new bulletin it states that the map is on Erebus VII, a remote research facility on the edge of Human colonized space. I have a feeling that Arby will be showing up either at the end of the game or in Halo 5...seemingly 343i is following a simialr build to the original Halo trilogy...Halo CE was only Chief, fought the covie, and introduced the flood, Halo 4 is only Chief, fight the covie and introduce the prometheans. So most likely either Arby or someone else will be showing up in Halo 5.

I think thats the OP's point, for those with no internet, it is lame that they can not play Spartan Ops. FireFight was free for all and accessible to all. Spartan Ops, while very cool, is a marketing scheme by M$ to make more money off of people, especially by adding achievements to every season of it, so if you want the cheevos, you have to buy...

I brought this up in another thread...but at 3:00 or so Kiki talks about the truce between the humans and covenant/eltes being broken after Halo 3, aka after Glasslands and during The Thursday War. My guess is that the Storm faction is the elites that did not want a truce with humanity in Glasslands and split from the others in The Thursday War. Just saying
