"First thing is first..your robots..smart robots granted..but not technically forerunners....secondly, i could easily wipe all your forces clean out of this system....thirdly if you want to make a deal...all your going to get is that i'll allow someone of yours to watch over the site....and fourth, we dont use this to win any war, we use this technology to help my people stay safe when forming new colonies..not to mention the flood.....and if you EVER threaten me on my ship again..ill have you turned into shrapnel for our grenades...now that we have all that nasty buisness out of the way, follow me to my briefing room and we can discuss details" The Commander walked back to the briefing room and sat at his chair with Nova close in tow.

"I have more then an idea....do you have any idea how to mount a Precursor core properly onto a ship this size? ......no...Not even the forerunners could...Now I'd like to ask what your doing at a site that has been recovered by my soldiers for the Archturion Hierarchy" The Commander asked standing tall in his Armour

"Uh...if you say so..." The Major said as he contacted the Dark Zad "Commander we have..uh..some intelligent Forerunner robot things coming up tothe ship to talk with you about something" "Understood.... The Following is from an Examiner article Source The Xbox 720 will apparently be receiving four brand-new games, and these Xbox 720 titles could be part of Microsoft's plan to compete with the PlayStation 4 in the way of a superior selection of games. According to a report from GamingEverything on Friday, Jonathan Browne, who is a senior product manager within Microsoft’s first-party development group, confirmed, via a LinkedIn profile, his position within Microsoft and also said he has been working on the development side of four upcoming new Intellectual Properties (IPs). "I am currently a strategic Senior Product Manager/Product Planner within the Microsoft 1st Party Publishing group. "I have been the primary product manager on four unannounced new IP and have been a key contributor to bringing these IP from the very early concept phase through green light to production," Browne said. It would be interesting to see what types of IPs Microsoft has been working on because with increasing costs of developing games, it's quite impressive that the company has been able to still develop at least four new IPs. They are quite well off for money though, so with that being said, Micrsoft could be positioning itself for a major wave of first-party content for when the Xbox 720 debuts.

The following is taken from an article on Examiner.com Source The developer of "Assassin's Creed 4" seems to working with another studio named Ivory Tower to bring a new game to next-generation systems like Xbox 720. According to a report from NowGamer on Friday, a new profile from a Lead 3D Artist at Ubisofter Annecy, Sébastien Alzamora, has unveiled a new project that is in the works between the two developing studios. The unannounced title looks like it will be hitting the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and its looks like Xbox 720. The game, if still in development, looks like it has been under development since 2011, but given that, it's entirely possible this could be associated with the cancelled "Prince of Persia" reboot as well. This does not seem likely because the studio Ubisoft Annecy seems to be working quite vigorously on an "undisclosed project" as well. The developer is a small studio with not a lot of publicity, as it has served as an outsourcing location for Ubisoft, which included work they did on "Assassin's Creed's" multiplayer. Another Ubisoft Annecy developer's profile, Jérôme Kedzierski (Senior Level Artist), states that he is also working on the same "undisclosed project" and that a description for the game will be coming soon. Some of the other roles that Ubisoft Annecy is currently hiring for are positions such as: Online Programmer, Lead Level Artist and Live Programmer.

