Hey, I have a thrust pack, and this is crazy... but now it's blue instead of yellow, if they mix they make green.

It seems like it's too quick though. At least with an assassination, it takes like 2 or 3 seconds...and also you can rotate the camera a whole 360 to check on impending danger behind you... I digress...I'll still end up using it more than the others.

I still don't really see the need for 3rd person...is it so you have a larger view of your surroundings? Considering the entire "thrust" happens in a mere second or two, the zoom-in and zoom-out from 1st to 3rd person and back sent my head for a spin. edit: maybe it's so you can see the cool special effect blue color burst magic thrust with your own eyes...

If the Elephant was drivable, the Mammoth surely will be too. I don't think they would advertise it so much either unless you could drive it. Also, it makes sense unveiling the Mammoth since 343i still has wraps on a few Forerunner vehicles. ALSO also, the Operator specialization mod is said to help "land, air, space, and sea" vehicles. I think we're missing a huge chunk of info that will soon be revealed regarding vehicles.

Best Weapon Choices on Halo 3 & Halo Reach ! Why do you like them ?
Hᴜᴍᴘsᴛʏʟᴇs replied to chicagochamp702's topic in Halo 4
Halo 3 - dual maulers / dual spikers Reach - plasma launcher / plasma repeater In the least egotistical way, I've mastered all the "standard" weapons, so I enjoy playing with the unique ones -
brilliant deduction, watson! ...but really, sounds correct.

I think 6 bursts was the perfect amount: just enough to either turn a close-range double kill or be killed from mid-long range
-
I think the gauss cannon should cause player's ears to bleed with a headset on.

Do you think spawning with plasma grenades will be overpowered?
Hᴜᴍᴘsᴛʏʟᴇs replied to OrangeSpartan's topic in Halo 4
It seems that in Reach, plasma nades are definitely stronger and you can chuck them farther. I think that since 343i has been balancing out counterparts for UNSC/Covie/Promethean weapons, that they won't all be equal strength, but they'll have pros and cons that won't overpower one compared to another... -
Video Footage: Promethean Watchers Have Resurrection Powers!
Hᴜᴍᴘsᴛʏʟᴇs replied to Cooliest's topic in Halo 4
imagine if the watchers could resurrect other watchers...then those watchers each resurrected another watcher....... OMG WHAT IS HAPPENNNNNNING -
I kinda understand, since some of the specialization visor colors are gradients and multi-colored. Do you have a link to that video?
-
I loved Sandtrap; they will obviously redesign it and give it a major overhaul no matter what map it is. Hoping for Burial Mounds, but would be okay with Sandtrap as well.
-
The Plasma Rifle could have been a counterpart to the UNSC SAW. I'll definitely miss it, but the inclusion of the Storm Rifle fits with the canon of the campaign; how the Covenant is dismembered and now a rebellious faction of it is more prevalent and endangering.

If Chief reveals his face. Who would you want him to look like?
Hᴜᴍᴘsᴛʏʟᴇs replied to Itz JoshE's topic in Halo 4
He takes off the helmet, and there is the same exact helmet underneath. Spartanception. Helmet within a helmet. -
Oh dear science, I need a new pair of pants.

From what it looks like, there will be a rank regarding earning Spartan Points by playing, and a "secret" rank, only visible to you. This will discourage boosting since you'll be the only one who can see it.

ALL CREDIT TO EXAMINER Turns out a Game Informer employee leaked some information from their October issue (which obviously isn't out yet). Some of it's old, some of it's new. Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________________ The Knights are one of three subdivisions within the Prometheans. Crawlers are basically cannon fodder to distract from the Knights. Watchers are support units. They can shield knights, spawn watchers, resurrect knights. Prometheans work together strategically. Frankie's example of a Knight sniping him, he takes cover behind a column, Crawlers attack him by crawling down from the column. Promethean weapons/equipment designed to fight Flood. There are different variants of Knights, watchers, and crawlers. Knight - Deadly warriors, use weapons like Light Rifle and Supressor. Knight Lancer - Scouts and Marksmen, use Promethean Vision to locate hidden enemies Knight Commander - Have skills of Knights, but can wield Incineration Cannons, stronger armor, Autosentry turrets Knight Battlewagon - Rare but incredibly dangerous, huge frames draped in heavy armor and hardlight shielding, can deploy Autosentries, will wield Scattershot if you get too close. (Orange patterns through body and on face, orange spikes on back. Super badass!) Watcher - Wield boltshots, summon crawlers, protect and resurrect Knights. Crawler - Agile and move in packs, fire Boltshot from distance Crawler Snipe - upgraded crawlers, no further details. I assume they keep larger ranges. Alpha Crawler - Lead packs of Crawlers, has a Supressor This is just details about the Prometheans, might be considered spoilers to some people. Warning, the information below may reveal spoilers to the story in Halo 4. Prometheans work for the Forerunner civilization, "or whatever is left of it." Why do they now appear as robotic entities? Were they always this way? Prometheans are directed by a "general of sorts". First you encounter the Covenant. Then the Prometheans. But it is when they combine forces, and how they combine, that will offer biggest surprises. Also, the variants of the Prometheans weren't the blue ones, perhaps those are a different faction? Spectre with the recovered Spartan IVs as gunners FTW

Well, since the Prometheans are under order of The Didact (most likely), he might see Chief as a threat and direct the Prometheans to team up with a "lesser evil" to stop him. That's just my guess.
