  2. So supposedly the opportunity to assassinate a Knight in spartan ops will be presented in one of the missions, not necessarily the first mission however. Kind of like in Reach when the elite is standing in nightfall and you can assassinate him. The opportunity will be presented to us in one of the SO missions. Now there will be opportunities to assassinate Knights throughout other missionsin combat as well, but according to BS Angel there will be a clear opportunity in one of the missions.
  3. There are variants of the magnum, but not in Halo 4, there is no silenced magnum in War Games, there is only the magnum in war games. Why would a spartan carry a regular magnum for single wielding, and than flip out another "super" magnum for when he carries a flag? it doesnt make any sense.
  4. @humpstyles: Yes in one of the latest videos by BravoMLG he shows that the visor colors match the armor colors. So there will be lots to choose from. The specialization visor colors are colors not in the armor color list, so they will be a bit more eccentric looking lol.
  5. @Dinodares: Incorrect, in fact Frank O'Connor siad that the campaign experience is solely MC's. That adding the Spartan IV from War Games/Spartan Ops would take away from the MC experience in campaign. Halo 4 is MC's story, Spartan Ops is YOUR Spartan IV experience. All previous Halo games featuring MC have been MC campaign oriented. So too will Halo 4.
  6. yes I did read that as well in the Halo bulletin, now whether or not they do that is a different story. If they do indeed do that, than the pistiol would not make any sense. A regualr pistol on its own, and than a super pistol paired with the flag...too inconsistent.

  8. I agree with that Syko. As far as people with big egos in Halo, I have seen (or more rather heard it over mic's) plenty of times. People get waaaay too into Halo and think they are gods. More often than not they are cheating, sometimes they are legit. But really I could care less. If i kicked their butt in the previous game, why do I need to prove it again in 1v1. I was never a fan, it just increased unsportsmanship in my experience with it. Little kids, or immature adults trying to prove their worth through a game lol
  9. There is no quit ban now supposedly. Guitting will just not allow you to rank in ranked playlists and you wont gain any exp. You will not de-rank, but you just wont rank up when quitting. So multiple quits will mean that you have to win more to rank up. For social playlists when you quit you just wont earn exp. The new drop in/out system allows for less of a penalty when quitting from social matches. But as I stated when you quit from ranked games, you will not be able to rank for some time. As far as the booting system is concerned, Frankie stated that booting will only be on certain gametypes such as slayer games. But objective games like CTF or oddball ec. there will be nt be a boot system like in Reach. It will take consecutive betrayals to be booted now, not just one.
  10. Hmm could be a cool idea. But i think that is kind of how it works in Halo 4. When I played it at ComicCon, the grenades would explode when they came close to an enemy that was close to me. But when i threw one across the map at an enemey, it would blow up near them but not right next to them. So who knows...I do agree that the grenades in Reach were ridiculous, but what wasnt ridiculous in Reach lol
  11. I agree Victory, I really wish if I had the PP or Boltshot that that would be the weapon I carry when carrying the flag.
  12. Yeah the FOTUS armor for the Console is pretty cool...although it kinda looks like it has a male body part sticking out of it lol. I bought the LE and am stoked for the Recruit armor.
  13. i think I am more stoked for that than just the overall customization!! I love being able to stand there with the pistol or knife or even rocket launcher lol
  14. @Twinreaper: Ahh changing the gravity physics of the game could be what I felt when playing it. All I know is that the grenades didnt seem to go as far. Yes the grenades react differently to different material surfaces, but if a player is standing on a smooth surface, the grenades do not roll past them, as soon as they come close/or in contact with them, they explode.
  15. @IU IF A II IL: No you are mistaken. There is no one LE pre-order bonus. The Pre-order bonuses vary by where you bought the game. The LE bonuses that come with the LE are exclusive, just as the Console bonuses are exclusive. There will however be a PRe-Order Bonus DLC Pack that will release post halo 4 launch according to Frak O'Oconnor.
  16. They do explode faster, but it depends on the situation. When the grenades come close to the enemy be it in the air or on the ground, they explode, instead of bouncing on the groud past them for a bit. So if the player is on the edge of a cliff or railing and you throw a grenade, the grenade may go by them but it will explode immediately behind them, instead of as in Reach when they would just fall off and explode on their way down. The grenades were truly developed to match the pace of the gameplay. I wouldnt be too worried if I were you. 343i seems to have a good grasp on things, and already appears to be listening to the fans and community. So if they need to change the grenades, they will
  17. They didnt seem to fly as far as in Reach..they seemd similar to the ones in Halo 3, but with the damage and radius as the ones in Reach. Not having a ton of them flying over my head by teammates was nice...I am glad unless you have resupply you can not grenade spam.
  18. Halo 4 will be its on entity. It is taking aspects form the previous games that worked well. It is also developing aspects of its own. It is the start of a new trilogy so 343i is trying to make it its own series. As far as the armor goes, the 38 helmets revealed at PAX were confirmed by BS Angel at Waypoint to be the final build of the armory. The 38 helmets in the PAX build included the Console armor, LE armor, pre order items, and War Games helemts. So obviously if you dont own all of those you wont have all 38 of the helemts from the PAX build. But some look pretty good, while others do not...they will please some while not others. Comes with the territory.
  19. From my experience at ComicCon, the greandes were similar to Reach. However, you only get the 2 grenades you start with. Unless you have the resupply perk where you can pick up grenades from dead bodies. There are also grenade spawns on the map. But really its not like in Reach when you had seemingly unlimited access to grenades. Thus allowing for a decrease in grenade spamming and the "luck" of the grenade you mentioned above. i would not be too concerned. Also if the grenades still cause an issue once Halo 4 launches 343i can go back and fix it.

  21. That and it was really only used by people who had huge egos and thought they were the best. Usually when two people got into it in a game they would go into 1v1 to see who was the "better" Halo player. It was a joke in my opinion. adding options like the ones listed by the OP into 2v2 (doubles) would be awesome though
  22. They may but there is only going to be ONE remake included in the maps that launch with Halo4. The DLC Map Packs will include 3 maps and Frank O'Connor said they will not be remakes. So after the 3 map packs they may make some remakes.
  23. If anything the plasma rifle would have been the ar equivalent and the storm rifle the saw equivalent. but oh well...I never really used it in MM so it doesnt bother me
