As far as my moms concerned, Halo is only about shooting. Even though she's never seen gameplay, she knows it has guns and that's enough for her to draw that conclusion. So like any good halo fan, I watched all the episodes in order tonight in anticipation of this upcoming Tuesday. I decided to watch it its my mom as an "experiment". She wasn't really interested by the first two episodes because it seemed like your typical sci-fi setting to her. But when the covenant attacked in episode 3, she was genuinely scared. It was awesome. When the cadets started dying she was sad because she grew attached to them. Episode 5 just made her curious as to the origins of the Spartans and what the UNSC actually was. She was also interested in Halo 4's upcoming story based on the intros to each of the episode, so bravo 343. You guys made one non-halo fan interested in the story, so I would consider Forward Unto Dawn a success.

Halo is just enough change for the series.

You need to put Cryptum and Primordium at the top. The Flood next to Halo CE, then First Strike, then Ghosts of Onyx. Halo 3 ODST needs to be in between Halo 2 and 3 and then it's complete.

Halo 4 will feature a loadout system where you can choose your weapons, armor abilities, grenades, tactical package, and modifications. If you don't know what some of those mean, look them up, because its too much to explain. But there will still be game types that gives everyone the same loadout.

I don't think it depends on the number of fingers they have as much as it does on the DNA of humans. All of the activation "switches" needed to activate forerunner artifacts seem like touch pads so the number of fingers doesn't matter.

No, you can't understand simple things. Invasion has nothing to do with campaign, and elites are in campaign. Elites are essential for invasion, elites aren't in multiplayer. Connect the dots.