The Following is taken from an article on mcvuk.com Source The smash hit Minecraft is the first game to top the UK Xbox Live Arcade Top Ten. The Top Ten will be printed exclusively as part of MCV’s market-leading charts and market data coverage every week. And our first XBLA Top Ten, for the week ending January 27th, is below. Unsurprisingly, Minecraft is the top seller. The game has dominated the Xbox digital charts for nine months. Sega's new IP The Cave - developed by Double Fine – just misses out at No.2. The chart joins MCV’s exclusive PSN Top Ten, which includes sales data from across Europe. XBOX LIVE ARCADE UK TOP TEN - For the week ending January 27th 1. The following is taken from xblafans.com Source The wildly popular card game that encourages you to kill everything, backstab your friends and make off with the treasure, is coming to Xbox Live. Steve Jackson Games’ Munchkin is the dungeon-diving experience “without any of that stupid role-playing stuff.” Its irreverent humor, easy-to-learn rules and addictive cutthroat gameplay have spawned a Munchkin empire; spinning off dozens of expansion decks, a board game, and ironically, a role-playing game. The Munckin invasion of the Xbox 360 is being spearheaded by Tinderbox Entertainment, an independent developer of both videogames and traditional board games. First announced back in 2011, the Munchkin team has been working diligently to translate the game digitally, stating on their official Facebook Page in early January that we can expect the finished product, “Soon. Munchkin for Xbox is coming soon.” Earlier this week, an image of the game popped up on Steve Jackson Games’ official Twitter Page. Though they’re quick to call it a demo, it appears to be shaping up nicely and will hit Xbox first, before being migrated to other undetermined platforms afterward. They also qualified what to expect with the initial release, indicating that post-release content could potentially introduce the many expansion sets in the form of downloadable content. We’re working to confirm whether Munchkin will be an officially branded Arcade title, but it’s hard to imagine it landing anywhere other than Xbox Live Arcade. Hit the jump to check out the first in-game image

The following is from Gamingblend.com Source When breaking down some of the stats for the performance of the Xbox 360 throughout 2012, one thing that became the centerpiece of attention was that the one thing carrying the Xbox 360 through the revenue barriers and maintaining a modicum of success was Xbox Live. Well, one of the things that actually made Xbox Live such a success in 2012 was actually the indie-title-that-could, Minecraft. Research and data marketing firm Forecasting & Analyzing Digital Entertainment (a.k.a, FADE) released some numbers for the Xbox Live platform, following the poor numbers of the Xbox 360's performance in 2012, FADE paints a different light on the same scenario, further highlighting why the Xbox Live platform carried the Xbox 360 across the finish line in 2012 to a light clap and sparse nods of approval: It was mostly due to Minecraft. The Xbox Live division racked up an impressive $290 million USD in revenue throughout 2012 but $97.4 million of that was attributed to Minecraft, which moved an impressive 500,000 digital units in December alone. In a distant second was Trials Evolution and TellTale's Walking Dead to round out third place. You can check out the top 10 Xbox Live Arcade titles and their financial performance throughout the previous year with the chart below. Estimated Top Ten XBLA Titles in 2012, Ordered by Gross Revenues 1.) Minecraft (4J Studios) - 4,997,000 Units / $97,388,000 2.) Trials Evolution (RedLynx, LTD) - 1,002,000 Units / $14,298,000 3.) The Walking Dead (TellTale Games) - 2,615,000 Units / $10,277,000 4.) Counterstrike: GO (Valve) - 273,000 Units / $3,973,000 5.) Castle Crashers (The Behemoth) - 252,000 Units / $3,778,000 6.) Gotham City Impostors (Monolith Productions) - 258,000 / $3,698,000 7.) I Am Alive (Ubisoft) - 245,000 Units / $3,609,000 8.) Tony Hawk's PS HD (Robomodo) - 226,000 Units / $3,261,000 9.) Alan Wake's American Nightmare (Remedy Entertainment) - 206,000 Units / $2,903,000 10.) Trials HD (RedLynx, LTD) - 203,000 / $2,799,000

