haha yeah there is a lot of infor out about the LE and Console versions of Halo 4. There are a couple of threads here in the Halo 4 section worth checking out.

Yeah War Games Map Pack will be like the defiant and noble packs for reach etc. It is included in the LE of Halo 4, so that is why I was wondeing if the helmets that come with the War Games Map Pack also came with the War games Map Pack in the LE.

You can play War Games without the map pack...the War Games Map Pack is just a DLC pack that contains 6 maps to be released post launch of Halo 4. essentially the War Games Map Pack is just a bundle deal for future maps.

I like the inclusion of loadouts actually...plus the color/skin customization for armor and weapons looks pretty sweet also -

I agree...they will most likely be unlockable, but I have a feeling that they will only be unlocked if you purchase the War Games Map Pack.

To an extent I have to agree with you adam, the designs for most of these helmets do not look anything like what a Spartan Soldier should wear. however, I do think that these 2 and the recruit armor look the most like a true soldiers helmet.

I find it unlikely because the Pre-Order Bonus DLC Pack only has the pre-order bonuses (the retailer specific bonuses, WEB/CIO, Forest/Hazop etc.) while the Strider and Scanner helmet are extras for an item, not a pre-order bonus. If that makes sense lol

Usually extras associated with certain items and DLC are not unlockable through the standard game. Now it may come with the Pre-Order Bonus DLC pack that Frankie mentioned, but I find that highly unlikely.

it would be a shame if the Map Pack included with the LE did not come with the helmets. Would not make sense to have to buy the map pack twice just for the two helmets...

I agree jester, Grifball was awesome...I just hope they fix the lag that occurs when the dead bodies cover the floor lol

The length of the game will be perfect...343i knows what they are doing, and increasing the difficulty will also increase the length. Actually there are 9 levels, and if you recall Halo 3 had about the same amount of levels (10 I believe) and Halo 3 had a good length. So i would not be too worried.

Sounds like Halo 4 should have a pretty sweet story arc...I am glad Karen traviss is participating in the story

Agreed, a new campaign every week looks awesome and the Cheevo's attached to Spartan Ops look pretty epic

I am glad they are adding more ways for t-bagging to be eliminated (dissolving weapons, instant spawn etc.) t-bagging is just a sign of immaturity
