Sadly, the world is this way about everything - everyone labels each other, no one can tolerate other opinions. Everyone perceives things differently - that's the way it is. Just like you are born as ugly or as beautiful as you are - without choice. This isn't just some video game community issue -- IT'S HUMANITY! The fools who hate each other -- who abuse one another because of silly things like skin color or beliefs! And that's just humans...

Hello everyone. Silent Orbis here, and as you may have known, I've been working on a new video game project. I can't have a game without a studio name... I present to you OrbiStudios. As I'm working on my game I'll update this thread with what's happening, etc. So, here's my first update. UPDATE #1 HaloGeek and Edward Kenway have joined OrbiStudios as writers for our new game. This is great, because HaloGeek has won multiple 1st place writing competitions in Moscow, and Edward Kenway is our beloved news writer - absolutely amazing. Edward will also manage social media. Now, with that said, I'm looking for a 2D concept artist. You can apply via this thread, but you need to have one picture posted for evaluation. That's all. UPDATE #2 JXZAW and Delpen9 are officially in the art department! Delpen9 is the environmental concept artist, and JXZAW will be editing. HaloGeek has quit the writer position and is now the music composer. Finally, I need a DJ. Anyone who can do dubstep with crystal clear sound! You'll be editing HaloGeek's work with the dubstep effect to it. PIANO DUBSTEP! UPDATE #3 Edward Kenway has officially quit the writer position. We aren't in need of a writer though, as we've fixed the issue ourselves. Yang Xiao Long is on the team, as training for a DJ, and some writing. If he ends up not being able to do the DJ position, then we'll be in search. Our project on top of all this, is still going amazing for the time being.

Oh, Twinreaper, try Linkedin, and pay $10 a month for premium if you can afford it - it's SO helpful.

I'm not one to talk, but my father's told me time and time again to (once I grow up) to never, EVER, get married unless I'm financially stable. So that's what I'd recommend. My dad was also out of work for the last year, snd he finally got one at his old company, with some people he used to work with. And he hates it, because the very person he trained back in the day is his new boss. But it's still temporary, and there's a financial base. He's now actively applying for better jobs, and it has helped. So try to search your career history, get something small but helpful, because "over qualification" wouldn't be an issue with old pals. Basically, try to get hooked up. I hope that helped.

Grand Theft Auto... I agree, but it'd be an outlier in this case - we're generalizing a bit here. But GTA is absolute garbage for the mind.

Alright. I'm just a kid. I have no experience. None at all. I have no money, but I think that can be fixed with Unity Free. Regardless. I really want to get a game started... so if there's anyone that knows how to program...I'd be willing to do the rest. Game design is like a way to pursue imagination - creativity. I want this experience so badly. I'll take care of the logo, story, ideas, layout, etc. I just need someone technical. For a kid, I'm pretty good at business and marketing. But I really want to know if anyone's interested. Constructive criticism is appreciated, but I won't just stop. I won't just end it. I will continue, and try hard to pursue my creativity.

Hey everyone. In the midst of everything Halo/Destiny happening, a thought passed through my mind. Bungie is OVER with Halo, and they're focusing on their new flagship - Destiny. Honestly, Destiny looks amazing. I can't wait for the loot and cool weapons, and it just looks so good... Almost too good. Yep. I actually am getting my attention drawn away from Halo 5 and am more pumped for Destiny. And, what reason isn't there to? I mean Bungie is still the reason we ever had Halo. And now I realize that maybe that's what Bungie wants. Maybe it's just some passive aggressive tactic. So, what do you guys think?

Better to get Halo 2 PC... It'll run on so many computers due to low system requirements - and most of us have PC's from 2007 minimum. So, there is your solution. As for graphics, if your PC is capable, install a graphics mod.

I probably have a better reflex than your average street kid - thanks to gaming. And, there are so many history assignments I would've failed without Assassin's Creed, I swear.

Sadly, no. But they are working on "Halo Bootcamp", which has only been confirmed. But, in the mean time, Halo 2 mods might add some excitement to life!

I was kidding with you, sir. "What are you smoking?" is a metaphor, which frankly isn't something insulting, to me - which shows that I didn't intend to hurt you. And, it is 343i's first game after all. After acknowledging that, one realizes that all games change. Now, being narrow minded means that you are fixated on one opinion to the extreme - you either love it or hate it. That is what narrow mindedness is. I don't give Halo 4 a perfect rating, but I think it's still a fun game. I don't feel that those guns were OP, but Halo 4 isn't ALL good. I definitely got ripped off by buying a limited edition, as all the exclusive DLC was given away to the public later. And I definitely feel like some things, like Spartan Ops replacing firefight sucked. But, I believe a lot of that change was actually good, that's where you and I differed. And, I feel like Halo's just getting started. But I would like you to give Halo 5 a chance - as 343i has had enough time.