"Well im in command of this research mission..but my fleet commander is in orbit. So anything spoken about is to be with him. I can inform him your coming if you like...but id also ask if you hold of your ..sentinals..from touching anything until you talk with my commander" Replied the Major as he lowered his weapon, turning to his men to tell them to do the same. Around the site, many researchers became nervous from the intrusion of the sentinals.
-
Major Savvad jumped at the sound of the voice behind him and rose his weapon in defence. "Uh..hi..who are you exactly?" The 3 Soldiers nearest him took up defensive positions.
-
In my opinion..Assault weapons should be completely banned. Any other weapons need to be closely monitored, with a limit on how many guns and ammo you can have at any one time. In Aus, weapon restrictions are REALLY tough....thats why we rarely have school shootings or other such tragedies... But i also know our system would be VERY difficult if not impossible for the US to enforce.
-
"Keep those Research teams informed of our position, and make sure they do the same with us..any requests to scout the surrounding area Id like to know in advance" The Commander Zax told his Comm's officer. "Keep that message replaying too, I need to make sure there are some people out there willing to ally" The commander paced to the front of the Bridge and looked out to the planet.... "I want 2 more teams sent down for added security"
-
The Doctor entered the Briefing room and sat across from the Fleet Commander Zax. "Finally... Doctor, i need to know the status of the Forerunner Artifacts... and what exactly we can learn from them" "Of course Commander..so far we have found plenty of weapons and have begun to study the Hard Light cores and the materials they are made of. But we also discovered several power cores and we believe we can attach them to the ship to increase power to weapons and the slip space drive..however it could be risky and i believe we should keep some to take back to the Main Fleet station" "Understood Doctor....continue what you believe is the correct course of action..dismissed" responded the commander. The Doctor stood up and left the briefing room while the Commander walked back onto the bridge, sitting on his chair and began looking through training reports.
-
The ground teams began to ship parts of Forerunner tech back to the Darku Zad for Research. Two Transport ships carrying Forerunner power cores and weapons entered the sixth hanger and were quickly unloaded and sent to research labs all over the ship. "Doctor Skafg report to my briefing room immediatly" The Commander spoke through the comms before heading into his briefing room , tapping through his datapad, looking through the recently aquired tech.

Possibly. I already decided that they had come into contact with a single Precursor power core, nothing else, and they used that to advance more quickly. I'll think about what you said though -
The ground teams arrived at the planets Forerunner structures and spread out, setting up defence turrets and setting up research stations. Several troops transports dropped off additional troops and they began to form patrols and start dismantling Forerunner tech. "This is commander Zax to Ground team 1, is the site operational?" "Yes sir, all defences up and research teams in place" "Good, keep me informed" The commander said as he sat back in his seat, looking out over the vast expense of space
-
"This is commander Zax to the Navigation Officer...set course for the planet at the following co ordinates and get us there at max speed" "Understood sir" Replied the Navigation officer over the comms The small Fleet shot off towards the planet titled Curd Dzaal , the ship had picked up traces of Forerunner architecture on the planet and command had sent secondary objectives to recover such Technology for study. The Darku Zad lead the fleet as it came out of slip space orbiting the planet and began conducting sweeps. "Send out research teams, i want the place locked down and fortified" Commander Zax ordered... and soon enough 3 teams of troops were heading down to the Forerunner site to gain control.

A headset....maybe i can blast Witchcraft by Pendulum into their ears exploding their heads

"This is unacceptable!" Zax slammed his armoured fists onto the desk as the soldier reported to him about the day's training simulations. "My Soldiers need to be atleast in the 5th Percentile.... Not the 10th...Major, your going to run double tests tomorrow, I want them up to shape, no slackers on my fleet, am i understood?!" Zax shouted "Yes sir, I'll run triple test's if they dont shape up, and keep going if they still aren't after that sir" The Major saluted "Good.... We need to be prepared, apparently command wants us to scout out several systems nearby, and keep that message on loop. Id rather have every man and woman up to shape and combat ready incase things dont go as planned" "Sir if i may ask..what is our objective?" "We need to find an acceptable ally out here, someone to provide us with information about the surrounding systems, That's why they sent our fleet out here, to recon and perhaps even set up a forward operating station" "Understood sir, I believe i need to get back to the training deck, I have another test scheduled soon" The Major Saluted "OF course, your dismissed" Zax saluted and the Major left. The commander went back to his datapad, searching for suitable planets to send recon groups too....
