I'm glad, I was always going after Commendations in Firefight and figured there had to be someone else who tried to complete Commendations too. Just as a heads up, if you do Shootout in Valhalla on Normal, there are TONS of enemies. Plenty of Banshees, Hunters, and Elites. I think I'm going to compose a guide for what enemies are on what chapters and episodes to make this process easier. Think you wanna contribute?

Yes, but when people become entitled to their opinions, it essentially turns into a complaint. It just seems people want the game tailored to their every need. Whatever happened to adaptation? Halo has to evolve, and it's fanbase does as well. I'm not saying that I dislike any of you personally, I'm not that cynical; this is aimed at the general FPS base. Play what you like. ...Don't **** where you eat.

There are like 5 other threads for the Boltshot, use the search function before creating redundant threads. As for the Boltshot goes, this is my opinion that I posted in the other thread: The boltshot isn't OP at all. It's single fire mode is terrible. It's charge shot is timed and also consumes half the clip. It's charge shot only kills a little bit past melee range. Plasma Pistol charge shot + melee kills just the same. Magnum 3 shots + melee kills just the same. It makes a charging noise that you can't miss. All weapons are "OP" in their own way. It just depends how you use them, under what conditions, and in what scenarios.

I just can't wait for early 2013 so the complainers will shut their mouths, or better yet, stop coming to forums and complaining. I still believe in 343i, and I hope there are others who do too.

Could you briefly explain in Layman's terms what the 'chamber rate' is? Thanks in advance m8.

Composer was my personal favorite. The storyline got pretty heavy here.

They are vulnerable when they spawn Watchers. If you kill them while they spawn it, the Watcher is much less intimidating and challenging to kill, so utilize this time appropriately.' Once they teleport, they won't teleport again for a "while". I put that in quotations because you should be able to kill them before they teleport again. A good strategy is to pop them in the head until they teleport, quickly locate them and finish them off. This doesn't work nearly as well when there are multiple Knights, so use it in 1-on-1 or 1-on-2 circumstances. Don't shy off if on an assault with a Shotgun or Scattershot, keep at it and shove it down their throats to make sure they can't retreat. Take advantage of when their "shield" breaks. You'll see a blue mist scatter once their shields break (on Legendary this matters big time). You'll only need 2 or 3 more headshots to kill them. I've noticed with Knights that headshots don't matter nearly as much as with Covenant; as long as you put multiple shots into them, they're going to die.

Are you sure you beat it while you were online? I've seen a lot of these problems fixed just by making sure you're connected to XBL before completing them.

The mauler came from the Brutes, so we won't be seeing it anymore. The Gravity Hammer is only back because the Sangheili picked it up off the ground after a battle and now adopted it's technology. The Concussion Rifle is the gun that fits the "shotgun-niche" from the Covie side, along with the Forerunner Scattershot and the UNSC Shotgun.

You'd be better off asking on their forums instead of the Community Forums, which you're on right now

The Sanghelli still "wort wort wort".

Also, you have to make sure the Intro and Epilogue are done on Legendary as well. Some people forget these since they're not actual "Missions".

i think you have until 1/31/13 to apply them, not to use them...the Double XP will obviously still be applied to your account.

Mantis- Great addition or overpowered noob vehicle...
Hᴜᴍᴘsᴛʏʟᴇs replied to DN2012's topic in Halo 4
Definitely a good, well-balanced vehicle. It is of course a power-weapon, taking the Scorpion's place as a one-manned, more maneuverable version of it. Why it isn't OP: It can be overwhelmed easily, just like any vehicle. EMPs completely deactivate it temporarily Shields deplete very fast, take a while to charge back up Overheat and bloom on chain gun is fair, rocket pod reload is fair. Vulnerability if the melee-stomp misses target. Long respawn rate. All it takes is good teamwork and a gameplan to destroy one I.E. a Sniper and a Banshee. Banshee plays the distraction role while chipping away with it's plasma gun, Sniper picks it off from long distance. The Laser takes it down easily too. Now, in the right hands, a Mantis is everything. If the Mantis takes cover, comes out when appropriate, controls a certain location on the battlefield with multiple cover/support teammates, etc...It is the most prominent player in the match. It all depends on how one uses it, and how it's opponents react. -
The Crazy Grunt's Riddle Challenge!
Hᴜᴍᴘsᴛʏʟᴇs replied to The Fiery Knight's topic in General Discussion
Close, but no cigar. You have the right concept. -
I loved how we got to take down a Covie terrorist. No spoiler tag because it's essentially not a spoiler.
-
Good idea, then you'll get a s|-|it ton of XP when you start getting XP again, haha.
-
Same...sadly. hahaha. I really hope when I get to SR-70, I'll have all Specializations available...even though I'm already OP-66.
-
Source?

Some of the Specialization Support Upgrades are waaay more useful than having a Primary in your Secondary slot. You're bound to get an Ordnance weapon if you use your Primary correctly anyways, which would replace the Secondary.

If Spartans had the Flood's Thruster Pack, it would be extremely OP to say the least. The current Spartan's Thruster Pack definitely needs a decent buff, but not to the extent of the Flood.

My Honest Review of Halo 4 War Games - Rank SR-38 (42 now)
Hᴜᴍᴘsᴛʏʟᴇs replied to sindronian's topic in Halo 4
Errrrr, do you mean decreased? -
I'm a completionist. I enjoy going after the Commendations in Halo to give me sometime to work towards. I've been playing a lot of Spartan Ops and slayin' a bunch of Covies and Forerunners. I actually already have the Backstab Commendation mastered My question is: Does the Difficulty Level, such as Normal, Heroic, or Legendary, upgrade or downgrade the enemy's rank? Some of the enemies have different ranks; I.E. Knights are Regular, Commander, Battlewagon, etc. Each class of enemy has a few different ranks which pertain to certain commendations. A few Commendations I have 4/6 whereas some are still 0/6 since various ranks are harder to run into. Since getting these Commendations is much easier on Normal, is it worth doing them on Legendary to encounter higher ranked enemies? Or does this just give the enemies more health, better shields, more accuracy, etc.?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe you can only get the Mark IV armor from Solo Legendary. GT - humpstyles. I'm going to be on a lot today and tomorrow if you want to knock some out.
