Bauer jogged back into the Barracks and walked to the end of the barracks, on the first floor. Bauer refused to use officer's Floor plainly because he still believed he was as equal to the grunts as any other soldier. He laid down on his cot and took out the picture once again....starring at it for a fair amount of time. His wounds stung a little but everything was slightly better....

Bauer looked up.. "Yeah, you can say that" Bauer Laughed "Flood dont like it when you empty shotgun shells into their face" "Thanks again Soto......." Bauer said as she walked off

Bauer accepted the advice gladly.... "Thanks, i've gone up against flood before, about 2 years ago, but it was hell back then, everyone was either dead, badly wounded or...one of those things" Bauer starred into the distance... "I got onto the evac Pelican luckily..... although i blacked out, so i didnt have a chance to address my wounds, heh" Bauer kept the gauze pressed down...... "Anyway, thanks for this. I know what its like out there, i've fought for quite a while..... Tank Jockeys forget what its like outside of their little enclosed box sometimes" "I wont forget to mention you in my report...nothing bad though heh"

Bauer looked up at Soto.... "Yeah heh, i think i may need to get some new armour, this one appears to have some blood on it" Bauer wiped some blood off with a cloth and cleaned some of his cuts...

Bauer turned around, sensing Soto's anger.. "Soto...your not in trouble, i just dont need any Marines getting their faces bashed in today. Especially after what happened" Bauer continued on and sat back down to attend to his wounds....

Lt Bauer walked into the Motorpool as Soto was leaving and said to her just before she exited... "Id stay around for about 3 mintues" He walked past and straight to Charlie 3-1.. "Soldier...If i ever see a reckless move like that again, Im going to allow Soto over there have a good 30 minute sparring session with you..... then im going to recommend you be removed from ever handling a tank again....Do i make myself clear?!" The Soldier's all stood to attention quickly. Charlie 3-1 stuttered "Uh, y..y..yes sir" He saluted "Good, at ease and get yourself cleaned up" Bauer walked past Soto saying "Try to keep your temper in check"

Consider Microsoft laid down a hefty $8.5 billion sum in 2011 for Skype, I'd probably want to put that software in everything I made too. This would, effectively, make the system cross platform on top of cross-game. The source, said to be, "familiar with the matter," was quoted saying that Microsoft would be, "consolidating all their communications technology." He also made this statement specific to Xbox: "You might jump to the conclusion that we'll see asynchronous voice and video messages in next-gen Xbox Live." This is one of those rumors that seems so true simply because it would be stupid not to do. I mean, think about it. Microsoft is already pushing further cross-platform synchronization, like with the Windows 8 store. They've also got this Kinect thing which makes a pretty good living room camera. Like I said earlier, they spent $8.5 billion on Skype, so just put all this stuff together and damn, that's a job well done. As for the related job listings over at Microsoft, the company is hiring a user interface designer for the "next Xbox" at their UK-based Skype offices. The listing has the following statement: "The team you'll join is responsible for Skype in the living room (broadly the home), across various devices but with a focus on the large screen and the next generation of Xbox." As untrustworthy as the source's information is above, it's pretty clear what Microsoft according to this job listing, right? Hopefully we hear more information as we get closer to E3, but considering how protective console developers are of the software being run it may be a while before we confirmation. I'll say it again though: now that we've heard about this, it's silly to think Microsoft wouldn't add Skype into Xbox LIVE. Syko's Note: I use Skype to talk to friends, as do MANY many other people, and if this is implemented properly we could be looking at a much better system to talk to our friends over XBL.

Bauer heard Soto over the comms.... "Charlie 3-1 shot the slug......saw it all from the front gate" "And if i see you misfire like that again soldier....im going to shove that tanks barrel right up your.....you get the rest" (Talking to Charlie 3-1)

Bauer walked bac kand sat down with the shotgun, and looked at his armour.. Seemed as if the flood had cut through most of the layers, Marine armour wasn't very strong. His under shirt was slightly ripped and he had several cuts and bruises over him, blood seemed to be evident on his armour... "Well crap, this is gonna hurt tomorrow"

The battle seemed to slow down. Marines and ODST's just mopping up a few flood forms before burning them with Flame Throwers Bauer looked down at the plains where the Marines fell... "Poor SOB's.... didn't even know what hit them"

Bauer found himself quite cut up, his armour was slashed at, his skin bleeding and his face bruised... He stomped on a barely surviving flood form and made his way back into the base, sitting on an ammo crate catching his breathe...

Bauer Fired once, twice...killing 2 flood forms that came closer... the Marine to his left was too busy to notice a flood infector form lunge at him Bauer kicked it out of the air and continued to fire at the flood.. Several Marines went down..the only problem was that they stood back up a short time after... Bauer found himself killing the men he was just fighting with...it was horrible, but bauer stood strong and defended the base... "We need backup at the front gate... NOW!!!" Yelled LT Bauer over the comms

Bauer responded quickly and ran towards the front of the base. When he arrived he saw an alarming number of flood making its way to the base, so he ran to the nearby weapons locker and took out a shotgun. He slipped several slugs into the Shotgun and put the rest in the ammo pouch on his armour. He readied himself and took cover behind a barricade...

Bauer found himself taking his Magnum fully apart and putting it back together..twice... He decided he needed a jog so he climbed over the rail and slid down the wall, which, while unorthodox, was much quicker then going down the stairs. He began jogging the perimeter at a fairly good pace.

Bauer watched the female soldier as she made her rounds..... He gripped his Magnum and bought it out and began tinkering with it,cleaning it, anything to get his mind off of recent events....

Bauer stood against the rail, staring out into the darkness... He thought he would take watch tonight, can never have enough guards on a UNSC base. He kept thinking about recent events, the loss of his squad and him taking up the offer to join the Spartan 4's..... Everything was going by quickly .....

Bauer made his way to sector 4. Passing several Marines and ODST's on the way, all seemed to be busy in one aspect or another.....something was coming and Jake new it. When he entered sector 4 he checked the board to see..once again.. he was a lone operator againts a Spartan 2 and some other marines.... "Well, this should be fun" He sat down and readied himself for the upcoming battle, one that was sure to bring a little extra competition to the ranks...seeing as it WAS a Spartan 2..... Then he heard Anton over the speaker and rolled his eyes as he made his way back to the barracks.... "or maybe not...."

Yeah we didn't expect to get Burnie Burns involved....

"At ease soldier...and thanks...good luck out there" Bauer shook the Private's hand and walked back to his seat.....

Lt Bauer made his way to the team board.... "Whose squad am i on?........"

Id say Nord,Redguard or imperial, because im straight up hack and slash...it makes alot of things easier and simple lol....

Not really, considering i already stated that people either give good reasons, not just swear and rant, or id ask for their post to be removed.....if it gets outta hand, and i cant handle it, then ILL ask for it to be Locked....

Bauer made his way to Charlie Base Sector 4 fairly quickly, after quickly shaving the stubble from his chin. Once inside he suited up and sat down on the bench, quiet as usual, staring at a picture of his lost loved ones.....
