Hello everyone. My dad preordered an Xbox One Day One edition and cancelled. Now he FINALLY changed his mind, but they're all sold out. So I was wondering if anyone had a preorder of the Xbox One Day One edition available. Maybe you could change the address to our's or something. We are willing to pay $499.99 straight up front. Hey... I threw a like. The graphics -in my opinion- aren't that hot, but neither are they bad. Theyr'e exceptionally well for this type of game in general.

I just want to put this out for all of you... Microsoft wanted to make a Steam for all of YOU! OPEN YOUR EYES! Microsoft didn't want to randomly stop making discs, because that'd be too much for all of you "sensitive" folks out there to suck in... So obviously the best way to shape gaming into ALL-DIGITAL was to do DRM... And slowly erode discs away. Had you not protested and hated... Then games would be sold bith digitally and physically... Microsoft was going to make a digital version of every game on the DRM condition... They blocked used games to make you used to not being able to trade-in (as it is digitally)... None of you saw this point of view... And I know many still can't grasp this...

Oh wow. 85 MPH... a wimp like me could NEVER handle that. As for getting shot, luckily I'm in Salt Lake City, and Mormons aren't very violent... Though, they are pretty racist to me... -.-

Okay, I'll just leave this discovery here. This is a screenshot of what I just saw... I have no idea what's going on here... NOTICE THE $99 PRICE TAG! As you can see... it's just as much as the Halo 4 LE, so it could be a LE, or just a glitch in the systems. We all know what the third possibility is... As Microsoft being the publisher, I wouldn't be surprised.

I don't know guys. It honestly does lag a lot if you don't have THE right specs. SSD works great if you boot Windows from it... Regardless... Wait a couple of weeks before updating to Windows 8.1, because a Microsoft employee we talked to claimed that it has too many errors. In the meanwhile, I'd recommend a program called Classic Shell, which I posted a topic about way back. Anyway, it allows for a start button, a list, or you can just have a start button that takes you to the actual start screen. Though, I brought this up because of your issue. This program allows for you to disable corners, that trigger the charm, multitasking, etc. The feature is there. But my friend, in this world, if you take advantage of every program, and of the internet, you'll find that these things make your life easier. For me, that "annoying" thing is actually helpful, and I LOVED seeing Windows evolve to this stage. I can't imagine Windows like it used to be anymore. That metro UI is beautiful, and simplistic. Just learn to love its beauty and elegance. If you don't, then by all means it is up to you. But, I advise that you take full advantage of Windows 8; it'll make life FAR MORE easier.

Okay guys.. this may be a little awkward... I need your help. I used to game quite a bit. I had PS One (it wasn't exactly my OWN, more of my dad just playing now and then) , and I played rated C games when I was three! Then, I got a PS2 when I was five, and I used to get all 'dem rated E games. I actually had that PS2 for %80 percent of the generation of Xbox 360 and PS3. Then, in 2010, we got a 360, just for Kinect, because we were "decieved" by MS. Anyway, the main point of that was casual/fmily gaming. But it did eventually evolve into me becoming a core gamer; straight-up. Then my dad saw that I was playing it too much and added restraints. I was... a bit mischievous. I found my way around tht time limit system on the Xbox 360. Regardless, my dad found out- of course. That cycle went on over and over, where he kept on setting a new password. Finally, he got rid of those time restrictions. And, he actually randomly decided to get me a 3 month Xbox Live gold membership. Then after it expired, he wouldn't renew it since I spent too much time on it. Then he eventually sold it, because I still did spend quite a bit time on it. It's been almost a year now since I haven't had a game console at all. No gaming. Nothing. Just been watching TV. Now the Xbox One is coming out, and my dad preordered it for me as a surprise, because I was spending my summer doing a very academic thing, which he was SO proud of. He was happy with me. Then he showed me the pre order receipt. Apparently, he started noticing me becoming unwise with time again. So he said that he cancelled it. Now, I'm not sure if that's true and he'll surprise me. There IS a chance. But I think he's being legit here. Any advice folks? Any advice on how I can convince him to get me one? I don't have an allowance, or anything, etc., and I can't JUST convince him. I've already tried. He already knows about all the smart glass, TV, etc. features and he doesn't care. I've also told him that maybe I could get some sort of reasonable schedule going, where if I don't obey I get the Xbox taken away or something. I don't know, but I know my self. I HAVE matured a lot, and I am willing to follow contraints, and a schedule, without any issue. But.., is it too late for my parent's to understand this?
